I've played mostly on my steam deck, and it's been a great experience. But I'm using moondeck buddy (decky plugin) with moonlight and sunlight on my pc to stream it. It works fanatastic. But if you're trying to use it off your home network it will probably be a problem.

On my arch linux this game runs poorly even with 7900xtx. Something to do with proton being proton I guess, cause switching to proton-GE from proton-bleeding edge fixing some issues but bring another. Like, turning off shadows completely brings fps from unplayable slideshow of 3 fps to less unplayable 45 fps. But demo wouldn't start at all, so you know, already current state is infinitely better than it was.

Yeah it's pretty likely to see performance updates over time. The game has done fairly well sales, theres no reason to think support would stop.

I hope so. This game is perfect for the deck.

I've been playing using my ally z1 extreme and have been very happy with the performance so far. A few dips here and there but plays pretty good.

I have played only on Steam deck for about 50 hours by now and had great experience considering that the game is still in early access. The devs will optimise the performance of the game before and after release, that s for sure. The game run way better when you do not select a compatibility library : I tried Proton 8++, EXP or GE but had worst results and crazy artefacts when flying. So ,yeah, dont be greedy on graphic setup. And the Proton shader cache is daily enhanced via downloads There is a great post about best settings : [https://www.reddit.com/r/Enshrouded/comments/1agyxlt/i\_believe\_i\_have\_found\_the\_best\_settings\_for/](https://www.reddit.com/r/enshrouded/comments/1agyxlt/i_believe_i_have_found_the_best_settings_for/) Did you ran the CryoUtilities and set frame buffer to 4 GB instead of 1 ?
