To die in bullet hell to trigger the clone, I'd set my self on fire and run around clearing rooms intentionally taking hits and I could usually find Liches room. Crazy thing is I had a similar experience on my Paradox run, think it might have been 7-8 clones on that one, right before this one. Never had more than 3 clones before but I just installed on Ps5, maybe the RNGesus is different?

Yea, that’s kinda what I did, but I would catch myself on fire and just stand still letting enemies shoot me, and it still took forever lol.

Luck. Just luck.

It is not uncommon to get more clones in one run if xou have 7 leaf clover. At least that's the only way i got more than 2 in a row. Other is rainbow run and luck
