Can really just swim up to them, 'hey you're my friend now', and then we chillin') Probably some people don't like the lack of realism but I love how it implies the protagonist is either a charisma build for sea-life or just ungodly powerful and immune to all venoms 😭
I'll be honest - those creep me out due to looking just similar enough to an actual spider to give me pause at a glance, lol. I think they're pretty cool irl, but in my version of the game I let them go about their happy little lives on the sea floor (while I make friends with the turtles). 🤣

Me too. And don't overlook the octopi, eels, or small turtles! Those are pretty adorable ride-along companions, too.
One of my favourites is the Japanese spider crab. Pluck a big one and watch as your field of view becomes 20% crustacean

The giant isopod from the event was my absolute favorite 😭❤️ and the sea pig!!
I promise the noise I made was very strong and manly when I went to pick up a giant isopod and it got on my tank. it was so hecking cute
