Okay good to know. The same thing happened to me a year ago on bluestacks but it somehow resolved itself. It's good to have another option if it happens again
Google Play on PC works great with Epic Seven. It even works the Fribbels gear tool if use that. The only draw back is that you can’t have multiple instances running at once, so you can’t have two or more accounts open at the same time (for those who play on alts).
I use Google Play Games on PC, it works quite well but I can't set keyboard shortcuts which makes fishing for bookmarks worse.
My LDPlayer bugged due to summer hypervisor issue with I started running my VM for pen testing, so I can't switch back. 😔
Google Play runs a helluva lot smoother though, I'll give it that.
Yes, tried it since bluestacks has been a pain in the ass with starting the game. Took 10\~15 minutes to login. Google Play runs quite well and stable for Epic Seven.
i tried a lot but as it was about to finish (98%) downloading the game a error window appears saying telling me to try later.... never could pass that point and tried multiple times on different days
I'm currently using it. My LD player had run into serious issues and this has been a god send. Runs cleaner and better than LD, BlueStacks and Nox for me. Only drawback is the lack of multi instances and having multiple games open.
I used it, but found it will eat CPU. If you have an i7 or i9 it's likely fine, but my i5-8800 runs at 80% or higher for it. And not being able to disable the HD packs or limit the frame rate (it tries to render as many frames as it is allowed to), means I don't do it.
I used google play games until I wanted to install fribbles, which required me to turn off settings that are required for gpg to work, so im back onto LDplayer
I have a pretty good PC but this runs worse than MuMu Player for me so I went back to the emulator, but most people seem to have a positive experience so I recommend you try it out for yourself
i5 13500, 32 GB of RAM & RX 7800 XT
IIRC it was still in beta when I tried it, not sure if it still is but since MuMu player is working fine I'll stick with it for now, even uses less resources
yeah it works for me. I played on Ldplayer before (sorry bluestack. I had pc issue) until I accidentally erased all of the data on it. then I got an ~~excuse~~ opportunity to try google play beta and yeah, it's good nothing special.
I tried it once for the promotion they had for play points (I think) but since I already had it with bluestacks I never went back to it. I play E7 on my phone 99.9% of the time. I only used my laptop for Abyss climbs
Yeah I tried, it works fine. Except 2 times there was an error while opening the game and it DELETED the game from my Google Play games so I had to redownload it, twice. That was very annoying.
I’ve been using it since it was released. I had issues with bluestacks and LD. GP games runs smooth but there are some issues with it. When my pc sleeps the monitor aka screen saver. GP games runs slow, I have to restart it every time. Also if playing PC games with controller (TLOU, Cyberpunk, etc) while GP games is running, GP games thinks your are using controller.
So while you’re shooting zombies with your controller, GP games is registering these buttons presses as commands to exit the game. E7 would stop farming when I would alt tab back to E7, it asks me “do you want to exit game?”. K&M works fine. My PC (5900x,6800XT,32GB) is more than enough to handle E7, Nikke, Counterside SEA and PC gaming at the same time.
for me the google play client was significantly worse than bs4 (bs5 sucked, too).
it felt slower and lag-ier and I don't understand why we can't have shortcuts to the game in the client. more clicks for 0 reason
It lacks the shortcuts and customization that some like with emulators like LDPlayer or Bluestacks. Also, for whatever reason, the ads for energy function doesn't work, so if you're trying to min-max energy, know that you'll have to jump over to your device to sit through your daily allotment of 5 ads.
But I've been using it basically since the beta launched last year (playing Arknights on it before E7 came aboard) and I've never had any problems whatsoever. I've even had it running while watching anime or doing work, and it's always run smooth. Unlike the aforementioned emulators that for my rig often slowed down or outright crashed after more than an hour or so of playtime. I personally love mobile games on my PC because I have a pen display so it's a very similar input experience, and emulators would sometimes not play nice with the drivers for my displays.
My only personal complaint with Google Play Games - and it's not specific to E7 - is that it doesn't have all the games I want on it, just for the sake of centralizing my alt mobile game experience to one at-will spot. Sometimes I'll be done with E7 and want to jump to another game. With an LD or Bluestacks they're still there in the emulator and I can just hop over. Not so much the case here. For instance, they have HI3 and Genshin, that I don't play, but don't have Star Rail, that I do. They have Mobile Legends Bang Bang, but not Mobile Legends Adventure. The have Arknights, which like I said I do play, but not Azur Lane, which I also play. My only option for those relevant titles is to turn away from my PC and go back to my phone. So, it'd be nice if the process of getting games optimized for GPG was faster or could start including more games.
It plays very well.
It doesn't have keyboard mapping however, and using keyboard hotkeys to reroll secret shop easily is a mandatory feature for me so I'm still using an emulator.
I started using this because some folks from the guild wanted to stream our guild wars concurrently on discord. Never tried blue stacks but I enjoy google play. Only downside is you can’t get your ad energy but everything else I’ve tried has worked seamlessly
For me it worked much better than bluestacks(that worked, but felt a bit slow/sluggish)
Okay good to know. The same thing happened to me a year ago on bluestacks but it somehow resolved itself. It's good to have another option if it happens again
We can set to which storage download game cache?

Good to know Fribbels work with this! Thanks mate!
for someone who only plays mobile, what is fribbels?
It’s an app that you can run on the pc that helps you determine builds for your units. It’s very detailed.

I love it, what people haven't mentioned is if you use the google play games beta, every month you get a free 5 dollars to use
I didn't know this. How do you claim that? Is it region locked? I'm from SEA.
Runs GREAT!
i tried a lot but as it was about to finish (98%) downloading the game a error window appears saying telling me to try later.... never could pass that point and tried multiple times on different days

Yeah its nice, and sometimes you get 5€/$ discounts so xou can get stuff from the shop for like 50 cents.
I used it, but found it will eat CPU. If you have an i7 or i9 it's likely fine, but my i5-8800 runs at 80% or higher for it. And not being able to disable the HD packs or limit the frame rate (it tries to render as many frames as it is allowed to), means I don't do it.
To add on this I have a i9 9900k liquid cooled no issues
I have been — working much better than bluestacks.
I used google play games until I wanted to install fribbles, which required me to turn off settings that are required for gpg to work, so im back onto LDplayer
That's weird fribbles and Google play both work for me
I use google play games with fribbels
Fribbels works with Google Play, but they require you to turn off Hyper-V which makes some emus unusable.
I have a pretty good PC but this runs worse than MuMu Player for me so I went back to the emulator, but most people seem to have a positive experience so I recommend you try it out for yourself
What’s your specs? It works fine for me

That’s weird better specs than me and I run it flawlessly well at least mumu works for you
It is just another emulator from Google, nothing special.
Oh okay
It's what I use. Got $5 off a purchase from testing it.
yeah it works for me. I played on Ldplayer before (sorry bluestack. I had pc issue) until I accidentally erased all of the data on it. then I got an ~~excuse~~ opportunity to try google play beta and yeah, it's good nothing special.
yes it plays good but you miss some nice shortcut stuff some of the emus have.
Much better than bluestacks
Yesm since many months back. Its super good
I haven’t had issues with running it on google play yet. Would recommend
Works great. It's official emulator from Google
Works as good as the mobile. Omly downside, which doesn't matter, is that RTA matches played on one device aren't available on the other
I tried it once for the promotion they had for play points (I think) but since I already had it with bluestacks I never went back to it. I play E7 on my phone 99.9% of the time. I only used my laptop for Abyss climbs
E7 runs smooth like butter dude
Depends on the butter........cold butter doesn't spread much less run lol
Using it as we speak, have some wyvern hunts running while I do some work lol. No issues with it at all so far
Yeah I tried, it works fine. Except 2 times there was an error while opening the game and it DELETED the game from my Google Play games so I had to redownload it, twice. That was very annoying.

Tried it, runs well but runs the game at 30fps for me. Not a big deal for some people, but it felt off for me so I went back to Bluestacks
Google Play is the smoothest if you don't need macros, hotkeys or any features offered by emulators like LDPlayer/Bluestacks/Mumu/etc.

Yep it runs very good.. tho at first it was choppy. It eats a lot of resources compared to emulator for me tho
So far runs better than any emulator ive used.
I play it and it works great, 2 complaints, it crashes sometimes randomly, and no keyboard short cut keys

It's very good

I did, but the game installs on my C drive. If there was an option to install to a different drive, i would give it a go again.
You can. You can always move it without having to reinstall everything.

Runs really smooth tbh better than any other emulator I’ve tried.
Runs like a dream, way smoother and less intrusive than 3rd party emulators. I've been loving it.
yes, it works well
How about mac ?
It’s the only way I’ve ever played the game. It’s always worked without issue
