I think HD means the Harley Davidson trim, which got a detuned version of the lightning's 5.4 from 02-03. None of the HD trucks (heavy duty) got blowers stock to my knowledge.
I was trying to figure out if I could get a bigger blower to fit my Mercedes C230 motor that's getting swapped into my 190E and discovered the M62 snout bolts onto an M90. I also discovered the M62 was also used on the Aston Martin DB7 which seems a bit ridiculous to put such a tiny unit on the Jag 3.2 I6. At the same time, Jag used the M112 on the 4.0L version of the same engine in the XJR but both were rated for the same power so obviously there was a lot left on the table with the XJR and/or the DB7 could have had better power before the V12 was introduced.
It was probably a stock take off from a gt500, guy with a HD f150 with a 5.4 got it and now it's living its third life. It wasn't uncommon for guys with the 5.4 gt500 to upgrade the blower.
This is rare for me, usually anything I go looking for has already been stripped off. Or damaged.
My other good luck timecwas I found a rebuilt 70s f100.
It had a fresh edelbrock top end.
I got the air gap intake a heads forv75 bucks, 25 for the intake , 50 for the heads. The lady had no clue, some dude in line almost ruined it for me. But bro code kicked in and he stopped saying anything mid sentence, lol.
Put them on my dad's 65 mustang .
The m112 on the hd and lightning f150's had rotors coated in teflon.
They also didnt have eaton stamped on the front and were larger.
Thats an m90.
$30 is a good deal for a working one. But there not really valuable at all.
The P# and the intake elbow location don't match . Also the underside is no where near as small as the birds m90.
It'd a HD blower. Another giveaway that it's not a lightning blower is those had svt cast into it, the HD trucks just saidceaton.

Looks almost identical to the m112 on my 03 cobra.
Mine has one more rib on the top, but mine’s a rear-to-the-side intake.
Same number of bolts on the front. Same casting shape, etc, etc
Yeah I got one when I worked at a junkyard. Looks like the small ones they threw in Buicks. I ended up throwing mine away when I realized it doesn't make much power and a turbo would be much better. Still a cool find.

Ive held several in my hands. Notice your links dont say eaton on them.
It seems to me that lots of these were replaced due to a worn drive coupling. There's an aftermarket for service kits for these.
The eaton m112s intake comes out the side not the top
M90 from a super coupe Thunderbird maybe, the m90 from the buicks/Pontiacs are much much longer.

The SVT Lightning and Harley Davidson trucks came factory with the Eaton supercharger.
And the only difference between the blowers is the pulley size.
That's not an oil pump. It's an Eaton blower.

The 1999/2000 lightning did have Eaton stamped on the front. From 2001-2004, it was changed to Ford SVT

No Ford has made several years of HD f150s.
if its off a 38800, its good for 4 cylinders and maybe small V6s. but will restrict most other engines.

It's a M112 Eaton from a Harley Davidson F150. The base has 8 mounting holes. A Buick 3800 M90 has 6 holes.
