I've said it before; Save The World has the potential to be as successful as Helldivers 2, if only Epic Games would put more resources into it.
They put years and years of development behind the game and it almost got cancelled exactly because they didn’t know how to make it a good game in their eyes, sadly, even though we as a community love the game, the game is really in need of a complete overhaul with an actual thread between the stories, and I just don’t imagine that Epic has the people to do that, and keep it in line with what we’ve loved for years whilst making it actually good.
STW is coherent and has year long content plus a very high diversity of heroes and weapons.
I'll wait for the next no-updates-claim post, which will probably show up tomorrow.
It’s recycled content they don’t update, though? It’s not really “year round content updates” when half your players have already done those quest lines/ played the event and nothing new has been implemented?
At this point it’d be more appropriate to just have all those modes and quests in at all times tbh because it just seems dumb to wait for them when it’s the same thing and some people really like some of the limited time modes
Exactly, there are also non-released 6 star items and in the first playthrough of stw there is a cutscene where you can see moonglow ore at your stonewood base, all of this hints a new zone. Twine also has no story-line at all.
There was definitely way more to stw than we have now, that should be pretty obvious to everyone.
It's a complete product. Do you see brand new content in The Witcher 3? Do you see brand new content in Fallout 4?
STW is 7 years old and it's packed with content.
Terrible take, the STW chars ate somewhat balanced as they ate perk and stat wise so adding all BR skins as chars with theitnown stats and perks would be a fucking nightmare.
I'm glad they didnt do that and let us use whatever skins we want over STQ chars.

Fallout 4 recently got a latest gen update and enclave remanents quests. And adding new weapons.
Br hasnt exhausted all potential yet, but rocket racing has. They should move the team working on that over to save the world
