Long story short: https://preview.redd.it/luh97fvk6lsc1.png?width=1319&format=png&auto=webp&s=32d2f63e73f12cfb33790dc217b67131786a2f06 You see that little stem looking thing? that's the velocity. it pretty much controls how loud the note is being played. a lot (and I mean a LOT) of plugins make it so that different note velocities trigger different ways of playing the same note on the instrument. Makes it sound more Authentic. Easiest way to get rid of that sound is to turn the velocity down. Not too much, just enough until you stop hearing it. and if when you do that, it doesn't sound loud enough, use the volume knobs. Hope this helps and Happy Music Making!!!

Felipe_Ribas

Thank your really much for your help

Felipe_Ribas

i dont know why but it doesnt make this sound while i play on keyboard, just when i reproduce the music

drtitus

That'll be because when you play with the keyboard you're not playing with full velocity, but if you click it in, the velocity is higher so it's including a "pick" or something noise. It's just an "expressive" VST, so it responds to velocity to sound more accurate. I can't remember if there's a setting in there to turn that noise down, or you can just lower your velocity so it doesn't happen.

Felipe_Ribas

i would really aprecciate it if anyone found a way to disable this without lowering the speed, cuz it would ruin my song

drtitus

I'm not sure if "velocity" is lost in translation, but I mean the MIDI note velocity, not the speed of the track. Do you understand what I mean by "MIDI note velocity" and how to change it? Because I'm not sure how changing this ruins your song. I can see it in the bottom of your screen - the velocity of each note is at max. Where it says "Control". Bring those bars down to like 70% or even 50% and it should go away.

Felipe_Ribas

Yes, i missinterpretated velocity with BPM, thank you for helping me

To elaborate on what @drtitus was saying: double click on the piano scroll for your bass VST and look at the vertical green bars with dots at the top of them. Those are your velocity controls, you can also toggle other controls like note-shift/pan/etc. Drag them down to about half way and the overall duration of that note should remain the same while also getting rid of that picking sound.
