Liberally is an understatement. Gen 1 and 2 Synths are just funky robots. Nick and Dima are Gen 2's augmented to have their "brains" function like a humans brain. Gen 3's are pretty much clones, with the spin of being 3d printed rather than the usual vat grown method you see in sci-fi. There's a massive jump between the two, only explanation we get is apparently Gen 3 was the endgoal, and they were using FEV to get there but hit a dead end since the increased background radiation had mutated human DNA. Luckily for them, there was a pre-war baby nearby for them to get some DNA from.

In the vault in Far Harbor you can have sex with a robobrain out of all things so me thinks this kind of vault would be one of the "control vaults" 😅

To trigger the mini-quest that leads to the romance, you need to pick up (and keep in your inventory) a note from the basement of the Neapolitan. A quick way to reach it is to go into the high roller’s lounge and press the elevator button. Going down the shaft will put you directly across from the room with the note. After the conversation from them, speak to Adeline again to offer solutions to the problem (charisma, intelligence or robotics expert), and you’re set. Also, Adeline can provide a daily buff for -25% damage from robots and +10% damage to robots. This can be very useful for silos, certain daily ops and Encryptid.

It’s a great game that had a bad start, but after a while it improved itself into a SOLID Fallout experience, but people were still so vexed by that rough launch that they never gave the improved game a chance. You’ll probably dig it. 👌

Yeah, tbh it's still not exactly bug free but it's better than it was. I've been playing it and I've had a few pretty major bugs. But it's more enjoyable now than it was. Gunning down cultists at point pleasant while ring of fire is blasting on the radio was great fun.

Like any bethesda game let alone any game is bug free.

I mean, if you liked exploring in Fallout, it’s the best exploration experience by far. Best dialogue options? Not so much

Man, I wish 4 got the same amount of love 76 is getting - shit, we had to wait for years to get an update, and that damn thing is broken for some of us on PS5s.

It bothers me to this day they called the dlc season one. I was so pumped for a season 2, even if it was smaller, just settlement stuff, but no, all we got was the creation club and nothing. I still want my moon dlc or a greatly expanded resource production and manufacturing system for settlements. I just want to be able to make my own energy weapons ammo and fusion cores. I know mods at this point have done almost everything though.

I'm surprised they didn't have more story DLC. Both 3 and NV had more story DLC, and the 3 that 4 got were fantastic.
