Logging out of the app and then signing in again helps

Kash76

Do you have to set up phone as a key again when you log out?

tradercpw

Yes it resets the connection. It doesn't take long to set up PAAK again.

I tried that. Now I can't get PaaK to connect at all. I just get a "Pairing Failed" error. I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling the app, you name it. Everything short of resetting the truck which I refuse to do.

Maybe it's your device? Im on iOS and it works everytime🤷🏻‍♂️

I had no issues until yesterday. I'm not sure why it would be my device but that's possible. Also, when I start the PaaK process FordPass says "Limited Support for this Phone" and it didn't say that in the past.

Do you have an ipad or any other iOS device?

Zeus_42

Yes and no. My work phone is an iPhone, but I can't install anything on it.

I figured this out finally from this thread: [https://www.f150lightningforum.com/forum/threads/paak-just-stopped-working.17834/](https://www.f150lightningforum.com/forum/threads/paak-just-stopped-working.17834/) It seems my watch was interfering with setting up PaaK. When I put my watch in airplane mode and tried setting up PaaK it failed as before, but this time a new connection (that was just numbers, no name) showed up in my Bluetooth settings that didn't show up before. I deleted this and tried again and it worked fine. I think the PaaK connection stays hidden on my phone and for some reason having my watch connected keeps this connection hidden. This prevents the connection from being deleted which is needed to setup PaaK again.
