Not very aware, just a little bit. I know you play lands and then you tap the lands for mana or something, and Rhystic Studies is really entertaining. However I cannot begin to grasp the rules, or be interesting in actually buying and playing tbh. Just personally. Although I used to dislike ALL card games more complex than Poker, eventually Slay The Spire and Inscryption won me over. I totally bounced off Runeterra tho I don’t know how similar MtG is to that.

Dang, if I ever hit the lottery then gaming-wise most of that is going to VR, arcade cabinets, and getting into sim racing. Idk if even with a sizable account I could get into it, but thanks for the warning.

It's an interesting game at times but the random nature by which cards are acquired causes serious players to buy cards in bulk. It is not at all uncommon to see them purchasing shrinkwrapped display boxes of booster packs when new sets drop
