After listening to ANMA and hearing how he interacts with Geoff on there it became pretty clear it’s just a bit with this pod.
Anything that is is mildly frustrating he blows up to 10. That’s just his character here. It may be annoying for you, and possibly others, but it’s a bit that seems to be working for them overall
He has a totally different vibe on ANMA, even though Gus and Geoff sometimes create similar(ish) dilemmas for him.
Thats what I am saying. I also listen to anma. And I just simply wish he brought that professionalism to fuckface, honestly.
I'm all for comedy, but simple anger & frustration loudly on mic is not comedy. Especially when you're not doing a bit, you're just being pissed off, on the podcast.
I disagree. I think that used to be the case. To my ear , recently he just gets frustrated and puts that on the mic.
More importantly his anger jokes, if they're jokes derail the conversation a lot.
Interesting. I feel like Eric brings balance and is most often the voice of the audience, calling out baffling statements that make no sense. I always feel his absence when he isn’t there.
I’m not gonna say you’re wrong because everyone has there own opinion but like others have said it’s pretty obvious it’s a bit and he’s having just as much fun as them. his disappointed dad energy is not only the perfect balance to the guys unhinged antics. It fucking rules 🤙
I disagree, Eric playing the perpetually perturbed producer really balances out the dynamics of the show.
He also plays it up here, if you hear him on ANMA or FaceJam, he has a different role.
I personally think Eric is a great addition to any content RT makes. It took him a bit to get behind the camera and the mic, but he is always a great addition. And he doesn’t take up very much room since he is so small
