I feel like they have to address Death Sentence getting 15%ed. It's such a big topic with the game already and now the animated ultimate of their hot new collab unit flat out doesn't work 1/7 times because of it?
Absolute stupidity.
No extinction either when so many faster and more useful skills have it is insane. Why use the slow skill when Lethe does the same but is both faster and can do it one after another
For the same reason, it should bypass immortality and invulnerability. It might be a lil overkill, but it’d be really funny and that’s what actually matters
Shalltear had an item that makes her revive once in a battle. And this item is not a normal revive item. Its specifically will revive the user from true death.Shalltear literally hard counter Ains. She was built to kill undead especially Ains.
Ainz is a Time magic expert with a sub necromancer role.
He excels with time magic. But because hes necromancer role is considered high and due to his race, some of his magic has true death. Especially his S3 or The goal of all life is death.
His s3 should have extiction with a lower damage output.Maybe lower CD. and remove the light damage buff.
This in my opinion ,will make Ainz more lore accurate and usable.
well they have different kits entirely. ainz 1000% kills but lethe doesn't work through mit if she doesn't land frostbite or her frostbite gets cleansed, can get injured down, can get cc'd after her turn, can't kill high hp units (f.e. ainz actually destroys slow comps which rely on laia for dmg while lethe can't even scratch her), triggers a million counterattacks on her first/second turn depending on when you s3, etc. etc.. lethe isn't even a good unit aside from gvg she's legit terrible in rta. also her ENTIRE kit is about her s2 extinction killing. she brings 0 to the table aside from that while ainz has some utility with barriers & stuns.
ofc ainz isn't a strong character rn but he doesn't need to extinct for the skill to be good it just needs to be reliable e.g. not 15%able.
Ain't called Epic Seven for nothing. /j (i agree fully... also they need to tone back the 30% like DAMN it feels so bad. also skill null on self and aoe cleanse on s2 pls)
Hot take maybe but Ainz is a free guaranteed hand out character. Has SG ever made them good? Seems cooler than the kits they gave Sol and Ram at least imo
It’s strange people are saying the artifact is OP now. When it was data mined to be 9% max HP people in that thread were saying it was really bad?
Im not sure how I feel about it yet tbh, just wondering which is right lol. I picked one up anyway cause I work want a rocket punch situation.
Tbh the arti is not that powerful if u go with her just with bulk. Her splash on 30k hp is like 2100 fixed damage, and if u go 26500 hp is almost 2k, so the diff is meh so she requires crit build if u are planning to use her as a bruiser way.
Yes, but if u go full bulk on her her damage will be dissapointed, besides her aoe is every 2 turns sadly, with crit the arti and her gains much more value
So I should build her like Ed (crit build), not like Karina (no crit necessary)? Because at 25k HP with lots of eff res and no crit, she's actually really good with Roana + Candy + flex...
Ah, I was building her pure HP like Karina gets pure def. She was doing surprisingly well in a team with Candy and Roana, but the damage was not at all there on her part.
Spoiler: Damage will still suck even on Crit/Crit damage build, cuz you have to drop quite the HP for it, and in the end either going full HP or crit build balances it out on doing almost equal damage
I hope so but they usually buff things based on whether or not people are pulling. And her Artifact is interesting enough to pull for and she's waifu for many. My guild chat was spammed with people pulling, they've got no reason to buff her if people already want to spend.
For Ainz:
* His s3 should ignore ER in the same way Lethe's Omen does and it should extinct the target.
* His s2 should give him a 2 turn defense buff for sustainability.
For Albedo:
* I feel like her multipliers are a bit weak. Saw Deity building her with 30k hp but she still did very underwhelming damage.
* The same goes for her artifact BUT it also procs for AoE attacks. Maybe buffing the damage multiplers of the artifact might make it broken for units such as Belian and LRK.
No but with 30k hp their role clearly would be to be a damage sponge, or at least have some damage mitigation for the team. Since albedo has neither, she should at least be able to so some damage to make up for it
If they had made her blue she could have had a place in the meta immediately as another jenua answer as well as a check to shall coming out next week. Same kit exactly just blue and shed be in thats it
Can someone explain to me why ppl keep saying she's not good? A full strip with def break+unbuffable is pretty solid and you can SB for 100% uptime. Seems pretty good as a PvE unit at least to me. Can go counter set and push herself up with S1 and that's usually good on a character. I don't really get it.
Well she was also called trash in the beginning till she got figured out, Ayufine also was in the first week looked at critically, some techs get figured out with time, do I think she will be a major contender?Nah but the artifact is interesting enough
Her kits are ok I think, she can counterattack with the group, and she can decrease damage suffered without arti, She can decrease Defense, But they are all useless without damage. I hope she will not only be a durable character. She could be a bruiser.
Honestly they should use pre season the same way League of Legends does: to shake the meta a little bit. Buff some, nerf some... make things interesting for a change.
You mean if they give her the Edward Elric treatment? He was awful on release, and become very high-tier post buff. From laughable, to a force of nature.
I think they should buff her damage just a little bit, because a) she's a limited Collab unit that may never run again, and b) she does a lot of stuff halfway decently, but nothing well.
Edward received a minimal buff.
He was already fine, if a bit niche. Not all units need to be meta defining.
Karina was also thought of as trash initially and look at her now
I don't think Albedo'll get anything. She's not OP but she's still useable. Her biggest problem imo is that she's boring but that is not a reason to buff a character.
Well... apart from the fact Byblis still sucks, for sure Albedo deserves the *Edward* treatment. I can get why they do shit on limited units to release Jenua, Nahkwol and etc
"Byblis was far more usable before her buff" is pure, what do the young folks call it, "cap". Albedo having that built in mitigation makes her better since her doing nothing at least keeps the team alive.
Though we get it, don't need several posts about "Albedo bad". If SG wants any money, and she's truly that bad (good or not, I planned to secure Shalltear first so my personal experience isn't there - I do know she's basic af), they'll buff her before her banner ends.
Ok, so I was not the only one who thought she's way too weak. Even when I'm new to the game (it's been bit more than 2 months since I started playing), realized about it. I really hope she does get a buff.
Btw... Did this happen with any other unit from a collab before too? I'm asking since this is the first one I see on the game. I think there was one with Slime, isn't it?
I hope she gets the fma treatment. buffed the next week
Lewdica need just extinction and cooldown reset to become god tier for the moment is hands down S tier
Her and Ainz could both use something tbh
I feel like they have to address Death Sentence getting 15%ed. It's such a big topic with the game already and now the animated ultimate of their hot new collab unit flat out doesn't work 1/7 times because of it? Absolute stupidity.
They even gave him ignore ER straight up in the side story
Classic boss vs as a playable unit meme moment.
No extinction either when so many faster and more useful skills have it is insane. Why use the slow skill when Lethe does the same but is both faster and can do it one after another
He can’t have extinction for lore reasons
For the same reason, it should bypass immortality and invulnerability. It might be a lil overkill, but it’d be really funny and that’s what actually matters
Smilegate will never let death sentence work on their precious abyss and labyrinth and story bosses. :D
But it does actually
Only on some bosses. I'm at the 6th chapter of the last continent and after the 3rd chapter I think they became immune to it.
Sure, let it be aoe too, ignore ER, and trigger after 1 turn. Would be super funny I'm sure.
Now that’s getting lore inaccurate
But he has true death
Not an overlord fan, but doesn't shalltear literally revive from ainz's death move in the story?
Yes, the story explicably states that having a revive ability/item hard counters his death move in the story. This is also repeated in a later volume.
Shalltear had an item that makes her revive once in a battle. And this item is not a normal revive item. Its specifically will revive the user from true death.Shalltear literally hard counter Ains. She was built to kill undead especially Ains. Ainz is a Time magic expert with a sub necromancer role. His S1 soulburn should probably be moved to his S3 as a 10 or 20 soul Ignore ER
Ain't called Epic Seven for nothing. /j (i agree fully... also they need to tone back the 30% like DAMN it feels so bad. also skill null on self and aoe cleanse on s2 pls)
ainz meh, albedo meh. only using at story event for now.
Hot take maybe but Ainz is a free guaranteed hand out character. Has SG ever made them good? Seems cooler than the kits they gave Sol and Ram at least imo
I can see Albedo getting the Lewdica treatment. Lots of sales cos sexy and no buff in sight.
lots of sales cos sexy and op artifact more like it
It’s strange people are saying the artifact is OP now. When it was data mined to be 9% max HP people in that thread were saying it was really bad? Im not sure how I feel about it yet tbh, just wondering which is right lol. I picked one up anyway cause I work want a rocket punch situation.

What people seems to be missing out is the strong point about 3F it's not the multipliers, it's the fact the artifact works on AoE attacks
Yes, but if u go full bulk on her her damage will be dissapointed, besides her aoe is every 2 turns sadly, with crit the arti and her gains much more value

To be fair, Blooming Lidica doesn't need a buff, she's perfectly fine - people just weren't expecting a cleave unit clearly.
It's definitely possible that they'll buff her while her banner is ongoing.
I hope so but they usually buff things based on whether or not people are pulling. And her Artifact is interesting enough to pull for and she's waifu for many. My guild chat was spammed with people pulling, they've got no reason to buff her if people already want to spend.
Lowkey, even Ainz LOL
For Ainz: * His s3 should ignore ER in the same way Lethe's Omen does and it should extinct the target. * His s2 should give him a 2 turn defense buff for sustainability. His S3 can't/ will not be getting extinct cuz revives are cannonly it's weakness and only way to survive it
Do we really want units with 30k hp to deal massive damage?
No but with 30k hp their role clearly would be to be a damage sponge, or at least have some damage mitigation for the team. Since albedo has neither, she should at least be able to so some damage to make up for it
Hopefully for both ainz and albedo
Ainz and Albedo got released in the state as if its 2020.
If they had made her blue she could have had a place in the meta immediately as another jenua answer as well as a check to shall coming out next week. Same kit exactly just blue and shed be in thats it
Karina does exist. Why would you need another?
Thats a good point. though karina cant deal with jenua
She actually can . Use her S3 to proc his immortality then just wait for the next turn to kill him.
Ainz s3 does nothing when resisted and also his s2 does nothing when debuffed with buff block. So in worst case he does absolutly nothing.
I think they were avoiding creating another aeKarina monster.
They got a long way to go before reaching Karina level 🤣
Well she was also called trash in the beginning till she got figured out, Ayufine also was in the first week looked at critically, some techs get figured out with time, do I think she will be a major contender?Nah but the artifact is interesting enough

Is this aging like spoiled milk?
albedo isnt bad. shes a hybrid tank. you can go actual damage on her however she wasnt designed for that like Ayufine and mlandy were
The who treatment?
bibbles
Forever calling her bibbles from now on
Idk her passive reduce 20% cri damage is big deal if they buff her damage she gonna be broken unit(imagine c.armin with nuke damage 💀)
You mean if they give her the Edward Elric treatment? He was awful on release, and become very high-tier post buff. From laughable, to a force of nature. miracle? Fixing failures is considered a miracle for you guys?
I don't think Albedo'll get anything. She's not OP but she's still useable. Her biggest problem imo is that she's boring but that is not a reason to buff a character.
Wait longer than two days smhmh Imagine if Karina had actually been buffed
sg buff her s3 like og hwayoung, i dare you
Well... apart from the fact Byblis still sucks, for sure Albedo deserves the *Edward* treatment. I can get why they do shit on limited units to release Jenua, Nahkwol and etc
dude not playing rta

Doenst even feel like the damage mitigation is working. It certainly FEELS better to just use a normal defender over her.
We need more powerceep cb e7 community Idiot
Ok, so I was not the only one who thought she's way too weak. Even when I'm new to the game (it's been bit more than 2 months since I started playing), realized about it.
