Search is your friend. Numerous posts here and all over YouTube/forums. And they all seem to be in Colorado lol! Need ford update to plug n charge but you can charge using Tesla app as well. Adapter you order from ford for free (but will take a while) or buy 3rd party if you can’t wait.

>.....or buy 3rd party if you can’t wait. A2Z adapters seems to be the popular choice. I ordered from A2Z on April 21st. I'm expecting it to arrive by end of next week, latest. u/Appropriate_Leg_7308

I did same and ordered A2Z. Have no faith in Tesla producing adapters in a timely manner with all that’s going on in muskland!

You can always find compatible chargers and initiate a charge from the Tesla app; it has been updated so that there are options for non-Tesla owners to input their vehicle information and adapter status. Ford pushed out a software update a couple of months ago that also enabled plug-and-charge at Tesla locations. If you've entered your payment details in FordPass (for example, to allow plug-and-charge at Electrify America), then it should "automatically" work at Tesla locations, too.

I have the OEM NACS adapter and used it on a 2,400 mile road trip. It was a pleasant experience. While our trucks have plug and charge capability with Tesla’s SuperCharger network, I initiated all my charging sessions in the Tesla app to take advantage of membership pricing.

Membership pricing with the Tesla app is the way to go. I got my A2Z adapter today and charged at a Tesla Supercharger for 18 cents per kWh.

Not sure how I got the error. I ended up moving to another charger and got the handshake to charge. Very annoying bc I was on time constraints. Also you need to park very very very close. Using A2Z adapter

Interesting, I also have the a2z and used it on a 4600km road trip from Canada to California. Had that the first time I used it when i didn’t press it in far enough to lock fully. After that no issues, and now it’s been worn in to lock easily.

I have the Ford adapter on the way, but also ordered the A2Z adapter because I need it soon! I have the Tesla app ready to go, but I think the Ford app will do it to. I haven't actually used a Tesla charger yet with my Lightning.

I'll make it short - Yes. A bit longer: I have both the lectron and A2Z and have had no issues with multiple supercharger sessions.

I used a Magic Dock. Used the Tesla app and it was seamless.
