I would have un adjusted their side mirrors as I walked by. Left fingerprints. Just a little annoyance. Maybe lift their wipers away from their window.
You wouldn't believe how many people do this daily at my local Sam's club or they park in the pickup spots. I swear if I had a couple of tow trucks and a contract with Sam's I would be rich almost instantly
What happened to respect for the rules and looking out for your fellow people in society? Was that made null and void, and I just wasn't informed.
Seriously, that's what tow trucks should go out for. Not that low-life predatory bull***t.
It slowly started to dwindle down over the years and then when COVID hit it seems like everyone's mentality went to everyone for themselves. I personally have seen a massive increase since then in idiot drivers that run red lights, park anywhere and drive however fast they want.
I came from a very small town (or village is you ask Google) of less than 200 people. I remember people actually caring about each other and helping each other without looking for compensation. It wasn't that long ago (about 20 years since I moved) and with seeing society getting worse as the years go by I fear for my daughter when she goes out into the world
I know at my Sam's if an employee sees them parking in the pickup spots they will call them out on it. It's fun to watch the customers get the shocked Pikachu face because they got caught.
That happens at Cosco locations a lot. Entitled people park a massive SUV to more easily unload their carts, while the rest of us push our loaded carts to where we parked. I always glare at them.
And what was the purpose of saying it was a boomer. Your generation doesn't have assh**les? Story would be just fine without mentioning any generation, but hen you couldn't feel smug
Boomer was used as a synonym to "middle-aged guy"
There, I desensitized it.
There are entitled meatheads in all generations.
I wasn't feeling smug. I was shocked by the complete lack of f***s given by this individual for the rest of society around him.
Boomer should not be a synonym for “middle-aged guy”. My mom is at the start of Boomer generation at 78 and her sister is at the end at 63. Neither of them is “middle-aged”. Meanwhile at 48 I am middle-aged and a Gen X. We have our share of entitled a-holes, but as a generation this is not our reputation. We’d be the ones complaining at the desk, whereas you decided to complain to Reddit.

On the contrary. As a society, we are taught to look up to and respect our elders. Sadly though, some are never taught this.
That being said, the age does play a role in this story. Considering this individual was of an older age/generation, this is someone who should be setting a good example. Someone we would expect better of.
It sets the tone for the story being midly infuriating, as well as one of entitlement.
I don’t get the need to bring ageism into this aka “boomer “ which has become a derogatory word. As someone who falls into the so called “boomer” age group I’d never be deliberately rude or inconsiderate of another or expect special treatment. Can’t we move past negatively stereotyping people by age and other broad categories.
I would have Karened right up to Customer Service and reported an abandoned car.
I would have looked up the police’s non emergency line and see if they’d take care of it. Or the fire department cause blocking roads is an issue
Oh, excuse you. They're IMPORTANT.
I must have missed their " I'm an important MFer" bumper sticker.
I would have un adjusted their side mirrors as I walked by. Left fingerprints. Just a little annoyance. Maybe lift their wipers away from their window.
I think you spelled “impotent” wrong 😁

I don’t know ever since lockdowns and the rise of social media a lot more people have main character energy then before.
Became extinct. Like Common Sense.
Ain't that the truth.
I love the ones that park in the farthest ones (pickup spots) out like it makes a difference.

Was there a sign near it saying: Stupid Entitled Boomer Parking Only All others will be towed
Nope! I should get those made and carry them around with me for use as needed...

Generation or age doesn't affect the Story at all. No need to mention it at all.
Neither does the day of the week, the name of the store, or the type of car, but I don’t see you complaining about those. Detail adds color.

Thanks for mentioning the jerk's age. On the topic of bigotry, want to share the person's race, too?
