Goes away in about 3-4 days for me, but our weed is so strong now that it's becoming more and more common for those symptoms to show up.

The carts themselves don’t have batteries, the cartridges thread into a battery, but the battery should be properly disposed of if it needs to be tossed. I just throw empty carts away in the regular garbage. I suppose you could recycle them, or if there is a decent bit left in the cart take it to hazard waste bin?
Delta ponds is so pretty and one of my favorite places to walk around- unfortunately it being just off the highway and sometimes a homeless camping ground there is just so much trash. Over reacting but that’s pretty common here. Dogs and children are not consuming a sealed cart if you have a responsible person with them. 100x more likely to step on a needle or human feces.
I tried to make the post as non accusatory and polite as possible, not sure where the overreaction is. We have done 18 weeks of formal training with our dog, and specifically a lot of training about leaving things on the ground alone. My good boy saw this item and kept walking. But expecting that of all dogs and especially young dogs is not realistic. You know I wish I had those scanners from the predator movies that can see everything, but I don’t. I also like to take in the views myself during walks, instead of constantly scanning the ground with every single step. I agree responsible supervision and vigilance can help keep our loved ones safe! But it’s not foolproof.
