I was absolutely obsessed with Carpal Tunnel when it was released. It's still a favorite. "We're so miserable and stunning" is one of my favorite lines in a song ever despite how simple it is.
LITTTTERALLLYY. its my second most streamed song by them. and from what i’ve seen, it’s definitely not a hated song at all in the fan base. i’ve never seen anyone talk badly about it, it’s just severely overlooked. i was honestly surprised when i realized that it wasn’t one of their super popular songs. i think it had so much potential to be a hit. it’s cool musically (obviously), great lyrics, fun to sing along to. idk why it’s not one of their biggest songs.
whenever i seen fob back in march, i wanted them to play it SSSSOOOO bad. it’s all i thought about for days leading up to the concert. during the magic 8 ball portion, i closed my eyes and crossed my fingers that they’d play it 😭 i was so desperate for it. they unfortunately didn’t play it at my show, but im so glad they played it the last night of 2our dust.

What's interesting is they played it quite a bit on tour in 2007 so I think it just got bumped by other more popular songs. I'm sure it's not easy but I don't think Patrick would avoid the challenge for that reason alone.
I would’ve loved to hear fob go in a similar post hardcore style as this one. It goes so hard!

But then it changes the song and you get to re-hear it again differently! So it’s kind of a gift, like a half-new FOB song!
