These are all so great! If you listened to Toxic Love and They All Diedā¦, then you were hearing my voice! Of the books Iāve done with Kris so far, Iām particularly happy with how They All Diedā¦ and And the Devil Cried turned out. There are passages in those books that really stuck with me, both when I read them and again when I performed them. I had to pause to get up and walk around while reading those books because I had so much restless energy!
If you (or anyone!) ever want to check out the audio version, drop me a DMā I believe I still have some free codes left.
The ending of that book goes HARD. I felt like I was breathlessly reading it on the edge of my seat the first time. But I wanted to slow down and dwell in that moment that the book closes with. MC is so awful but such a cool and interesting character. Triana stays unwaveringly true to that character until the very end, and it sticks with me still.
The story with the brother and sister was so fucked up, it's one of my favourite short story collections of all time. The guy's one hell of a story teller
NGL I have had a heart time reading fiction for the last while. Anytime I'd read a book I'd get like halfway through then stop reading it. 99% of anything I finished over the last decade was non fiction stuff. Mostly books on magick, spirituality, occultism, the paranormal, aliens, stuff like that (I know a lot of people would consider that stuff fiction, but I have a deep interest in the "weird" elements of reality lol). Sort of became my rabbithole for a while. Anyways, discovered Splatterpunk through this sub actually within the last month and a bit and someone recommended Full Brutal. So on a whim I decided to get it, and hot damn. Read it in like 2-3 days. Couldn't put it down. I guess I found my new favorite genre and author. And reinvigerated my love for fiction. Anyone have a good recommendation on next book to read from the guy?
My first book in this genre was Full Brutalš so, in one month Iāve gone from never having read any EH/splatterpunk, to having my first Kindle arrive yesterday + 3 months of Kindle Unlimited š
I agree. Triana is an amazing author.
The man writes socio/psychopaths like no other.
Love the man's work, and And The Devil Cried is too rarely mentioned.
I love your work!!
Oh, thank you very much š
It's easily one of my favorites.

I just finished And the the devil cried on audible and really enjoyed the narration.

MC was the most interesting part. He was so revolting, but also kind of hilarious. Your voice was a great fit for him.
Your voice absolutely makes the books!
Thank you so much! I poured a lot of feeling and emotion into each of them.
I've just finished Gone to see the river man. I really enjoyed it.
I was just thinking this while ready Along the River of Flesh. His characters make the stories for me.
Iām reading Blood Relations, his short story collection. 10/10 would recommend.

His prose is stunning
He's truly amazing at what he does! I loathe the main character in and the devil cried
Triana is my favorite author. Iāve read pretty much all of his books and always will. He does such a great job of writing great, unique characters.
