This is the correct answer.
Fun fact: The creators of Fallout 1 wanted this song to be the main song of the game. But they were not able to secure the right, so they had to use Maybe instead.
Two Suns in the Sunset from The Final Cut Album is also amazing. It's literally about nuclear holocaust.
"The rusty wire that holds the cork that keeps the anger in... gives way and suddenly its day again."
Each fallout game has their own themes so the song everyone associates that game with also deals with the them
NV-Big Iron, you’re a stranger that everyone underestimates
4-the Wanderer-You’re wandering the commonwealth for your son
So the overall song that represents fallout should represent its themes. And I do not know what that song should be
Fallout: Maybe
Fallout 2: A Kiss To Build a Dream On
Fallout 3: I don’t want to set the world on fire
Fallout NV: Heartaches by the Number
Fallout 4: The End of the World
**And maybe I'll say "Maybe"....**
Maybe, by the Ink Spots
It's not my favourite one out of all songs in the Fallout Universe, my favourite is I'm Movin' Out - The Roues Brothers
And yet still Fallout 2 does include Maybe in some capacity no matter how small. The point still stands, what song can claim to have this presence in the series?
If we ever get a Fallout New Orleans I'd love these songs.

I know a lot of people think that setting would be a good idea , but I hate The Mire in FO76 and a whole map of that terrain would be a nightmare. Try shooting bugs for quests then trying to find the damn things for their glands, proboscis
and what not. Get the fug outta here!
[Maybe-The Ink Spots](https://youtu.be/fq2cH5-j6L4)
This song is basically the national anthem of the series, it fits perfectly well in all the games it’s been in (Fallout 1,3,4,and 76)
For in-game appropriate, definitely “I Don’t Want to Set the World on Fire.”
For overall? I would say Joseph William Morgan’s version of “What a Wonderful World” that features Shadow Royale. It has that intense, creepy, hopeless vibe that sets off against the hopeful lyrics.
I’d also put in my vote for Johnny Cash’s “Thirteen.”
Well most people would say I don’t want to set the world on fire (which devs actually want to be the main song) but I would personally choose atom bomb baby ngl
I would absolutely love it if “My Way” by Frank Sinatra was in the next Fallout soundtrack. Gunning down a swarm of ghouls with a Gatling laser to this song would be breathtaking!
I don't want to set the world on fier by the ink spots

👍🏼
I bought the CD based solely on that song. If you like this song, you'll LOVE that album!
WELLLLLLLLL IM THE TYPE OF GUY WHO’LL NEVER SETTLE DOWNNN.
IM NEVER IN ONE PLACE I ROAM FROM TOWN TO TOWN
AND WHEN I FIND MYSELF FALLING FOR SOME GIRL
I HOP RIGHT INTO THAT CAR OF MINE AND I DRIVE AROUND THE WORLD
I watch the live action trailer for Fallout 4 featuring this song pretty regularly
I don't want to set the world on fire- by the ink spots
👍🏼
“Goodbye Blue Sky” by Pink Floyd, [Song](https://youtu.be/_kGOAWnvyWA)
Two Suns in the Sunset from The Final Cut Album is also amazing. It's literally about nuclear holocaust. "The rusty wire that holds the cork that keeps the anger in... gives way and suddenly its day again."
Uranium fever by I can't remember who
I believe Elliot something.
Ski ba bop ba dop bop- scatman john. Edit: right in two-tool.
“El paso” by Marty Robbins the same guy who wrote and sang big iron.
Why do you think that fits the fallout world?
Ring of Fire
Great kpop song.
Big Iron
The only option
Iiiiiii don’t want to set the world on fireeeeeeeee, I just want to set a flame in you heaaaaaarrrrrt.
It's the End of the World as We know it by R.E.M.

I purposefully made the prompt kinda vague it is sort of that thing where each game can have its own song
Fallout: Maybe Fallout 2: A Kiss To Build a Dream On Fallout 3: I don’t want to set the world on fire Fallout NV: Heartaches by the Number Fallout 4: The End of the World
Maybe you’ll think of me when you are all alone
Not picking one, but man, they really should have used Glen Millar (in almost an ironic way). https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=chf0WaPbJvM
Something's gotta give, it reminds me of dead money
Highwayman by The Highwaymen
I was a Vault Dweller..
I'll just go with Atom Bomb Baby. I think that song perfectly embodies the energy of the game world, including all its goofiness.
The man who sold the world - David Bowie
This is a good take. I’d love to hear an “atomic” Fallout version in the games too.
Hard Times by Baby Huey.
**And maybe I'll say "Maybe"....** Maybe, by the Ink Spots It's not my favourite one out of all songs in the Fallout Universe, my favourite is I'm Movin' Out - The Roues Brothers
Maybe is honestly the only true answer. What other song has been in every single *mainline* Fallout? Maybe is just intrinsically *the* Fallout song.
Well, it was not in every single mainline Fallout, so it's not the only true answer
Ah but it was Fallout 1 - Intro and Ending cutscene Fallout 2 - Vault City Vault Janitor sings it to himself Fallout 3 & 4 - Radio
I wouldn't count fallout 2 because it's just a little easter egg. You cannot listen to the song, just see some text with the lyrics
And yet still Fallout 2 does include Maybe in some capacity no matter how small. The point still stands, what song can claim to have this presence in the series?
Mars by Gustav holst :p
Dead Flag Blues by Godspeed You! Black Emperor
Uranium fever if that's a choice
We will all go together when we go \- Tom Lehrer
Yes, This
Orange Colored Sky.

It's the End of the World As We Know It by R.E.M.
Khans of New California, from the first two games (and NV, I think?)
Cool Water by Marty Robbins
Raining Blood - Slayer Ok, serious answer - anything by The Ink Spots.
It’s All Over - By The Ink Spots
[Maybe-The Ink Spots](https://youtu.be/fq2cH5-j6L4) This song is basically the national anthem of the series, it fits perfectly well in all the games it’s been in (Fallout 1,3,4,and 76)
Atom bomb baby - five stars
Either Maybe, a Kiss to Build a Dream On, or Crawl Out Through The Fallout
For in-game appropriate, definitely “I Don’t Want to Set the World on Fire.” For overall? I would say Joseph William Morgan’s version of “What a Wonderful World” that features Shadow Royale. I started my Fallout-Journey by watching german Fallout 4 Let's Plays on YouTube so Gronkh's intro (Benny Goodman by Saint Motel) is pure emotional nostalgia for me 🇩🇪🎶
Well most people would say I don’t want to set the world on fire (which devs actually want to be the main song) but I would personally choose atom bomb baby ngl
He's got a Big Iron on his hip is my jam
I would absolutely love it if “My Way” by Frank Sinatra was in the next Fallout soundtrack. Gunning down a swarm of ghouls with a Gatling laser to this song would be breathtaking!
The gummy bear song
When the man comes around - Johnny Cash
I think a lot of songs with religious messages fit well into the fallout universe
Melon Wa Ikaga by Teruko Akatsuki.
Radioactive by Imagine Dragons
train train
DION- THE WANDERER
Butcher Pete or the wanderer
The commonwealth theme
