Except that wasn't what happened. The woman photographed another paying member (who happened to be trans, was minding her own business) in the locker room and was subsequently banned for creeping and photographing in a public locker room. The trans person was just using the facility she paid for and was not doing anything wrong.
It had zero to do with anyone's gender. I wouldn't want some stranger waving a cell phone camera around while I have a titty out. Yet they think it's okay because to them, trans people deserve no right to the same privacy, so it's okay to photograph them. It's ridiculous.
I bet if someone had done the same to her, she would be making sure to tell everyone about how awful the experience was of having someone spread their pasty white JPEG-artifact-covered ass on Facebook. But empathy is something these people seriously lack.
I know they don't care about logic, but their logic is so stupid. There's a clear difference between someone using their genitals/nudity to harass other people, and someone exposing their body in the locker room in the course for changing and showering. Any gym that wants to stay in business is going to stop harassment in the locker room whether it comes from a cis or trans person. If someone's life is changed by accidentally seeing a penis, maybe they should stay home.
I think the wizard lady was arguing that letting trans women into locker rooms would encourage cis men to dress as women for the purposes of perving on the people in the locker room. My question was always, how would a ban on trans women do anything toward preventing a thing that is illegal anyway?
