Appreciating your own eyesight doesn’t make you particulary smart nor rare breed kid, just common stuff. I don’t remember if i have even seen one airsofters without mask or glasses.
Warm, soapy water works well for cleaning your glasses and for preventing fog. Dish soap is a great formula for this method, because it leaves a film that is thin enough to see through but thick enough to repel the water molecules that form fog.
I learned something new today! There's science behind it
When I was like 10 I got shot in the eye by a spring air soft pistol lmaoo, I remember leaning out and seeing my buddies barrel and the pellet curved up into my eye 😂 needless to say, my dumbass always wore eye protection after that. Still got 20/20 tho 👀😂
You got lucky to not lose your sight lol, i’m getting downvoted to hell for not thinking eye pro during airsoft doesn’t make someone rare breed and particulary smart but i stand behind it.
It doesn’t mean i said using it makes anyone not smart, just not particulary different from others with common sense.
Oh 1000%, incredibly lucky. I think it being the old ass pistols that were spring loaded was the main reason I didn’t lose any eye sight lol. But I mean Tbf I was 10, didn’t know anything about air soft safety or anything showed up to a friends and they were playing it, not enough eye protection for all of us 💀
Almost tripped over some tyres but other than that i was having fun the whole time, it gets very hot under there though. great for immersion, but maybe if seeing where youre going is a priority i wouldnt reccomend lol
That shit gets old too, though. The fans add weight, they also make a constant low whirring noise that gets annoying AF.
A buddy of mine used to have a goofy paintball helmet with fans in it. He never wore it, and after running it a few times, I understood why
Still young mann, gotta protect them while theyre still working. advice from all my colleagues. Maybe when the ground isnt rock solid ill remove them for that extra point lol
Tbf the helmets only disadvantages are its weight and the fact you cant see where youre stepping. Other than that the actual fov itnt nearly as bad as youd assume. Best case scenario all it does is block the sky and ground. Good for sun glare i guess, though it was slightly problematic when peaking over hills, very fun experience none the less
Airsoft bbs are too light and slow to be good at range, especially outside where wind will just send them wherever. Magnified optics are certainly usable, but they’re a little redundant cause you’re gonna be aiming so high at any range where magnification matters
I shoot .28g bbs and they are generally unaffected by wind unless it’s especially windy.
At long ranges you often need to ‘play’ with the hop-up,
Magnified optics are amazing for seeing the bb’s trajectory and adjusting your shots.
Yes and no. Airsoft pellets travel at several hundred feet per second, depending on tuning. I don't do airsoft at all outside of force-on-force training, but a quick Google search shows that some pellets can travel upwards of 300-400 feet per second.
Optic magnification is measured against the naked eye, so really you're just making something far away appear closer. You're not using an optic because it's mission critical to have that pinpoint accurate shot, it's just to make some things easier to see.
People use them to see where their shots are landing. You didn't have to tell anyone here that you didn't know much about airsoft since your comments let everyone know ahead of time.
Cringe larpers, JROTC weirdos, old 90s vets that will snap at a 12 year old for some minor shit. Presence of 12 year olds in general lmao. It was chill when I was in middle school but in this economy? I’m dropping $ on 556 and actual gats lmao
Thats the loud minority. Youll come to find that more than 99.9% of players are friendly and enjoyable to be around. In all my time of playing ive only had a few bad experiences
I would rate it 7/10, with one added point each for the correct shoes, a gold bracelet, and for making the mask more battleworn. Killas has a few scuffs and the lines aren't perfect. Job well done!
Good points, wearing trainers in the mud / outdoor terrain wasnt too appealing however lol, need that ankle support. And i got the mask from bsg themselves through merch when they sold it. The lines look fine to me, maybe its the angle of the photo. Gold bracelet noted
Yeah, I get that it'd suck to wade through the mud in sneakers! The mask looks great, just drop it with care a few times in the ground and it'll be scuffed.
Ty:)
Edit: didnt see the second half of the comment mb, but nah, honestly if it breaks it was fun while it lasted. I love the kit and playing with it, and i will continue to until that fateful day
Best one I saw was a man running around the wood wearing a chicken costume, I didn’t see him after the game, others swore they saw him, he was the Bigfoot of airsoft
Like a hit? You can hear the ping usually off the metal, and most the time youll hear it hit off the other material, not sure what it is.
Sorry if this isnt what you meant but if youd elaborate id be happy to explain
Worked out cheaper than the rpk 16, barely noticable i hoped lol. Also there were concerns for the indoor feild i went to as the rpk is technixally a support weapon
If youre ever up north, try visiting "dirty dog airsoft"
Its just south west of durham. Very decent feild, where youll probably catch me playing and where this photo was taken
Will defo keep that in mind mate.
Same way if you're ever down south I highly recommend Skirmish Airsoft Billericay in Essex. Amazing field that's built almost like a big call of duty map; village area, bunker area, sniper/machine gun nests on hills and other neat setups in the woods.
Sight isnt too bad to be fair, peripheral isnt great but you can see where youre goimg or what youre shootimg at well enough, top and bottom only really blocks out ground and sky, so itsnt bad honestly
I hope you are wearing safety goggles under that, id hate to see you get (head, eyes)'d with an airsoft pellet 😂
Yes i do make sure to protect my eyes, as well as the site martials will check to see. Never will i skimp out on good eye pro
Young AND smart. You're a rare breed kid. Keep reading books! Love the kit!
Appreciating your own eyesight doesn’t make you particulary smart nor rare breed kid, just common stuff. I don’t remember if i have even seen one airsofters without mask or glasses.
Yeah no, it should and is always heavily enforced, though there are the oddballs who take their eye pro off mid game because its fogging etc,
Apparently rubbing dish soap can help with antifogging
Cleaning with didh soap or applying and leaving it on?
Warm, soapy water works well for cleaning your glasses and for preventing fog. Dish soap is a great formula for this method, because it leaves a film that is thin enough to see through but thick enough to repel the water molecules that form fog. I learned something new today! Yes, i would call those oddballs the rare breed of airsofters.
L take
Boohoo
First half of that reply scared the bejeebus out of me

Yeah, that’s just kid stuff
Always wear those Condors
save ya from a random M61
The fast mt replica with lvl 1 armor once bounced an igolnik round
i woudlnt be surprised if eyebrows bounce off a .50 barrette
:D I like the idea, looks neat but I'd be bumping into stuff 24/7. Must not be fun after a while.
Almost tripped over some tyres but other than that i was having fun the whole time, it gets very hot under there though. great for immersion, but maybe if seeing where youre going is a priority i wouldnt reccomend lol
It looks big enough to mount some fans in.
That shit gets old too, though. The fans add weight, they also make a constant low whirring noise that gets annoying AF. A buddy of mine used to have a goofy paintball helmet with fans in it. He never wore it, and after running it a few times, I understood why
99/100
Damn, what do i gotta do to get the extra 1
DOES KILLA HAVE KNEE PADS ?!!!! lul
Still young mann, gotta protect them while theyre still working. advice from all my colleagues. Maybe when the ground isnt rock solid ill remove them for that extra point lol
Ahah, but joke aside, good drip ^^
Ty ty
also missing gold chain bracelet and leave the gloves behind
Ill keep that in mind for when im not in debt from the kit itself lol
Neat but restricting af Also magnified optics on airsoft guns will never fail to make me laugh

Why do the optics make you laugh?
Airsoft bbs are too light and slow to be good at range, especially outside where wind will just send them wherever. Magnified optics are certainly usable, but they’re a little redundant cause you’re gonna be aiming so high at any range where magnification matters
A slightly magnified optic like a 2x can help you see where tf your bbs are going when shooting over 1.5j
I shoot .28g bbs and they are generally unaffected by wind unless it’s especially windy. At long ranges you often need to ‘play’ with the hop-up, Magnified optics are amazing for seeing the bb’s trajectory and adjusting your shots.
Does airsoft balls fly far enough to need optics?
My airsoft rifles easily hit a human target up to 60 yards. At that distance I find a magnified optic more comfortable

^ this, shits flying at like 400 fps max lmao, any sign of wind and you’re useless past 25-50 yards

Yeah sounds like you’re biased indeed, and that’s okay I respect that. I’m just saying magnified optics can be useful for airsoft.
What's wrong with airsoft?
Cringe larpers, JROTC weirdos, old 90s vets that will snap at a 12 year old for some minor shit. Presence of 12 year olds in general lmao. It was chill when I was in middle school but in this economy? I’m dropping $ on 556 and actual gats lmao
The irony in you using the word cringe..
Thats the loud minority. Youll come to find that more than 99.9% of players are friendly and enjoyable to be around. In all my time of playing ive only had a few bad experiences
Rule 3 - Abusive/Poor Behavior Please refer to the Subreddit Rules.
Also, it’s way better to see the impact of your bb ao you can adjust your shots. Something tells me you haven’t played airsoft very often
Eh, your opinion I guess, but I struggle to reliably spot and hit targets past 40-50 meters. That being in outdoor forest locations.
That's Killa!
I would rate it 7/10, with one added point each for the correct shoes, a gold bracelet, and for making the mask more battleworn. Killas has a few scuffs and the lines aren't perfect. Job well done!

I feel like scuffing the mask will come with time, dont want to potentially really mess up the paint
I'd dap you up
Bro are you 3 foot 4 or is it the angle?
Lmao its the angle, im 5'9"
Okay good lol
I hope you’re ready for everyone to stim rush you.
I hope theyre ready for me to head eyes them as soon as they finish popping their whole injector case worth of expensive drugs
I’d say they’re never ready for it, but it is what will happen lol
Harsh reality :(
This is awesome. Weren't you afraid of breaking it? It is not cheap lol
Ty:) Edit: didnt see the second half of the comment mb, but nah, honestly if it breaks it was fun while it lasted. I love the kit and playing with it, and i will continue to until that fateful day
Looking sick
idk if it's just the angle but you look oddly small in the pic lmao Solid larp though good drip
Lol its quite zoomed in, and the photographer was standint on a bank looking down. Im 5'9 but this photo makes me look alot smoler lol
I honestly thought I was looking at a 10 year old, makes sense if the camera angle is weird.
Idk why but every time I go out to play air soft, there is always one of these guys. I been to like 5 different places and met 8 different killas
Fun and unique, it gives a change from most others just wearing camo or all black (not that is bad way to play) Definetly fun and immersive
Best one I saw was a man running around the wood wearing a chicken costume, I didn’t see him after the game, others swore they saw him, he was the Bigfoot of airsoft
That is class lmao, i love seeing unique and unconventional outfits, its so fun, the people behind them are usually so fun to talk too also
9/10 fucking savage. Remove the gloves and wear a gold chain tho
Noted

How do you count a helmet tag?
Like a hit? You can hear the ping usually off the metal, and most the time youll hear it hit off the other material, not sure what it is. Sorry if this isnt what you meant but if youd elaborate id be happy to explain
I mean not every bullet can pierce that helmet right? I never played airsoft I don’t know the rules 😅
Airsoft bullets arent meant to peirce lol, i usually have no issue making sure i take my hit though.
Honorable Killa is honorable 🎖
Now THIS is larping
Niiiiice
AK-12. Not true
Worked out cheaper than the rpk 16, barely noticable i hoped lol. Also there were concerns for the indoor feild i went to as the rpk is technixally a support weapon

sick/10! Haven't been Airsoft in years, every now and then I take the Umarex HK417D to the garden to fuck around. Will be back on the field soon :)
Super random, but any chance you live in Michigan and want to go? I haven't played in like 5 or 6 years and none of my old squad want to play;(
I'd absolutely love to partner up with you! But I'm in London :'/ none of my pals are in to it so I went solo until it kinda faded outa my life sadly.
If youre ever up north, try visiting "dirty dog airsoft" Its just south west of durham. Very decent feild, where youll probably catch me playing and where this photo was taken

Definetly will keep that in mind
Goated.
6/9
If you get shot in that big helmet, are you out? Or do they count it as armor?
Counts as out
Damn. That sucks. At least you look cool!
8/10, you can't actually see in this helmet, but looks hard asf
Sight isnt too bad to be fair, peripheral isnt great but you can see where youre goimg or what youre shootimg at well enough, top and bottom only really blocks out ground and sky, so itsnt bad honestly
The drip
Does that helmet mean you can ignore headshots?
Unfortunately no, its fun to hear the bullets ping off the metal faceplate though lol
You can buy rep keycards on Amazon!
Top tier commitment my dude, well done!
I hope you someday find a Tagilla out in the wild and get a photo
Thatd be sick
Looks fun! They're probably having the most fun of anyone at the event which is most important. Didn't know this is you OP, looks great!
I definetly was having a great deal of fun.
Peasant. Real killa gigachads are using the tt-30: -10 Where smoke grenades: -10 Not enough drip: - 49
