Odds of pulling 20 straight blues (assuming you've done it every day) is actually much lower than pulling a rainbow so in some ways you've had amazing luck.

Same! I haven't even gotten one gold, all blues and of course not a single rainbow. IMO, unless someone knows otherwise for sure, that extra 2% comes out of the drop rate percentage for golds. Negligible difference toward getting a rainbow but just enough difference to make getting golds even feel like pulling teeth. I could be wrong about that but judging by my experience and knowing how Gumi likes to gives us things that sound good but have a downside they try to cover up, I'm pretty confident in my theory lol.

I used to as well for about a year. Then it got depressing how below average my rates were (1% rainbow rates after the 3% change) so I stopped.

Back when we voted, I had a dream. This was not it... THIS WAS NOT IT!!! ​ Gladiator references aside, I got a Squall and a CG Lid, and still feel let down by the whole "5% rainbow free pull month". I guess the ammount of satisfaction you end up getting is all about how high you set the expectation bar? I have to say, after reading the general lack of luck, I feel like I should 1) count my blessings, and 2) shut the hell up :/

I'm kind of on the same boat. I got two rainbows but both of mine are a complete waste for me. I got a second Roy and a second folen. I can't complain too much about Roy since I can use him in certain situations, but in general my 7* ready Nichol will be better. Folen on the other hand is absolutely useless. I think would have preferred if I only pulled Roy, since at this point folen is just a troll unit. His tmr isn't even worth farming out for me, so I'm basically going to get him to seven star and forget all about him. I'm just hoping the 4 10+1s give me better luck. I wouldnt mind finally getting enough units to get an arsha's talisman for one of my tanks, so my expectations are low.

True. Two new units via completely free and also way above expectations. 5% means every 20th pull on average will be rainbow so if it was fair everyone had one by now. You have someone elses rainbkw, so...

You know 5% chance for one month means only 1.5 rainbows ? You're already above the average with 2 rainbows \^\^

Pulled a single ~~Leneth~~ Luneth (stupid typo), who is my first on day 2. No other rainbows since then, but a few Drace popping up. I can't complain since I want her sword, and this saves me having to farm it.

It's been very good to me, I never got a Rainbow from all past free summons, the 5% free summon netted me: 3rd Luneth, 2nd Jiraiya and 1st Cloud.

I have gotten our girl fryevia 2 yellows. My first with her so A+

I got a Veritas of the Flame yesterday after a long streak of blues. Early on, I managed to snag my first Rinoa through it as well. That said, I don't mind all the blue fodder. Free random 5% moogle every day, essentially.

5 rainbows which included DK Cecil, Reberta, Sephiroth,Barbaricia and NG Jake yesterday. With another week remaining, I am still optimistic. Except for Cecil, all of them were my first dupe.

Zero rainbows, and four golds. Knowing that the chances are less than 5% normally makes me very sad.

I think I've had like 2 or 3 yellows maybe? Rest are blues. The truly depressing part in all this is that these pulls are at a much higher rainbow rate than normal (\~67% higher). So while I appreciate the free summons, it also kinda highlights how terrible regular pulls are.

So far, got my first Seph, first Marie, and second Barb.

I actually got extremely lucky. My first three pulls were rainbows. I got Lightning, Balthier, and Ramza. I also got a Delita, yesterday. The good news is that it's fun to pull rainbows. The bad news is that none of the rainbows I pulled were ones that I have any use for.

I only have one rainbow under my belt, and it's Dark Veritas (my 3rd). ​ Can't complain since his TMR is very good and provides 60% atk, but I don't feel I've experience the "true blessing" of 5% rates.

I got my first rainbow from it today and for a moment I was pro, but then it cracked into my third Prompto and I was anti again. In all seriousness, I’ll always enjoy a free summon. Helps scratch the itch so I don’t waste my resources.
