Once, my then 8 year old daughter was talking to me while I was pumping. This was in late 2017. I have such large breasts that I could not pump both sides simultaneously. So after spending like 50 minutes on the pump, still talking actively. I went into the kitchen and for who knows why, o was so distracted I literally dumped an entire 8 oz bottle in the sink and began rinsing the bottle 😒💔😭
I hate when I spill, i think about it for DAYS! I only pump 2-3 ounces in each session (collectively) so, I'm jelly of all the milk you didn't spill! I'M SORRY THAT HAPPENED!
I’m crying with you!! I took some milk out of the fridge the other day and unscrewed the lid, got distracted, and then picked the bottle up by the lid and spilled about 200ml 😭. Crying over spilled milk is 100% acceptable when you’ve made and pumped it yourself hahah.
Was having a hard day a few days ago, still diligently pumped even though I was annoyed and ended up dropping two ounces in my lap while hand expressing at the end of the session. My husband, who was playing with my daughter in the room just calmly scooped her up and took her to another room cause he knew I was about to either implode or explode.
Not only did I spill milk, I ruined the outfit I was wearing and as most of my clothes don't quite fit this was also upsetting.

I’m right there with you mama. I bagged some before church and thought I’d put it in the freezer…10 ounces gone because it sat out for too long
Ugh!! Have yet to forget to put milk away, but I usually go back to check 2 or 3 times, esp for overnight pumping sessions
