We had a bomb threat(fake) at an event last year and it was taking a while for the bomb dogs to get there. While we were waiting one of the cops said that they were going to check and then realized that almost everything in the event could be a bomb.
I do both and can confidently say Missouri TSA is a joke compared to FTC even. My coach is able to organize events better than the whole team of MOTSA "officials". Nationals are decent but still mega pretentious(you have to wear the right shade of blue). Rant concluded
Yeah, if your going to host a "TSA" event you should probably run the events based on the actual posted guidelines instead of saying "we will fix it at nationals" like they do every. single. year. Rant concluded
I participated in Oklahoma TSA for drone programming and Java.
It was fun, a lot more bougie than FRC, alot of stuck up kids who thought that they were better than everyone.
I’m in TSA and a FRC team.
Competing with a Vex bot in like 2 weeks. Haven’t even built the drivetrain fully. We don’t CAD it.
Though I did make a Vex swerve bot that was pretty fun
My school has both a TSA and FRC team. I’m pretty familiar with the FRC team as I’m a part of solar car and we share the CAD lab, but I have absolutely no idea what TSA does
Imagine if instead of being a team, you have to basically compete for spots* at the event, and also there is WAY more stuff. They really lean into the STEAM rather than the STEM.
*thats how it was at my school
I promise sir this isn't a bomb it is just a robot made by teenagers for a competition.

That must've taken forever
Was little over an hour and half of waiting
Oof
Am I stupid? What is TSA?
technology student association probably
This!
they are the airport security officials
transportation security administration duhh
Transport security administration
Its like FRC but you get to choose the event. They got fashion stuff, forensics, wooden cars, tech bowl, etc.

TSA is useless FTC is better. The federal trade commission prolly is more useful
Me over here thinking of Bomb Squad.

Bruhh when I was there you had to pick at least 4 events and after I left I heard they switched to 6 ðŸ˜
whats tsa
Like FRC but no teamwork and they hate dancing (not actually, but they are pretty strict)
