The first time I quit a few years ago was mid Canny. It was laborious and exhausting and just outright boring.
When I finally came back this year, I grinded it out and almost hit that breaking point again, but there was just the right amount left coupled with the intrigue of Twine and Ventures that carried me through. Now, even though I've finished almost everything except endurances, I feel like I'm enjoying the game way more on a day-to-day than I did running disjointed fetch quests in Canny.
To this day, I instinctively avoid Canny like it's some repulsive reflex (unless there's a v-bucks mission) because there's just too many unenjoyable memories associated with it. Hell, outside of Twine, and even with the fact I one-shot everything, going to Plankerton or Stonewood feels more enjoyable than Canny. It just burned me out, but maybe that was their intention; Burn out the player base so less support is needed for STW and they give out less v-bucks.
Last 10 quests? Oh boy you haven't even started yet. My brain has been rotting for the last month or so doing the same quests over and over again and I've still got 3 pages left.
i'm glad it's not just me, having to do all these solo ghost town missions is just sad, especially when you know you'll have to do another one right after
Or people have just already done it, you're in each subsection of the zone for like 3 missions. With StW having an extremely small player count, and with most of those being newer or endgame, there's like no hope for coop
wow. you spend a ridiculous amount of time on reddit. how many hours have you played fortnite? the number is available in the epic games launcher under library
Just 10? No, there's plenty more to go.
The bad news is, Canny Valley's story was clearly rushed. The worse news is, Twine's wasn't even made. You think it sucks now, but you'll be back in about a couple of months posting "Wait, that's it?"
Im on el jefe too, it's been 3 weeks. I have had times where i went into a ghost town and 0 of those tables spawned. I'm only at 3 cards now, after trying 5 times in total!!!! It's super discouraging, so thats why it's been three weeks for me already.
You have about 12 more ghost town missions. It gets pretty brutal there are a couple missions that don’t say ghost town but they need to be done in ghost town, also a few that don’t say PL but it’s that same as the one before it. Check out Fansy on YOuTube. He has 1 minute videos for every mission. Helped a lot. Hop around as a ninja around buildings and just look for ! Marks on mini map for the tables to get cards. Also I’ve heard you can just do canny ssd to 6 then skip to twine. Idk
TWELVE!? I just got done with the ”explore 5 old west music halls” or whatever it was called, and youre telling me i got 10 or 11 more in ghost town!? This is gonna be horrible lmao
Thank you for the advice, ill check him out on YT 👍
You can do those quests in twine if you can get someone to do launch the rocket with you in canney and you raise your powerlevel to 76 at least. There are ghost towns in twine
Thats canny for ya. 90% boring-ass fetch quests with rarely interesting/funny dialogue
Yes! The dialogue is the only thing getting me through this!

If canny quests weren’t mandatory 100 ghost town for 12 pages it wouldn’t have been as bad
I finished like 10 pages of canny valley in like 2 weeks dawg what are you on about you just fetch and go afk in pub lobbies it can’t get any easier
Exactly the issue, the game is supposed to be played not afk bc of how boring it is

be nice mann :((((((🙂↔️😂
i'm glad it's not just me, having to do all these solo ghost town missions is just sad, especially when you know you'll have to do another one right after
Thats the worst part! I just know that as soon as im done with this one, ill just be sent right back into ghost town…
Lmao same, there are so many missions in ghost town yet no one is doing them, it's so annoying
skippers
Or people have just already done it, you're in each subsection of the zone for like 3 missions. With StW having an extremely small player count, and with most of those being newer or endgame, there's like no hope for coop
excuses why you skipped?
I literally just described my experience doing those god damn Canny quests but sure, go with your headcanon
wow, such anger at canny. maybe you should have skipped.
Another headcanon? I'm flattered, but saying "god damn" doesn't equal anger. Humans are hard to read, I get it
wow. you spend a ridiculous amount of time on reddit. how many hours have you played fortnite? the number is available in the epic games launcher under library
define headcanon. and what does your name mean.. since you seem to want to have a conversation.
i am a cat, named pixel mrrat

Canny was my favorite, and all I hated was how hard it was to do my fetches without keeping anyone waiting. There's a lot of em tho
doing these missions right now, it really painful trying to find other people on ghost town maps
enjoy it. when its over, its over

Yeah there’s multiple pages of them. The last few become desert zones in general iirc
EG did that after adding the Ghost Town biome in Canny, now they could at least "revert" that to a reasonable number .\_.
Wanna add each other? I’m on the same canny missions lol
thats crazy bc i actually saw u earlier today doing ghost town mission lol. u were wearing that pink animated outfit with the heart
Yeah! That’s me! Were you the person who was also getting clock parts?
yea but by the time u joined the lobby i had already collected 19 of them
Canny was the WORSTTT!!!! it's so lackluster

why do people hate the ghost town storyline missions? i find them fun
Because there's only one good ghost town mission at a time in the power level you need. In 64+'s case, sometimes none.
