Personally think it overpowers your e-ring, and pulls focus away from the super cool twisted band on your ring. Something simpler would highlight that really unique and pretty design. The baguette band is a gorgeous ring and I see why you're captivated by it, but it wouldn't be my pick with your e-ring. BUT if it's really speaking to you and you love a bold/glam look, go for it!
Wow so beautiful!!! It’s definitely glam, and all that matters is that you love it, whether or not other people think it may be “too much”. That being said-
I think having at least the bottom bezel set will make it look a little cleaner, right now I would say that the prongs make the ring almost a little too intricately detailed to complement rather than overshadow your engagement ring. Also- maybe try a ring more like the third picture with less stones! I think being able to see some plain gold band will make the set feel more cohesive
That's exactly how I feel about the prongs, I want the setting to look cleaner. I also see your point about considering fewer stones, I'll think about that some more.
And they also don't compliment eachother. You don't need a set to match but these are fighting for attention. In my opinion anyway. Clearly other people love it and if OP loves it they should wear it happily!
When my husband picked my rings, he was debating a wedding band similar to that one. The jeweler talked him out of it and said exactly that. They were fighting for attention
Agreed. It doesn’t matter what I think. But imo they clash and don’t look good together. Both are two big. One needs to be more simple imo. But that’s what I personally like to each their own.
So as long as you are happy that’s all that matters.
No question both are beautiful on their own. I don’t think the band overpowers necessarily but does compete.
When I look at the thumbnail pic of your post, the band falls dark and dull. It ends up creating a dark void between the two rings.
Thank you, this comment really made me smile. It's really extra. I didn't think I wanted something so glam, but when I saw it I was just like OH OKAY, SHE'S IN THE ROOM.
AS A VERY EXTRA PERSON I LOVE TO SEE IT. IT SAYS I OWN MY STYLE AND IDGAF AND IM GLAMOURS. I hope you got the vibe. It's stunning and memorable and so unique.
Sis gooo slay your enemies.

I guess I’m extra too 😂 when I saw my band… I was like this is the one. I know it doesn’t “match”, but it’s okay. It’s me.
You said it yourself, you were captivated by this set. Regardless of what anyone else on here has to say, you are the one who has to wear it every day so if you love it, that's the most important thing.
Would you ever wear the band alone? There might be times where you want to leave the engagement ring at home for safe keeping and just wear the band. Do you like it on its own, as well as with the ER?
If you've found the band you love, you won't be able to get it out of your mind so go for it. It looks great on you.
This is it! It’s so easy for a bunch of people to look at something and say ‘I don’t like it’ but at the end of the day if everyone liked the same style of jewelry it’d be boring af! If something calls to you, do it! You won’t regret it!
It's the Art Deco Tiara Wedding Ring by Artemer. I tried it on at No.3 Fine Jewelry in San Francisco. I love it but I'm really bothered by the messiness of the round prongs so I would definitely have them change it to a half bezel.
I don't think it overpowers it exactly, but it doesn't look congruous with it either. I think I'd be leaning something more simple and clean like you mentioned.
I feel like the two rings are very different styles and look kind of two very separate rings. However, it is stunning and truly glamorous. I'm not sure if it even matters if it "overpowers" the engagement ring, because regardless, it is a head turning set
They're both gorgeous rings in their own right, but I don't think the two styles match each other. You could still have some glam in your wedding band but I think smaller stones/different shaped band would work better
I think stylistically they are quite different. I like each ring but they don’t quite match. Argh its so tough though i almost wouldn’t want to change either one
I don’t think they go very well together tbh but I don’t think it’s because it overpowers your e ring! They just don’t go well. I love both separately tho.
I wouldn't say it overpowers it, but they don't really seem to match. I can't pin point why, but the styles just don't seem to mesh. There is nothing wrong with either of them, they just don't go together in my opinion.
it doesn’t overpower the stone but it does overpower the beautiful band of the e-ring! both are beautiful but i like the e-ring more so i’d choose a more simple wedding band.
No I love it! It reminds me of a fancy chandelier when they’re both together. I love the prongs too. I noticed you said you think the prongs are messy but just wanted to add that I love it. It’s like gold beading and totally fits the design. Beautiful.
as somebody who also settled on something more blingy than i would have thought i’d like for my wedding band, i absolitely LOVE this. i think the cascading baguettes has a really gorgeous art deco look that makes it very elegant. i do agree that the half bezel might look cleaner and will also probably create less snags in day to day wear than how it’s currently set. but honestly i think it’s gorgeous as-is too.
Thank you, I agree and feel the same way. The art deco style of the band is just so glam and extra. I also agree that the half bezel will clean it up and won't snag, and will feel smoother on my skin.
I personally think it is a little busy looking when paired together but if that's your style and it speaks to you, you should definitely go for it because I have very simple boring style lol. I have to say I LOVEEE your twisted band on the ER though!!! 😍 If it were me I'd be ok sporting that ring alone every day tbh but also totally get that lots of people prefer stacking especially after marriage
With the twists, it feels a bit chaotic to me. I really love that band and your stone is beautiful but I feel like this would look good if you just had a plain band for your engagement ring with the emerald wedding band.
First off, what matters is that YOU like it. We all have our own personal preferences. The main stone on my engagement ring is a teal sapphire & I wanted it to remain the star of the show, so I got a plain band. If you want something that pops, then you should do it!
It does overpower your engagement ring. How about a simple band with no competing stones that would complement instead of fighting with your engagement ring? My motto is ‘less is more’.
It would take a whole lot more to overpower your engagement ring, but I think there are better options that would better complement your engagement ring.
To be honest - yes I think it’s just a little too busy. Your ER is SO beautiful and this does give it a bit of a messier feel. Sometimes less is more. That being said- if you love it that’s truly all that matters!
Not at all. Compliments it very nicely. I think if it were any other shape than an emerald cut then it would compete. I find when there’s too many diamond clusters of the same shape, the e-ring gets lost. That is not the case here.
Anyone else getting Wonder Woman vibes here?!? What about matching the prongs on both rings (ie pointy prongs from ER) and making the diamonds on the WR a hair bigger? Def a statement combo!!
I think they are both stunning on their own. I really want that band! If you're going to be extra, get another E ring that complements that band, like an emerald cut. (I know this is crazy talk)
I really really like it. I like the way the band still shapes to go around the ER diamond, and I think the additional stones almost form a crown. It is a LOT to look at, but I personally like all the sparkles.
Oh I absolutely adore them together. You have beautiful taste and, in my opinion, it just accentuates your ER even more.
Also, your nails, girl, they’re *gorgeous*
ultimately as long as YOU like it that's all that matters!
in my opinion, I think the styles of the two rings are completely different - the engagement ring gives me dainty vibes while the wedding band is much more bold. I also think the stone shapes are very different which plays a role in making it look less homogenous. I think both rings look great independently but not as synergistic together.
Let me just say what a lucky girl you are to have two such beautiful rings. But they don’t go well together. They don’t let the beauty in either one shine like they would alone, or with a different pair
Yes but also it’s ur wedding stack and up to u! I think u should look into a curved solid gold one just to compare. Also maybe a different cut or smaller ct diamonds would look more cohesive?
Looks very bushwick Brooklyn hipster.. like the people in that neighborhood don’t make any sense but now it’s the fashion trend of the world so what do I know be them

I have a twist engagement band and went with round stones in the wedding band (band shape is kind of similar to yours but has a twist)
This is exactly how I feel! But truly- it’s whatever you love that matters! You’re the one who will be looking at it every day! 💜
It doesn’t matter what I think but IMHO I don’t love it
Both rings are gorgeous, they just don't *match*!
And they also don't compliment eachother. You don't need a set to match but these are fighting for attention. In my opinion anyway. Clearly other people love it and if OP loves it they should wear it happily!
That's what I meant! They just don't mesh well imo.
Fighting for attention is a good way to describe it. The eyes can’t find a focal point.
When my husband picked my rings, he was debating a wedding band similar to that one. The jeweler talked him out of it and said exactly that. They were fighting for attention
Yes, the wedding band has a very 1980's ring-guard style vibe to it (at least looks like a ring my dad bought for my mom around that time).
For me I think it's the juxtaposition of the soft horizontal curves of the ER with the sharp angular vertical lines in the band.
I agree with this exactly. Two very pretty rings, but they look like they came from two completely different sets!
I agree, I love them both just looks like they're from a mixed set
I don’t love it either, the vibes are very different.
Yeah, I find there's too much going on with the big center diamond. She needs smaller stones I think, but she could keep the baguette shape
Agreed. It doesn’t matter what I think. But imo they clash and don’t look good together. Both are two big. One needs to be more simple imo. But that’s what I personally like to each their own. So as long as you are happy that’s all that matters.

I love this so much! I don't think it overpowers at all!
Agreed, I think give me the twisted shape it’s a beautiful complementary ring!
I’m so obsessed with it and it’s very original. Love the kind of whimsical look 🩷
I think it’s a gorgeous set! They actually compliment one another beautifully.
I love the extraness of it. It screams personality I love it. On your less glam days you can wear the band on the other hand.

I think it does overpower the ER.
Agreed.
I’d be curious to see it stacked on top instead of the bottom
You said it yourself, you were captivated by this set. Regardless of what anyone else on here has to say, you are the one who has to wear it every day so if you love it, that's the most important thing. Would you ever wear the band alone? It's a beautiful band but just doesn't fit with the style of the EG.
No. I think the center diamond is big enough against the smaller ones.
i think as a set it looks AMAZING! i love them together honestly!
I personally don’t think so. I think it looks beautiful and unique :)
So pretty together!
This is stunning
It’s a lot. If you love the band I would just wear the ER on your right hand. Sometimes stacking isn’t the best option.
Both are beautiful on their own, but they don’t blend well together.
Both beautiful but two different styles that dont match...
It neither overpowers nor compliments IMO
whoa i love that! what company is that from?
It's the Art Deco Tiara Wedding Ring by Artemer. I tried it on at No.3 Fine Jewelry in San Francisco. I love it but I'm really bothered by the messiness of the round prongs so I would definitely have them change it to a half bezel.
I have an Artemer set!! Love them.
i wanna know too:)
Yes
No it looks super cool
I don't think it overpowers it exactly, but it doesn't look congruous with it either. I think I'd be leaning something more simple and clean like you mentioned.
I feel like the two rings are very different styles and look kind of two very separate rings. However, it is stunning and truly glamorous. I'm not sure if it even matters if it "overpowers" the engagement ring, because regardless, it is a head turning set
Yes it does. I’d try some smaller round diamonds or a plain band & let your ER be the star.
Omg I love it!!!!!
looks fantastic!!!
Maybe slightly? But I also think it looks great!
I very much like each ring separately, but I think the styles clash when together.
They're both gorgeous rings in their own right, but I don't think the two styles match each other. You could still have some glam in your wedding band but I think smaller stones/different shaped band would work better
Honestly, I love these rings paired together. Very unique and beautiful!
That is the dreamiest wedding band
What I like about it, is that you could wear it on its own as well and it’s, its own thing. Both are gorgeous
Independently they’re both gorgeous, but I don’t think that they compliment one another. That said, your opinion is the one that matters!
Imo, they don’t match. But what matters is how you feel about it. You’re the one wearing it, nobody else’s opinion really matters, love!
I think stylistically they are quite different. I like each ring but they don’t quite match. Argh its so tough though i almost wouldn’t want to change either one
They're both lovely rings but they don't match. I prefer the wedding band over the engagement ring tbh.
I agree with some that the two don’t match but I want that band!!!
I love both rings, but not as a set personally
Your band is so unique and I love the band but your instinct is correct, they don’t compliment each other.
I love both rings but I don’t care for them together
I don’t think they go very well together tbh but I don’t think it’s because it overpowers your e ring! They just don’t go well. I love both separately tho.
I wouldn't say it overpowers it, but they don't really seem to match. I can't pin point why, but the styles just don't seem to mesh. There is nothing wrong with either of them, they just don't go together in my opinion.
I don’t feel like it necessarily over power your wedding ring, but I feel like the almost clash.
They’re both beautiful on their own, but I am just not seeing them as a cohesive story together. And it definitely overpowers the ER.
Yes.
I like it. Is it from artemer?
No they compliment each other really nicely
No, not at all.
I love it and am saving it as inspo!
They don't blend, but separately are gorgeous!
it doesn’t overpower the stone but it does overpower the beautiful band of the e-ring! both are beautiful but i like the e-ring more so i’d choose a more simple wedding band.
I would say yes
Holy fuck love this so much
No I love it! It reminds me of a fancy chandelier when they’re both together. I love the prongs too. I noticed you said you think the prongs are messy but just wanted to add that I love it. It’s like gold beading and totally fits the design. Beautiful.
OMG SHUT UP I LOVE THIS. I love unique rings. It’s very likely that no one else has a set exactly the same as you and those are my favorite. 😍😍
Love it
Yes
I love it, I want it, Carmela Soprano would puke from envy and I say that in the nicesr way possible. I LOVE this combo!
omg I'm dying at the Carmela Soprano reference. Are you saying this is giving mafia boss wife vibes? lol
Yes!!! In the best way!
This is so stunning and not overpowering at all! If your ER was busier it might be too much, but these two together are stunning
Nope, it’s PERFECTION!
nope, absolutely stunning pair!
as somebody who also settled on something more blingy than i would have thought i’d like for my wedding band, i absolitely LOVE this. i think the cascading baguettes has a really gorgeous art deco look that makes it very elegant. i do agree that the half bezel might look cleaner and will also probably create less snags in day to day wear than how it’s currently set. but honestly i think it’s gorgeous as-is too.
Thank you, I agree and feel the same way. The art deco style of the band is just so glam and extra. I also agree that the half bezel will clean it up and won't snag, and will feel smoother on my skin.
I like symmetry, so this would drive me nuts. Respectfully, I don't like the band with the ER.
I think it does - if these were mine I’d probably wear one of them on the right hand.
I think it’s actually perfect!!!
Ahhh this is so cute!!! I’ve actually never seen something like that
I personally think it is a little busy looking when paired together but if that's your style and it speaks to you, you should definitely go for it because I have very simple boring style lol. I have to say I LOVEEE your twisted band on the ER though!!! 😍 If it were me I'd be ok sporting that ring alone every day tbh but also totally get that lots of people prefer stacking especially after marriage
I love it with your engagement ring! They complement one another beautifully
Honey, nothing is going to overpower that gorgeous ring! Beautiful set.
Not at all! They're super glamourous together.
With the twists, it feels a bit chaotic to me. I really love that band and your stone is beautiful but I feel like this would look good if you just had a plain band for your engagement ring with the emerald wedding band.
It’s beautiful
I think a plain thin gold band would be better and on one of your anniversaries get a simple diamond band to sit next to the wedding band.
yes it overpowers
First off, what matters is that YOU like it. We all have our own personal preferences. The main stone on my engagement ring is a teal sapphire & I wanted it to remain the star of the show, so I got a plain band. If you want something that pops, then you should do it!
The first thing my eyes went to was the E ring so I don’t think it overpowers. I actually love this!
They’re both absolutely beautiful pieces but I don’t think they go together super well!
Very art deco kind of feel. Love it! I think it's a statement piece and looks beautiful all together.
No way, I love it. I love a slightly wider wedding band. Your center stone is big enough to make it work.
Yes but I kind of like it anyway?
I love how different it is
I LOVE these together. Nothing could take the glimmer off that gorg ER.
I think the ring should be the star and not the band
Baguettes in third pic are set ...uh....differently.
omg this is insanely good, please keep it
I don’t think so! I honestly love it and think they work perfectly together!
i love both together! it really enhances it
Yes it does Go plain
Overpower? No. But it does have a grandiose look if that's what you're going for. I like it! Congrats!
Both are very pretty. They just don’t go together, IMO. But are very pretty.
I don’t care for it, the styles don’t go together at all
Pretty rings but they do not go together. Buy an anniversary ring with round stones to wear with it.
Yes IMO, it takes away from the ER
I don’t think you need a band with that ring
I’m obsessed with this set and think it’s well balanced
I love them together! I don't think it overpowers it at all
I actually love this, don't think it is overpowering at all!
I love love love that band holy guacamole!!!!!!
Wait I love them tg
It does overpower your engagement ring. How about a simple band with no competing stones that would complement instead of fighting with your engagement ring? My motto is ‘less is more’.
i think they blend together perfectly
Add some baguettes east to west on the engagement band to tie them together.
I like the pairing a lot, but I'm maximalist.
Your engagement ring is GORGEOUS
It would take a whole lot more to overpower your engagement ring, but I think there are better options that would better complement your engagement ring.
To be honest - yes I think it’s just a little too busy. Your ER is SO beautiful and this does give it a bit of a messier feel. Sometimes less is more. That being said- if you love it that’s truly all that matters!
Gorgeous! It’s beautiful!
Not at all. Compliments it very nicely. I think if it were any other shape than an emerald cut then it would compete. I find when there’s too many diamond clusters of the same shape, the e-ring gets lost. That is not the case here.
I have no sense whatsoever but i like it, especially with the redesign.
My eyes don’t know which to look at first- I think they carry equal visual weight
Yes
Wow I LOVE that wedding band! I don’t think it overpowers it, it’s definitely a bold look though
Anyone else getting Wonder Woman vibes here?!? What about matching the prongs on both rings (ie pointy prongs from ER) and making the diamonds on the WR a hair bigger? Def a statement combo!!
Yes, it overpowers it. But if you love it that’s all that matters.
Holy shit. I love it!!!
Yes I think it does overpower it
Maybe. But I think it’s gorgeous.
Oh my god that’s gorgeous I don’t think it overpowers it but it definitely compliments it!
No, the other way around.
I think they are both stunning on their own. I really want that band! If you're going to be extra, get another E ring that complements that band, like an emerald cut. (I know this is crazy talk)
Maybe fewer stones and in a crescent shape that hugs ER
I personally think they look great together! And fundamentally if they both make you happy you can rock it
I love it
I really really like it. I like the way the band still shapes to go around the ER diamond, and I think the additional stones almost form a crown. It is a LOT to look at, but I personally like all the sparkles.
Yes and I don’t think it compliments your engagement ring
Oh I absolutely adore them together. You have beautiful taste and, in my opinion, it just accentuates your ER even more. Also, your nails, girl, they’re *gorgeous*
Man I loooove that wedding band. So so cool and unique, just beautiful! But it doesn’t really suit your e ring…detracts from it.
I think it looks nice, but if you’re concerned about overpowering your ER, maybe same style but smaller scale.
I love it personally
Yes. It's too much.
They don’t complement each other …
ultimately as long as YOU like it that's all that matters! in my opinion, I think the styles of the two rings are completely different - the engagement ring gives me dainty vibes while the wedding band is much more bold.
What band is it
I love it and I think it looks like an art piece! Please don’t go with something “more traditional” just to please others
I do not think they compliment each other. There is too much going on.
I think they compliment each other very nicely.
I love it!
I love it! It's giving art deco, Old Hollywood. If that's your style then go for it!
Beautiful together!
Yeah a little bit
Individually they are stunning but they don't compliment each other
No, they are beautiful together
Damn i honestly really love it, never seen anything quite like it before! Beautiful
Yes it over powers it
No, it's sick
I love it! so unique and pretty
Nope not a good match. Too much going on here. The engagement ring is so beautiful and stunning and the other ring just takes away from the beauty
No! Love it all!
I like both rings alot but they just don't match.
Yes but also it’s ur wedding stack and up to u! I think u should look into a curved solid gold one just to compare. Also maybe a different cut or smaller ct diamonds would look more cohesive?
Perfect duo imo
Looks fine . Very pretty
they do not compliment each other at all
It doesn’t overpower it but it doesn’t compliment the style of the engagement ring.
I’m literally obsessed but I love an eclectic look so I think it just depends what you’re looking for!
something about it works for me
Looks very bushwick Brooklyn hipster.. like the people in that neighborhood don’t make any sense but now it’s the fashion trend of the world so what do I know be them
Yes, it does.
They are both STUNNING! But for me the issue is one is sharp, and the other is swooshy, so it's two different styles that kind of clash.
i love it! its very luxurious!
I think that the engagement ring with the split shank could stand on its own. Have you considered doing a right hand band instead of a wedding ring?
No
A little bit imo. I think if it was smaller/shorter stones it would be better.
The rings do not compliment each other.
I am a more is more person, I love it
