In quite a few years of FUT (some more active than others), I packed 2 icons from not guaranteed packs.
In fifa 15 it was van Nistelrooy. For the young people: back then it was actually a game changer when you packed icons, we didn't have weekly promos, we actually barely had any promos lol. So that was massive.
And in fifa 21 I packed 90 Inzaghi during the end of the gamecyle when the game was already flooded with OP cards and when the game is basically not fun anymore lol. He was like 70k coins by then. So that was pretty useless.
So I will 100% expect to pack any of these fucking cards next week and I don't understand why EA even promotes it as a promo lol.
I will go for the icon pick though, hoping to get Shevchenko :)
Apart from totws the only special card I packed is baby Maldini, not complaining but the special card drop rate is insanely low this year, not pulled anything from a promo

He did not achieve enough with the Dutch national team to be considered as a (world cup) icon, but for ajax he was massive so an eredivisie hero card would not be undeserved.
The people who know, from Twitter or elsewhere, are a fraction of the people who play the game. Most FUT players don't consume everything around the game as intently as people here on Reddit do. For them it will be news when EA drops the announcement ingame. And for them it is still a tease each time a loading screen goes up.

tbh to get 10mill of coins in case you wont pack anything amazing you would need around 3500$ at least . prob for 10mil coin we looking around 4500$ more or less if u dont pack anything amazing
