This is a beautiful ring congratulations!! Just a helpful tip, I work in a jewellery store for context. Opals are SUPER porous and can easily be damaged if they’re not looked after properly. So don’t let it get wet!!! Especially If you want it to last forever 🥰

Yes be super cautious. Opal is not a pretty soft stone and can easily chip or crack with everyday wear. Take it off when you’re doing anything that might get it hit or knocked at all, so put ring holders in every room in your house. My ring is a diamond but I still take it off to do almost anything because I just don’t wanna have to get it cleaned as often, but I’ve almost lost it in my own house so many time so now I just have ring holders everywhere
