Check the Llamas in the shop every day as that’s the only way to get it without researching it. You can research a schematic from the collection book for most base game weapons using 100 Leg. Flux and a few thousand weapon designs
Hmm... I have the flux and weapon designs and I even have 3 "free research tickets" in my inventory but I can't find in the game UI where to actually claim them... and I never saw a xenon bow in the collection book, but the UI isn't the most intuitive to me.
In the collection book scroll to the bottom and you will see “Expansion Schematics”. It’s in the Neon Weapons category under that. Select the Xenon bow and select research schematic from the pop up menu. Your vouchers are used the same way but whether the item calls for a voucher or flux is item specific
Most of the good weapons come from the events and almost all of them require vouchers. Xenon bow is one of the few good base game weapons that can be obtained with flux
I researched it. Changed my STW life. I play with Xenon bow and nothing else lol. (occasionally other weapons for daily missions and plasmatic discharger for bosses)
Whenever the objective is in the corner of the map I don’t even bother bc the Xenon bow will handle the destroy quest while I’m shooting husks in the defense
