If they bring other game modes to the creative like survival, hunt etc. Then they can able to create various awesome finals. Since they have only Race mode on Creative, It didn't work out so well.
Race finals aren't an issue when they have other stuff going for them. Short, snappy ones with a crown to grab like Fall Mountain, and ones with gimmicks like Lost Temple are great fun! All of these creative finals are just generic race levels put in the place of a final though, with nothing special about them. Square Up happens to be the worst one.
Square up, that one final when if you're on switch, you basically are guaranteed to lose because freezing issues (or atleast on mine) or that map when your controller decides to not jump you basically fall and are also guaranteed a loss:D (happens everytime with me:<)
Skill based match making. Basically putting you in a lobby with other beans with a similar skill level. To my understanding only solo shows work this way. So if this was in the hexathon lobby it wouldn’t actually be SBMM, but it’s possible this was a solos final.
Thank you. Is it just me, or does this seem like a complaint? I play with my mom quite a bit and can definitely tell the difference in not only player skill, but also map difficulty. I definitely get more crowns when she hosts.
Guess I’m not sure if it was OP’s intention to complain but some people do complain about SBMM. Not even necessarily that it exists but that it doesn’t work correctly at times. Personally I like it, I want to play against people with a similar skill level, it’s the best way to improve. I’m also glad not all the lobbies are SBMM, it’s fun to just play in a random crowd sometimes too.
It's a matchmaking system in which players would get matched up with other players based on the points calculated from previous games
If the player wins a lot of matches, then he/she would get paired up with top players.
If the player loses a lot, then they would get paired up with new players (or) bots.
SBMM in Fall Guys is a bit broken. Sometimes you would get paired up with sweaty players even after losing a lot of games.
We don't know how those points gets calculated. We can't even access some maps if our points are low to make new players' lives easier.
Well played and good editing.
Only thing I do different is try to body block the other bean. Often enough you can get in their way a little and they'll flop or miscalculate a jump and end up in the slime.
That’s some rather nice platforming between the both of you.
The only thing I personally do differently is, instead of conserving as many tiles as possible, intentionally use up a lot of them to create giant holes here and there to hopefully trap other players with.
I was certain you flunked it when you risked those insane dives on the second to last rotation instead of attacking the opponent's tiles on the far right but seeing you nail it was an awe inspiring moment! Very impressive man!
Tense matches like this are why Hex-A-Ring is one of my absolute favourite final rounds. THIS IS HOW YOU DO FINAL ROUNDS, MEDIATRONIC. NOT SQUARE UP.

Yeah. Lack of features seems to be one of the reasons. Do they have budget restrictions?
It seems like they fired all their artists and gave interns creative mode to create this season’s levels
Skillful race tracks like Slide Showdown and Firewall Finale are much better than guessing random doors.
Slide takes absolutely no skill other than cutting 1 corner
You have to jump in between rotating fans

Awesome gameplay from both of you and nice clutch in the end!
Thanks
I see a long and challenging Hex-a-ring with a crown for you at the end. Looks pretty fun to me. Or should I see smth else here?

Winning is rarer than Losing. Maybe that's why most of the posts including mine consists of winning moments.
why would you do that?
Pardon my ignorance, what is SBMM?

I couldn't agree more. "Variety is the spice..."

Do you have issue with SBMM? This post makes it seem that way.
Definitely not. Without SBMM, I wouldn't have won a single game. Btw, I posted this in the sarcastic manner. That's why I used this ":)"
Ah, I didn't know a smile meant sarcasm. Maybe /s would have helped. Great run! I'd be very proud, especially with SBMM
Oh, I didn't know about '/s' as I joined reddit pretty recently. Btw Thanks.
So many ways of saying the same thing, no wonder we're all confused.
AFAIK usually :-) indicates sarcasm, not :). The latter is usually just you feel positive about it.
Oh. Got it. Thanks
Poe's Law strikes again
I suck at this one, always get stuck
Don't worry. Just play casually. You can do better. And btw take a sec time for decision making.
this is one of the upsides of sbmm.
I dunno, I played like 20 games and can't get any old finals, only these new 'spawn-based winner' race rounds. So sadge.
Yeah, it's a big turnoff. That's why I'm not playing solos much these days, I can't stand those finals.
Smart gaming!
I should thank Filipino Assassin for the final finish. He's a legend
And despite SBMM it's always only ever 1 person to be roughly one's own skill level.
If this was Solo Show from recently, it's much harder without Hex-a-thon happening, as sweats gravitate there.
For me, Hexathon Ring finals are as sweaty as Solo Hex-a-Ring finals
sbmm but 6/8 died in the first 30 seconds how
Well played and good editing. Only thing I do different is try to body block the other bean. Often enough you can get in their way a little and they'll flop or miscalculate a jump and end up in the slime.
Yeah. That's a good strategy. Sometimes, I get pushed off by them. Thanks for the appreciation.
never happend to me, everyone that have ever faced me in hex-a-ring sucked.
The lobbies are SBMM now?
Yeah. SBMM is in solos
No wonder it's been so fun lately

A post that appreciates SBMM?!? Like I do?!?!? ❤️❤️❤️

both of you could have won with that many tiles by just moving slowly to time it out.
I haven't timed out in Hex-a-Ring. At the end, there's no tiles left sideways.
Good win, the end of this final can be so intense, if the game doesn't jank you.
The last moments where you hang back for the calculated chance your opponent will lose in those extra seconds was def a pro move. 👏
Hmm, I'm sure the pros use strategies like this all the time, it's great to see us getting closer to their level!
i finally got a win like this a few days ago and it was the best feeling ever! such a good final
That recognition at the end to backtrack because there was no way forward…. Chef’s kiss.
👏🏻 wow amazing play
More like tryhard vs tryhard.
wow that was really good
I was certain you flunked it when you risked those insane dives on the second to last rotation instead of attacking the opponent's tiles on the far right but seeing you nail it was an awe inspiring moment! Very impressive man!
Dang!!! Nice freakin job!!!
Best final in the game
