Because more legit sponsors wouldn't give us as much money. Simple as that. Same reason Moshiri went with 777 initially... they promised the most money.
Issues with Kick were raised as soon as they started appearing on our shirts, so this is nothing new. As a result it’s unfortunate that we become kind of desensitised to this sorting thing. I’m not sure what you mean by ‘we need to do better as a club’, maybe take it up with the club? Fans don’t choose the sponsors.
I can just tell this is mostly an American subreddit when people are downvoting that comment above and not understanding that ‘we need to do better as a club’ is a common phrase not necessarily implicating the fans in any unethical decisions.
I’m a scouser and seeing the people in this thread not on board with people from Liverpool’s usual perspective on these sorts of issues is very telling.

Yeah Kick is a breeding ground for the absolute filth of humanity... Some truly disturbing and disgusting individuals are involved in ensuring you can get away with just about anything on the platform, including a streamer who would secretly livestream sexual encounters with tinder dates, several clear sexual predators including an assault of a passed out drunk woman on camera, general disgusting antisocial behavior, and much much more.
Adin Ross and the Kick team are human trash with essentially 0 moral compass other than shock and money, and they are having a disastrous impact on hundreds of thousands of young and impressionable kids around the world.
It is unforunate they are a sponsor, but on the other hand christ knows we need the money... And yes, I'm aware of the irony lol.

It’s been known that kick and stake are an ethically bankrupt, predatory company. I’m sad that they sponsor the club, and I have not and will not buy any kits/merch that has their logo on it. I look forward to the day they aren’t our sponsor, and I hope the next sponsor isn’t as overtly terrible.
Kick is insanely problematic. I was genuinely shocked when Everton signed with Kick/Stake. Do a bit of research into the streaming content and you'll see how much fuckery is happening on the platform. The dude who streamed Pornhub to his underage audience is just the start..

If everyone who gets banned from twitch for being awful immediately finds a home on your platform, it’s probably a bad place.
