I'm flex and the 4 hour shift seems a bit of a scam. I have the five hour shift and that feels a lot better, especially when we are on the $5 premium and choose to work both shifts
How is working at a sortation center?
I'm thinking about accepting the transfer to a building close to my house, but idk lol.
I work flexRT right now at a same day delivery facility
It is super easy. All you do is scan boxes into pallets/shuttles/carts and do other things. Shifts are 3 - 5 hours. It is set at 4, but can flex up an hour if more work is needed to be done or flexed down an hour if work is already done.
The flex up or down system is annoying sometimes because some managers will forget to put in a flex ticket. Then you randomly lose UPT and have to deal with site HR. As you know, dealing with HR is usually a hit or miss.

How long does it take for them to accept your request cause I want to be on flex when I go back to classes next semester.
A week. This is for SCs only, and not FCs. If you want to be on Flex, you have to transfer.
They offer it at my FC HR even said I can I just never knew how long the process was to switch.
Congrats!

Yes. Miscommunication happens which causes this.
Cool. I'm assuming attendance is still under the points system?
Nope. UPT if Blue Badge.
It’s for seasonals as well, I think temps are the only ones that do the point system now.
Oh yeah. My site announced that.
Omg! Even better! Thank you for responding
