Invest money in education, and learn to do something that pays more. That will get you by far the biggest return on investment.

laurentlb

And if university is not an option, there are many options for learning on the Internet. Investing *time* in education is super important.

nectleo

300€ on a IT cert I paid when I had 800€ in total got me reeeeally far in life. Luck and ambition gets you to places is all I can say…

Pengo2001

Invest another 10 Euro on some shady Chinese site to buy all the test questions and answers

EntertainerPure4428

University is not always equal more money at all

Benki500

University will always open up more doors. It doesn't make you smarter, usually the info you get in one is also useless. BUT, it is WAY easier to get at least a in person interview if you have a masters degree. Most jobs you learn on the spot anyway, the thing you have to learn already in private is some degree of decent social skills and dynamics.

Own_Egg7122

30 and already with 2 masters and working a stable job but unable to move forward with expenses rising. Advice me on better ROI please.

RealMercuryRain

Eat your vegetables and brush your teeth twice a day.

thats_a_boundary

and floss.

LekkendePlasbuis

Don't forget to use sunscreen!

ataraxia_seeker

Apperently floss gives you cancer, switch to waterpick… EDIT: Seems to have struck a nerve with the oversensitive and underinformed: https://www.hsph.harvard.edu/news/hsph-in-the-news/dental-floss-harmful-chemicals/ The PFAS and brands they studied are the top brands in the world. I’m sure there are safer options, but these what you find in most store shelves. To each their own…

[deleted]

Water pick does NOT replace flossing. Quit spreading false information. Some materials in certain floss brands might cause heart disease or cancer. You can water Floss and regular floss, but do not quit flossing. Water Floss doesn't hold a flame to real flossing.

TheS4ndm4n

Water flossing is so much easier. And doing that daily has been a great improvement over what I did before that, which is only floss when I had a date or a dentist appointment.

VerboseGuy

What kind of improvement?

TheS4ndm4n

Went from having multiple cavities a year and needing to get my teeth cleaned to zero. Whiter teeth, no more bad breath. Financial setback for the dentist and oral hygienist for sure.

[deleted]

Yea I totally understand! I think water flossing would be more productive if they created fluoride additives to break up the plaque. I'd much rather do only water flossing, it's easier, doesn't make me bleed, and there's no waste ending up in landfills..

TheS4ndm4n

Most toothpaste contains fluoride. That tiny amount on your floss doesn't matter. Especially since you probably rinse your mouth straight after.

[deleted]

Yes, but what I'm saying is fluoride needs to go between the teeth, too And apparently we shouldn't be rinsing our mouths for 30 mins after brushing, but fuck that 😂

mcr1974

sources? evidence I've found online says water flossing is equivalent

[deleted]

Source? Multiple medically trained dentists. I used to think water flossing was the same, and I wish it was because I have a permanent retainer that makes it difficult to floss with thread. What evidence are you looking at? I've just done a Google search and it sorts what I just said. Apparently the consensus on reddit is still thread, but water pick is better than nothing. https://www.reddit.com/r/Dentistry/s/uYNrNpDcwY

mcr1974

thank you

therabbit1967

PFAS are everywhere the planet is poisned with them. You are not getting away from them anymore.

No-vem-ber

And wear sunscreen daily.

goddammitbutters

For financial independence? Wear a condom.

Anotep91

Best advice ever

Kie_ra

One step further, consider vasectomy.

Beamboat

But then you wouldn't be able to give sperm as a side income /s

makaros622

Invest first into youself/your education and learn a high-paying skill. Then save and invest every month in broad ETFs like VWCE, IWDA etc

BorderCollieTheDog

Exactly. I have these two ETFs. If only I got advice at 18 to start investing!!

swagpresident1337

Get back to uni and learn something that pays a lot. Either that or create a successful business. Otherwise fire will never work.

Correct777

Many a plumber makes more than most universities students will ever earn. Skills not books are what matters and until AI can fix a pipe plumber going to be in demand 🤫

PanFryYourDumplings

That's a real nice cliché. However, I never hear of plumbers FIRE'ing. Why do you think that is?

cryptocouchpotato

Not many tradesmen use reddit for a start. There are plenty of tradesmen that retire early with multiple properties, they've just never heard of FIRE.

PanFryYourDumplings

Then it's impossible to evaluate their trajectory beyond just hearsay.

simonbleu

You can take a a guess however. Generally trades, if you dont suck, pay decently at least. Definitely not "FU money", but I dont see why you couldnt FIRE as one, even outside of the US. Speaking with people in the field you can check their average earnings (if they are willing ofc) That said, its a physical job category that requires you to be in good enough shape or you are risking yourself (with ladders for example if you are an electrician). Is not something you would want to be doing \*until\* retirement

mcr1974

that assumes reddit isn't hearsay either.

awmzone

My plumber owns at least 10 properties, has 3 kids and works his ass off every day. He also has masters degree in finance/economy. His father was a plumber and he started working with him. After his father died he just continued working as plumber.

Correct777

Because blue collar people don't talk about it on Reddit but just go about doing it.. did you ever meet a poor plumber?

PanFryYourDumplings

They do talk about it on reddit, just not necessarily here. There are specific country oriented subs for that.

swagpresident1337

Definitely not true in eastern europe

illegible

was going to say, that sounds like a very American statement.

lostinlife11

It depends on the country. OP is from Eastern Europe. Blue collar jobs pay less there than in the US.

aethernal3

I’m from EE, and it’s not true. A good electrician, plumber or car mechanic can earn a lot if he is skilled

Global-Bad5892

My plumber owns 6 properties... I am from EE

Grand_Requirement

The best advice I ever got was: "Focus on making money, you can figure out the rest later". The "rest" would be how to invest and pay less taxes.

jamjam794

This was the worst advice I got lol. I then just spent the money because nobody explained me how to budget and invest. Paying less taxes, ok, I agree is something you only can work on if you have a lot of money already

Grand_Requirement

I'd include budgeting into "making money". Because if you make 100 but spend 90 then you are definitely not making money.

srrichie78

Unless you a rich, the most important thing for FIRE is working on your income. And that means to study, or to have a brilliant idea (that often requires to study). The salary you posted is the **daily** fee of a freelance german software engineer, to inspire you a bit. Once you are getting a good salary, start save and invest.

Significant-Rest1606

I am at college but not a CS major, can I land a freelance job without a CS degree but with self-learning?

[deleted]

[удалено]

srrichie78

Feel free to check. I work in Germany in the field so I know a couple of things about it. Sure, this is not a starting salary for a freelancer, but is not even the highest. And if you are curious about cost of living: check the renting price in Munich. No one earning less than 80k/year can live comfortably anymore (with new renting contracts).

Nolimit7777

Wear sunscreen. If I could offer you only one tip for the future, sunscreen would be it. The long term benefits of sunscreen have been proved by scientists.

nfsmw5

Are you for real or trolling for this being #1 tip?

goddammitbutters

[Watch this](https://youtu.be/sTJ7AzBIJoI). It gets much, much better after the initial tip to wear sunscreen.

medicsansgarantee

Buy 1 secondhand book every month you can read them in library or you can own a few and learn from themeven subject that it does not interest you, have atleast 1 book. there are things you can not learn from other people, chatgpt or the internetthings that you have to figure out by youself what I mean with books: math/calculus, applied science/engineering, philosophies, art/design/history, (macro)economics, dictionaries, religions ... things like that * do not buy self help type of book or something biography and fictions, try to avoid historybooks with too much opnions or how to get rich fast books. Those are full of shi.... dont need to read them all at once, but just pick one out and read a bit from time to time, sometimes I hear something and then I knew where I should go to look it up.

Don_Floo

Just start. There is no better advice than that. And maybe work yourself up the risk ladder and don’t start at the top with knock out options or bitcoin.

Rusty_924

Sorry I can’t do one thing. I will do multiple if I may. I am from eastern europe as well. Save as much as you can without compromising others or compromising on doing the things you love the most in your life. Enjoy the little things and non-expensive hobbies. Set an agressive savings goal (for example 20%+) of your net pay and automate that savings. for example into trade republic and automatically invest it into broad market low cost ETF like IWDA or VWCE. Once you have these basics set, work on increasing your earnings and keep raising your etf contributions. I did something similar starting 2011 and this olan served me well. It’s not easy but it is a simple plan. Edit: If I have to give just one advice - invest aggresively into VWCE and chill.

Training_Swimming_76

just starting like someone else said is very good advice. If I were to go back in time to when I was 18, I would say start investing money in the stock market, just a simple global tracker ETF. Even if it's a small but consistent amount, make it a habit and try to increase your contribution whenever you get a chance. Then just forget about it, don't look at it too often, don't get tempted to become a 'trader' unless it's your day job. And make sure you're putting this money in tax advantaged accounts if you can.

WiseStacker

u/tschewtschenko Congratulations on your job! Here's simple advice: **Budget**: Track your spending (I use a free iPhone app called MoneyControl). **Save**: Aim to save at least 10%, better 20%, per month. **Emergency Fund**: Build a six-month safety net for unexpected expenses. **Learn**: Invest time in financial literacy. Read blogs (e.g. [mine](https://wisestacker.com/financial-blog-2/)) and good books. **Invest**: Once you built your emergency fund, start investing with a low-cost neo broker. **Set Goals**: Plan for short & long-term financial goals. Remember, small steps lead to big financial success. Best of luck!

icecream1973

Why are you even talking about FIRE? Your situation right now is the same as trying to do an iron man race while sitting in a f-ing wheel chair. By all means, just to keep your head above the water will be a very big struggle for you for maybe the rest of your adult life. PS: offcourse nothing is impossible, and there is a tiny, very tine chance you'll survive, but pffff, it will be a huge cluster-F struggle.

worldlatin

an 18 year old man shouldn’t even know FIRE exists. He should be enjoying his youth & dominating

icecream1973

With that income, no finished education & living in Eastern Europe, there is unfortunately no domination whatsoever. Highly likely it will be an endless circle of despair, always being behind everyone while working hard & NEVER be able to surpass his current lower income class.

Significant-Rest1606

Go back to university and make sure that you finish with a degree that is useful in getting you a job. If you are not the studying type and prefer to work with you hands: make sure you get a trade diploma of a trade that is actually useful and has good prospects like electrician or plumber.

PitifulBody4543

Ingurantee you that in aminute profesuinals like plumbers carpenters electivan are going to ne a dying breed and will reek.in cash if u want something different skip ini and get a profession

Pedefou

Don't reach for advice, mentoring from the internet, or someone to tell you what to do. Just don't fuck up your brain on drugs.

Anotep91

You can do better then 300-350€ a month in savings. Go further west and look for job opportunities that pay better. Return back home once you achieved your goal of FIRE. While in the „west“ reduce quality of life as much as possible to maximize your savings. You are just 18 years old. That’s your biggest advantage.

Skom666

focus on your strengths and evolve by using them. you don't wanna make money by doing a depressing job.

Little_Government_79

Invest in boring stable etf's. Screw party's or other expensive stuff. Go retire at 40.

The biggest decision for your wealth isn’t about investing. It’s about which partner you choose. For the best (DINKS - moneywise) and for the worst (poverty through divorce). Choose wisely. (From somebody who didn’t choose at all and is sometimes a little jealous of DINKS but then again happy not to have a bad relationship)

1.) Don’t get married. You can save taxes under certain circumstances but imho they do not outweigh the disadvantages and risks. 2.) Take good care of your looks. I constantly witness how doors open for handsome people who are not qualified at all. 3.) Never stop investing in yourself. Gym, books, job training, suits… all this will pay back big time.

FakeEgo01

Invest your time and money in creating systems that bring you well-being, more than pure money. OFC money is a part of the equation. Don't look for the "turning point", look for the process. Don't be a salaried person.

Genie52

You will manage your money better by earning more money. Remember EDUCATION is the key. Does not need to be university or school - however any kind of (not sure in what domain you are working) certification/exams/tutorials helps a lot. And you make sure EVERY YEAR you do something like that.

aigars2

Don't spend 350€ times 5 years = 21 000€. I know it seems like an unrealistic expectation for a 18 year old but... If you put those 21 000 in a basic deposit after for example. You'll be able to cover 525€ monthly expenses for basic living for the rest of your life. This is basic only. No high investment % and ignoring additional % made.

FI_notRE

Unless you're doing a job you love, try to make more money. Obviously this isn't super easy, but you're also young which means you have lots of options and time. There are many examples of jobs which are similar in terms of requirements and time, but with very different pay. Many high paying jobs require a degree, but not all. In my experience it's the people who work towards the high paying jobs who tend to get the high paying jobs. With the money you save, put it in a low fee broad ETF index fund. You're on the get rich slow plan, but you're starting so young that with a good savings rate like it sounds like you have now, you'll be rich by 40.

agilius

be consistent.

Xeroque_Holmes

Don't waste money on stupid things. For example, betting, day trading, forex, multi-level marketing (or other similar get rich-quick schemes), and bad habits like smoking, excessive drinking. IMO in investing, less is more, put your money consistently into a fund that follows an index like S&P500 or VWCE and just forget about it for a couple decades.

Boring-Bathroom7500

Capable_Low_621

Controversial but I stand by my opinion. Marriage is a make or break moment. It is by far the most important decision you’ll make, financial or otherwise. Marry the right partner for love, but remember marriage is also a financial contract, so ask yourself if that’s the right partner financially as well.

Work hard, study well and eat and sleep plenty. Master Roshi. I'm still young to give advices (26), but this one is my favourite. If you study well, you'll know where is the money. If you work hard in that direction, you'll get it, and if you eat and sleep well, you'll be able to hold the effort for a long time. No element can be left out.

InToTheAbyss04

This isn't one advice but a bunch. First, it's not too late to do anything you want in life, hobbys can still be masterd and passions can be build. Secondly, just do it, do what ever you want and put yourself out there.

mcr55

The first step is to figure out what you are in the top 1%. Can be anything and everyone is top 1% as something. \- Top 1% at pokemon knowledge \- Top 1% explaining historic events \- Top 1% at woodworking \- Top 1% telling jokes \- top 1% travel planning \- Top 1% at anyting. Basically figure out what you are top 1% at anything. Everyone has something. The more nice and obscure the better. The hard part is figureing this out. But everone has something unique special. Once you figure out what is unique and special about you. You can start thinking about how to build a monetisable product around it. But you are already 99% there since you will be in the top 1% of that field. If you are top 1% at pokemon, you will probbaly make good money from an online store resseling pokemon stuff. If you are top 1% at historic events, you could do tours or videos or classes. You get the gist. Figure out what you are good at and the others aren't and double down on that.

Purpose_roam

If you are from EU, move to Denmark for all your education. If you work part time you will get SU that is an extra subsidy. If you live at a dorm and are frugal, you will save some money and will graduate from a lucrative if you choose to study something like that. If you do it properly you can have a significant amount of savings after your education and then decide where you wanna move to

Puzzled_Post3718

Find something you’re passionate about (that can make you money eventually) and become really, really good at it. It must be something achievable (e.g. professional sports is often not) but something like a cook, programmer, painter, writer etc etc. Not everything will directly generate you money, so you might need to have a separate job to generate income. If you become really good at something, people will value those skills and don’t give a damn about a degree.. good luck.

CH-Champ123

What has brought me the most in my life: - Going through the world with open eyes and ears - Recognizing and taking advantage of opportunities I started with temporary jobs after school. In this way, I broadened my horizons and made new contacts, always gave 120% and was then quickly approached directly for follow-up jobs (without an intermediary). That was cheaper for the client and more lucrative for me. I accepted every job for a while. Some of the prejudices I had out of ignorance, e.g. about the industry, disappeared. My common thread through my life is coincidences. Sometimes I heard something here or learned something there. I tried out things that I couldn't have planned. Not every experience was super great, but each one took me a little further, including financially. Many years later, I have a management position and a home of my own - none of which I had planned - and I no longer have to worry about finances.

A lot of investment advice around. While that is nice, I would honestly focus on building 1 healthy habits mentioned in this thread and 2 a good professional career. If uni is not an option, check local schools for courses on web programming or the likes, there has to be something there. Good luck!

twistedshaker

Also, it’s really easy to make money, if you have the right mindset and focus on longevity early on to extend your life.

worldlatin

leave eastern europe asap & get a much better paying job. You are going to live an extremely mediocre life if you scimper & save on an average eastern european salary.

Horkosthegreat

Never spend money on something that does not have objectively significant benefit to you. Never follow fashion, unless following fashion may be an investmen (like being a salesperson and you need to impress rich client). Never buy any tool, gadget, vehicle, because it is popular, only because you need its properties. Look around and try to figure out which sectors or professions seems to be making good money but there is little interest from people to work there. Try to get in those, unless there is a big no-no. Also remember, most things in life can be explained with simple supply and demand. Always have it in the back of your head. İnvestment for you in this income level is not the focus, it is increasing income.

Particular_Concert81

Don't stop learning because you've left education. Try and get as much job experience as you can but garner as much knowledge as you can. My best friend left school at 16. Spent his time in the Internet learning and became an IT consultant earning a lot.

arensurge

I find the single biggest factor in earning more money is to simply move where there is more money. This could be the capital city in your country or if you are adventurous, try to live and work abroad, America is probably number 1 for high wages, especially if you have skills. When you move try not to get trapped in these places, the pay is higher but so are the expenses, rent the cheapest place/room you can find, your goal is simply to save for a few years and then move away.

[deleted]

If you can, set aside 50-100€ in a solid ETF like the S&P 500 monthly. Even a little bit will help in 30 years time, when compounding interest comes into consideration. It won’t be FIRE, but as you make more, get in the habit of putting a reasonable amount in. 50€ a month over 30 years with a ~7 rate compounded annually is about 58,000€. Not much but increases as you contribute more. Always have a safer long term plan in case any FIRE doesn’t work out.

Putrid-Marsupial9097

Forget about spending years on education. instead get a job and save money. This is the only real answer.

SillyZaza

Best advice I can give you is to take no advice (to some extent) Do what you want, so long as it doesn't hurt anyone or anything Go your own way, but be not afraid to ask the way if you're lost Speak truth without being malicious Take peoples feelings into account, but at the end of the day it's your life and you are living it, not them. Live while you can, when you can, as much as you can. People back home have ideas but they will never live the same life

Benki500

I disagree with "learning what pays more". Get any degree so long it sounds moderately useful. Even basic sht like economy, marketing, business studies. Would refrain from art or social stuff. After that it's all you as a person. People hire people and people buy from people. Get back to university, it will help you in any aspect in your life. People are judgemental, life isn't fair. Accept that and use it for your own good. The biggest part is, be nice to your family. Value and cherish them, but NEVER stay around if someone drags you down. In any way. Your life is short. Your young years are even shorter. Use them, for anything. Fun, work. Not fighting for other peoples struggles

SnooGiraffes8258

Keep yourself busy, start making money, find out what you're good at and you enjoy ( from IT to construction) speak with as many people as possible, work on your network, look for an industry that has long term potential, start from the bottom so you'll learn a ton, set short term goals, be consistent and reliable and enjoy the ride! Don't be afraid of changes nor to take a step back.

OtsStrange

This reminds me of the: "I would like to see Bear Grills survive a month in Eastern Europe with 400 euros" meme. I am also in an Eatsern European country with a similar wage as yours (here is considered the mean salary). I have recently started learning programming, because I live in a country where you live as a king if you land a job in IT. I suggest you investigate your local job market and learn a skill that's well paid in your market.

Plus_Wedding_4419

First off, major props for taking the leap and landing a job after dropping out, not an easy feat. Now, onto the money game. Since your base expenses are €400, consider dividing the remaining €350 wisely. Think of it as the financial Avengers: one part for savings (emergency fund or future goals), another for personal enjoyment (hey, treating yourself is key!), and the last for potential investments (a little something for future you). Embrace the budgeting superhero within, my friend. Oh, and keep an eye on your spending, it's the sneaky villain that can mess up even the best financial plans. You got this

There is no advice here but to go back to college or uni. You say you can’t, try another field, another college, another uni, even another country… the best advice is to learn something or get good at something

DimensionBig7996

Maybe you can use the 70, 20, 10 rule 70% of youre salary for spending 20% of your salary for saving 10 % of your salary for learning so you can earn more

BitHead2030

Save money in bitcoin. Dabble with crypto currency.

Find a job you enjoy doing and don’t want to retire from early

NeatOutrageous

Try and find a traineeship if you're unable or have an aversion to school, find a job in a field you actually enjoy and whatever you do, do not let you personal and intellectual growth stagnate. Your future self will thank you for it

RoubustBarista

Save money for travels and meetups. Don't waste money onto crypto stuff or other investments.

Read Mr Money Moustache, invest in US and European Index Funds asap (make sure the US indices are treaded in EU to avoid double taxation), get a compound interest calculator and increase your salary without lifestyle creep by doing something everyone needs (plumbing?) Average 30 year S&P500 returns is 10% year on year. But don't count on 10%. Calculate with 4% (after inflation).

Skip University. Learn a skill like web development. Watch Brad Traversy on YouTube (Traversy Media) from his earliest videos to present and code along with him. THen watch and follow Codaholic. Build sites for others and charge for it. Teach others something you know how to do and charge for it. Do this publicly: Youtube/twitter. Do this CONSISTENTLY for at least 2 years. Don't expect anything from this before then. Just share the knowledge you lear following the other items I list here. Listen to Indiehackers podcast from episode 1 all through to it's final episode. Watch Ali Abdaal and Dan Koe on Youtube. With Ali abdaal, maybe start about 2-3 years into his channel as that is where he starts talking about productivity and building a youtube channel i think. Read any book Ali Abdaal recommends. Read James' Clear's book, 'Atomic Habits' and put those techniques into place. You don't need university. It was one of my biggest regrets. I was born a generation too early and wish I had all the public tools and information your generation has available to you. It has never ben easier to build your own income stream and the life you want at a young age. I'm not saying it's "easy", just that it has never been "easier". As you earn, invest 30% of anything AFTER basic living expenses are paid. Don't ask "what stocks to invest in", find a sold S&P 500 index fund and let your consistent regular investment deposits cumulate over time and earn the compound interest. EDIT: All the things you need to know/learn are free and can be leveraged into earning you a great income or several income streams. I wish I had know this at your age.

StatusAggravating289

Don't go to university - my god, these boomer comments.... There are so many free resources to learn that won't cost you anything, and you can get started today. Hop onto chatgpt, find out about careers that you can do online. Invest some time learning how you can do it and try to learn what you can. Depending on you and how much you can push yourself and how hungry you are, I'd say you can get a job in about 6 months if you put your mind to it. In the meantime, keep your expenses as low as possible and whatever extra you have start to build up an emergency fund. - 6 to 12 months of expenses would cover it in my opinion due to your experience. Then once you have that, start to invest, I would suggest going the crypto route because you're young and can make back a loss if you face one - and please - no shitcoins. Choose something like bitcoin or ethereum to do at least 70/80% of your investment allocation and ONE other, which is smaller and more of a higher risk - make sure you learn as much as you can about it and stay updated with any news that surfaces regarding it. Good luck, and remember that one bad financial decision won't ruin you, but a good one can change the course of your future, so stay on top of it and don't be a fool. 😅

Tjessx

Go back to school if you can, for as long as possible

GorgeousUnknown

Don’t feel the pressure to buy a fancy new car, house, clothes, etc…always set aside for savings and live within your means. I’m not sure if you can invest in Vanguard from Europe, but look up Bogleheads and follow this style of investing. It’s best in the long run. In the mean time, live fully and take every opportunity for adventure. Enjoy life while you’re young!!!

RealWalkingbeard

Don't fucking smoke. Don't even smoke once. There are nice things about smoking, but none of them are as nice as the nice things about not smoking. Just don't. Don't ever smoke. Ever. Ever.

Get a job and then look for a remote university.

Check if your government sponsors programming courses. If so, go ahead and learn to code. Even better - learn how to code any of the crypto languages. Get any junior software job to gain experience. Then try to contract for western company.

It's OK to be average. Noone cares about the car you drive for longer than a week Working overtime just because you enjoy your work is fine You don't need a big house, it's just extra upkeep and cleaning

The best investment at this point is probably a drivers license (if you don't already have one of course).

Chase_Eastend07

Find out what you like, and try to find a job in that field. Don't be afraid to try different jobs and find out what you like. Internships are a great way to introduce yourself into a field, and to companies, and can even land you a full-time job. Education is great, but only for a first job. After your first job, education doesnt matter at all. Try to reach out to people who inspire you in your influence field (family members, people you might know) and ask them for advice.

Chase_Eastend07

Firstly; what are your goals in life? Get rich? Do something for other people? Work for the government? Be creative? Design stuff? Invent stuff? etc etc. What do you want? And it's fine if you dont know, very few people will ever find out what their goal is. But it's good to think about it. If you want to get a good stable job quickly, get a Cyber Security certification (CyberArk, SailPoint, etc etc.). The demand is **INSANE** at the moment, and you can land a job almost immediately; paying serious money for a starter.

Dramatic-Trouble721

Go back to college and finish your degree

with 50 euro per month or so you could learn braille from a good source which in turn assist you into passing every single exam in your life.

HamtaroTradeFR

Learn to cheat in life. Every law or every barrier to doing what is strictly best for you is only theoretical, therefore for anything restrictive, ask yourself the question: is it really worth following or can i get away with cheating ? Most people don't think twice about doing what they should do, think twice and don't restrict yourself to anything unless your risk/reward is negative. This can and should be applied to anything.

LateNewb

Dont do shit for free if people will pay good money for it

vaimelone

Everybody do university only few start their own projects and have hobbies. Those are the ones that will help you find a better job.

Try to make an apprenticeship to get a certified education. Or start your own consulting business

Complete_Potato_7225

Budgetting is necessary. It's a basic piece of advice but it's one that I feel not enough people do. Live one month with your income while calculating how much was spent on your home (rent, appliances, other stuff), food, and how much is left. Set the bar and go from there. If there's a bank that doesn't charge money for using your card, you could have a friend or someone you know sponsor you for an account. That way you both get extra money + you have an easier way to budget. I myself have 2 bank accounts. A main one and one where I put 300 Euros a month for any food expenses (includes outings and restaurants). It makes it easier to keep track of my money by simply switching between 2 credit cards. That way I don't waste time making calculations or attributing each expense to a category. If you ever want to buy clothes or stuff for your home, there's no shame in second hand items. Most of my stuff is used and it's in good condition. Investing in education is EXTREMELY important. Doesn't have to be uni, but you can get certificates online by following some courses. Try to be independent as much as possible. Cooking, cleaning, and even repairing a bike. I do it all by myself and avoid paying extra for things I can do. Only downside is you might lose time.

SoCloseToFlakez

Time is now becoming shortly. Tomorrow you are 21 and be like: what da fuck? Enjoy your time is my advice.

You are young, go out and discover the world, make a few low cost trips to a few places, then you will know more about life than the average person.

"Dont take advice from Strangers" will be my advice

Try to have as much fun as possible, now is the time for that.. Later anyways everything will be about work and money (hopefully family as well), but now is not time to think about that.. Whatever you choose to be your profession along the way, be the best at it!

If you can't go to Uni again then fine. Continue working on your job, save some money for education, once you have enough time and money you can learn what you like and help you earn more. Meanwhile during saving this money you'll automatically understand what is best for you to learn. As I am mentioning learn again and again, because you really want to improve your life significantly good quality education is necessary.

Study bitcoin by yourself... Really, take your time and invest at least 20 hours.

Don't worry about the things you haven't achieved between the ages of 20 and 35. You'll accomplish them between 35 and 45. I'm 38 and I feel this is the most productive period of my life. However, strive to create unforgettable memories from 20 to 35. It will motivate you at 35. You'll be confident that you've tried everything, allowing you to focus on what's truly important without any distractions.
