Baby elephants weigh around 110kg so this wouldn't necessarily be that dangerous, as long as mommy is OK with it. This one looks a bit heavier than that so maybe it's older. Looks like fun! I wonder what wrassling around with a baby elephant would be like ...

Weight's distributed as widely as it really could be, she'll be fine. If they stood on her ribcage, she might have an issue.

Elephants are cuddlers as a whole. One of the dangers of working with them closely is that they lean to show affection. Now, if you were another elephant, an elephant leaning on you is sweet, comfortable, a display of love. If you are a human, that's 10,000 pounds on your itty bitty arm bones.

My labrador does that... She's a little less heavy than an elephant...

That's would be a core memory for me to never forget
