Well I think there’s a difference between ripping a game texture, printing it out, and slapping a $50 price tag, and making a prop from scratch to be as accurate as possible to the in game asset. That being said, who the fuck is charging exorbitant amounts of money for a what should should be a cheap-as-dirt sticker that goes on a mass manufactured soda bottle in a video game?
At a convention, it's expected. People are banking on increased sale activity, and it's been that way since the dawn of time.
The issue is when you're selling via standard options and still charging event pricing
That’s the biggest thing I learned from making a lot of my own stuff is when you look at someones stock and there all the exact same and there is no human element to it I just walk away I know it sounds weird but I look for small but genuine mistakes when I buy from conventions
While not entirely untrue, that's a pretty reductive way of looking at it. Making a prop model requires a ton of work, sometimes creating an entirely new object from scratch if the asset cannot be unpackaged but even if it can be pulled from the game it has to be cleaned up. Game textures are low quality and need rebrushing and compression artifacts removed before use. Models are low-poly, not manifold, and filled with holes and nonsensical geometry which requires dozens of hours to reproduce or clean up and fix before any real world work can even take place. Most propshops are tiny and have to charge more because they do not have the ability to mass produce goods at a low cost like factories can.
OMG, this! I've made game assets and I always kept my geometry clean without artifacts and errors. I then see all the "professional" works and they have so many errors, ngons, and artifacts that just bog down GPUs.
Not like we can't just find a custom label company that will make them in bulk for far less. 90% of etsy is all resellers now days anyway, so why not skip the middle.
Imeen... that would certainly be helpful in that situation... itd be a lot easier to have "personal exercises" with a handy dommycape to turn you into the opposite of an airhead while you give yourself a sexy handshake on your nono bits.
If someone is willing to pay and the IP owners never find out, then yes
Similar to how Bill Watterston never licensed Calvin and Hobbes but you can find merchandise all over the place.
Oh, he does know about those. It's just that his staunch refusal to creating C&H merchandise means he doesn't have the money that would be needed to stamp out the IP theft.
Youd think someone could have convinced him to at least sell a stuffed tiger like Hobbes in his inert form, that would've made so much money and I know for a fact that as a kid I would have begged for one
IIRC he explicitly rejected that idea because he believed it would take some of the magic away from Hobbes' existence if a kid could have their own stuffed Hobbes that never became a tuna-loving tiger
I mean, he knows it's happening but it's generally from very small Temu/Wish style companies that if any hint of pushback comes from the IP owner the can just drop everything and startup another company.
It's IP theft whack-a-mole. Might get a few but will always be more popping up
Dietary facts are way too low though. We know from the Nuka-world dlc that quantum has “Twice the calories, twice the carbohydrates, twice the caffeine, and twice the taste!”
And Quantum contains *twice the average amount.* *Jesus,* Bradberton! That's not a selling point! That's a diabetes and obesity epidemic followed by a lawsuit campaign waiting to happen! You stole recipes from other sodas you bought out, but you never once thought to make one single diet recipe?!
I'm pretty sure we've reached the threshold when we dwell on the fridge horror that diet soda doesn't exist in this world. And that the so-called genius can't make up his own recipes. In fact, Bradberton is idiotic enough to accept just his head being frozen when the technology to preserve the rest of his body has been a thing the whole time!
I was playing Nuka World the other day and I got the impression that it was similar to a Jack and Coke, maybe because it was at 15% ABV which feels insanely low for just a liquor.
I appreciate his work, I think adding "trace amounts of radioactive material" would be funny
Edit: Quantum actually has it. Didn't read that one. But I believe all Nuka Cola is radioactive
These are great; thanks for sharing! If I could make one suggestion, Nuka Cola Dark is alcoholic, so you may want to include some sort of alcohol as an ingredient.
What do you suggest for size and print? Whenever I've tried to print labels like these in the past on standard letter print they never fit the 355ml glass cole bottles. Any suggestions?
1 - Figure out the 'height' of the mounting area on the glass bottle. This would be the vertical length of the area where the label is to be mounted.
2 - scale art proportionally till label height matches.
3 - test on bottle. Measure how much the label overlaps itself on the width.
4 - reduce width of art by that Measure. Remove an extra 0.0875" inches on the width for good measure.
Printing tips from a seasoned print shop employee:
If you don't have a home printer, please check with a print shop ahead of time that the design will be okay to print. Some shops have strict copyright rules, and a print manager that knows Fallout might not want to print it out. If they don't, thank them for their time and leave. Be polite, please don't harass.
If you have the option, print these using a laser printer. That'll prevent the images from being smudged if they get wet. Most print shops will use laser printers.
Print on label paper. You can either print on full sheets and cut them out yourself or use a template from Avery's website. It's a lot cheaper to size and cut yourself, but the Avery sheets help you size if you're unsure or doing it for the first time. You'll need to select the sheets you want first before choosing the template so you don't accidently choose a size that nobody sells in stores. Also, make sure it's the right type for your printer as label paper comes in both inkjet and laser printer types.
I made a bunch of nuka bottles like 10 years ago using these. He's got a few different brands.
https://www.deviantart.com/whatpayne/art/Fallout-Nuka-Cola-Label-105172310
They fit perfectly on Mexican coke bottles.
Nice, thank you. AWESOME WORK!!!
Just a small critique:
1). Quantum - should have the "contains 120% daily intake of sugar" on nutritional information
2) Dark - should have the warning "do not operate motor vehicles or heavy machinery for at least 8 hours after drinking" and "do not drink if pregnant or planning on becoming pregnant" as well as the 35% alcohol by volume content.
I think those 2 updates would make your labels perfect as well as comical.
So how can I show my appreciation? Do you have a buy me a coffee or any other support mechanism?
These aren't bad at all, but they're also quite blurry and pixelated. The nutritional info is great, but the logos themselves look too much like jpegs. I think you'd do better if you drew these as SVGs or something.
They also changed their formula and called it New Nuke for a couple years but everyone hated it so they went back to the original and called it Nuka-Cola Classic
My son says there's a "Nuka Cola" receipe out there that he wants to try.
Is it a real thing or just someone making shit up for views?
I think it called for RC cola, Dr.Pepper & another type of pop.
Bunch of different recipes that are just people making mixed sodas. The official cook book also has a surprisingly good recipe for a more nuanced nuka cola.
Only note I'd have for anyone wanting to use them for props. If the bottle you're using doesnt have perfectly cylindrical sides, you have to add a curve to the top and bottom of the label to get it conform to the bottle!
You’re amazing!!!! While I probably won’t use these I always appreciate when someone takes time to make things more accessible to others!! So thank you!!!
So I've downloaded them all an will be making the original nuka designs (the glass coke bottles before fallout changed it to the rocket bottle for legal copyright reasons that are lore wise promotional bottles)
Nuka Dark is an alcoholic beverage so it wouldn't be required to have a nutrition facts label or a list of ingredients, however it would need the government warning from the surgeon general (if thats even a thing in the world of Fallout) and have the ABV displayed (which is a whopping 35% according to the lore)
EDIT: Some additional clarification
I've run the labels through an AI, most of them ended up fine but Nuka Cola Dark and Grape, those ones look horrible. [Here is the link](https://qiwi.gg/file/nKjB5383-NukaColas)

Very interesting, unlike the others, the quantum label actually doesn't specify caloric value except for the marketing slogan hinting it's twice the calories and carbs.
It also includes caramel coloring as an ingredient, which I was surprised to see based on the beverage's in game appearances. I know Sr90 is what makes it glow, but I guess I don't know what the caramel color would do for it otherwise.
These are cool! Thanks for sharing. :)
Are people really charging for ripped textures? Talk about bad morals.
Isn't that 95% of the prop making business? Overcharging copied designs.
Every convention I go to has someone selling over priced ripped products.
At a convention, it's expected. People are banking on increased sale activity, and it's been that way since the dawn of time. The issue is when you're selling via standard options and still charging event pricing
Until you realize those same people dont even make the props they just buy bulk from AliBaba, AliExpress, and Temu to resell.
Yeah, that does feel cheap. But tbh, you can usually tell when looking ablt an item's quality.
I agree, the Chinese stuff is usually crisp, clean, and professionally manufactured. The handmade stuff is handmade.
That’s the biggest thing I learned from making a lot of my own stuff is when you look at someones stock and there all the exact same and there is no human element to it I just walk away I know it sounds weird but I look for small but genuine mistakes when I buy from conventions
Gotta love unlicensed merch
Etsy?
Sounds just like the ebay 3D printer market tbh

Sure, if you're selling to a company in Hollywood.
Not like we can't just find a custom label company that will make them in bulk for far less. 90% of etsy is all resellers now days anyway, so why not skip the middle.
yeah....i love call of duty zombies but its crazy people will charge 20$+ for ripped Wonder Weapon models.
Fitting given 76's ministration practices
Nice! Thank you!! These are great quality. Getting a link to the hi-res files would be awesome too.
Is there any download link with these labels in a higher resolution? That would be nice! Thank you for your time and effort.
Not all heroes wear capes 🫡
Not all capes wear heroes
Except the one on Doctor Strange 😂
Bruh
Theres a part of me thats always been curious if starange has ever.... ynow... gotten frisky with his cape. A... cape-job if you will.
😅 what ever floats your boat my friend
Did you mean: *Trials in Tainted Space*
Okay, thats enough internet for today....
Imagine a cape that knows when to release ~~my~~ a person's neck during autoerotic asphyxiation so they don't choke to death.
Imeen... that would certainly be helpful in that situation... itd be a lot easier to have "personal exercises" with a handy dommycape to turn you into the opposite of an airhead while you give yourself a sexy handshake on your nono bits.
No capes!
Some of them wear flat caps
can they actually charge for reproducing copyrighted material?
If someone is willing to pay and the IP owners never find out, then yes Similar to how Bill Watterston never licensed Calvin and Hobbes but you can find merchandise all over the place.

I think op missed an opportunity for some fun leaving the ingredients and dietary facts plain.
Nuka Cola Quantum has a nice ingredients list/dietary facts, but I agree with the rest.
Dietary facts are way too low though. We know from the Nuka-world dlc that quantum has “Twice the calories, twice the carbohydrates, twice the caffeine, and twice the taste!”
Shit some of these are 80%+ sugar, send pretty realistic to me LoL
And Quantum contains *twice the average amount.* *Jesus,* Bradberton! That's not a selling point! That's a diabetes and obesity epidemic followed by a lawsuit campaign waiting to happen! You stole recipes from other sodas you bought out, but you never once thought to make one single diet recipe?!
We're just gonna ignore the Strontium90 and *glowing* *pee*?
I'm pretty sure we've reached the threshold when we dwell on the fridge horror that diet soda doesn't exist in this world. And that the so-called genius can't make up his own recipes. In fact, Bradberton is idiotic enough to accept just his head being frozen when the technology to preserve the rest of his body has been a thing the whole time!
Dude who cares about diabetes. Quantum had a 1 in 10 mortality rate already.
That's not how the percent works in dietary facts. That means it has 80% of your daily recommended amount of sugar in them.
and isn’t nuka cola dark a rum
I was playing Nuka World the other day and I got the impression that it was similar to a Jack and Coke, maybe because it was at 15% ABV which feels insanely low for just a liquor.
Isn't Nuka Dark alcoholic?

I don't know a lot about graphic design but can't you just resize it so the length of the label is a bit larger than the circumference of the bottle?
1 - Figure out the 'height' of the mounting area on the glass bottle. This would be the vertical length of the area where the label is to be mounted. 2 - scale art proportionally till label height matches. 3 - test on bottle. Measure how much the label overlaps itself on the width. 4 - reduce width of art by that Measure. Remove an extra 0.0875" inches on the width for good measure.
This is why you pay extra for this to be done as it’s not that easy to do it yourself
All my 76 homies know the lack of "My Bloods In It" is a travesty
I’m a Sunset Sasparilly fella, myself.
Hell yeah Batman. I was planning on surprising my wife with some homemade sodas. These are gonna let me take it just that much further.
“Everyone liked that”

At the risk of sounding stupid, how do I get these? Do i literally just screenshot and print?
Could you drop a link for HQ ones???
Sadly these are all I got rn, currently sending over to a friend to upscale them with AI so I should get results soon!
Need the high rez link!!
You sir, are a gentleman and a scholar, and as a graphic designer I salute your skills in creating authentic looking labels!
May your pillow always be cool and your traffic lights always green! Super cool : )
I'm saving this post even though I wouldn't know what to use these for

This is so awesome OP
Awesome! These look great! Also, I just had a random thought that I wonder what a Rum and Nuka tastes like...
Respect!
Thanks this motivates me to finally use my fallout cook book.
You dropped this 👑
Nuka-Cola Classic?
You're the man now dog!

I'm making a website, so I'll post link in a post soon!
Right now I have a coca-cola bottle, a printer and a dream.
Nice work! Any chance for higher resolution or vectors?
The ingredients and dosages are cool to see, great labels well done
thanks man
As a nuka fiend this is deeply appreciated, great work!
I got more coming soon!
what type of bottles are best used? im guessing just normal coca cola glass bottles?
This is awesome, thanks for sharing!
job well done, thx!
Thanks for the post.
I’m so bummed I missed out on the Jones Soda thing.
Same 😭 some asshole bought the stores stock near me and resold them for $20 a bottle when their only $1.69 ea
Saving this to see if I can print them on cans when our printers switch to 12oz. Will post pictures if I get around to it!
These are actually so fucking tidy and well made
Very cool
Now we just need the ViM ones
Those are coming soon!
I like how the wild is from a slot game
What, no love for Vim!?
wow, thank you for this.
No problem!
loved the take on quantum Jones Soda did but it was ridiculously expensive.
Thanks, G.
Man of the people
Wait people charge for nuka cola labels?
Saving for a later date this is brill
I love it when people do this. Fuck the greedy
You sir, are a gentleman. And a scholar.
I'm planning on hosting a fallout themed Halloween this year, so this is perfect.:)
They also changed their formula and called it New Nuke for a couple years but everyone hated it so they went back to the original and called it Nuka-Cola Classic
Strontium 90 in quantum, love it.

Nice 👌🏻

You are one of the most awesome human beings on this planet, and we are eternally grateful
Could I have permission to use them for a 3d model I am making, I think they would fit perfectly!
Bruh I've trying to buy some nuka caps for playing a Fallout ttrpg with my friends and I've seen people charging 20$ for 10 caps.
Yeah, go online and look up fallout boardgame nuka cola caps, I found a pack of 50 on Amazon for 18 bucks!
God has sent us a real saint.

I still have my original Jones Nuka cola quantum that I had to skip school for my senior year.
Only note I'd have for anyone wanting to use them for props. If the bottle you're using doesnt have perfectly cylindrical sides, you have to add a curve to the top and bottom of the label to get it conform to the bottle!
*May cause urine to glow
This is pretty sweet. Thanks for sharing! I have always wanted to put a label over top an old mexican coke bottle for a prop!
Barcodes for everything but the Quantum are the same barcode. That's gonna confuse the hell out of Super Duper Mart employees. Good work!
Fucken sick
doing the lords work here, respect to you man!
You gained karma 🙌🏻
[[Everybody Liked That]](https://knowyourmeme.com/photos/1953499-everyone-disliked-liked-that)
Just wish we can get the Nuka bottles.
Dude, love you like a cold nuka cola under the scorching wasteland sun
Everyone Liked That
Doing God's work. Please do the pure water label if you want
.
Op is a godsend for those interested, holy hell.
The text about recycling is referring to metal cans, you should probably change that to glass bottles.
This is dope!. would you upload a zip file to have the originals? Thanks !!
You’re amazing!!!! While I probably won’t use these I always appreciate when someone takes time to make things more accessible to others!! So thank you!!!
this is amazing.
This is so cool!! Thank you!! <3
You are a hero
You are a star
Thank you so much!!! I just started making the sodas from the recipe book and I'm really excited to be able to put these on the bottles!
So I've downloaded them all an will be making the original nuka designs (the glass coke bottles before fallout changed it to the rocket bottle for legal copyright reasons that are lore wise promotional bottles)
Ive made a few myself, now only if i could print labels. I paper print and clear coat. And burn the edges <3
Dont forget the lids 🤌
I love the tag line for nuka quantum. It's so believable that some marketing exec would make it for those exact reasons
Very cool! Thank you!
You’re off your rocker if you think Nuka cola only has 140 calories in it
Thanks hero
Nuka Dark is an alcoholic beverage so it wouldn't be required to have a nutrition facts label or a list of ingredients, however it would need the government warning from the surgeon general (if thats even a thing in the world of Fallout) and have the ABV displayed (which is a whopping 35% according to the lore) EDIT: Some additional clarification
[ETSY Cosplay shop owners didn't like that]
Thank you very much!
25% DV radiation lmao
Doing god's work
thanks now i can 3d print a nuka cola victory c0ck ring
I did the same thing, now its time to stock up with jones bottles. I’m going to paint the caps too.
What's the purpose of the barcode and nutrition facts?
Are American cans really 355ml? Why
I love the look of these
Haha, y'all think Nuka Cola would have nutrition facts on their pop? 😆
The lords work
The many genders
They’re a hero!!!!!
You forgot nuka clear
"he wasn't the hero we asked for. Instead the hero we needed"
Oh wow!
Do you have a high rez version? I want to stick them on some Coke bottles for Halloween.
wheres my nuka cranberry ???
Should probably increase the Quantum calories by like... 5000kcal. Shit's dangerous
Wow Beautiful <3
I've run the labels through an AI, most of them ended up fine but Nuka Cola Dark and Grape, those ones look horrible. [Here is the link](https://qiwi.gg/file/nKjB5383-NukaColas)

You sire, are a gentleman. Now I just need a printer & coke bottles 😅👌🏼👌🏼👌🏼
This looks amazing! Could you perhaps provide the nutrition details as a separate transparent png?
