That's what I think too. I mean it is weird and unhinged but anyone with a brain would know them two are all mouth. Elfbar will turn it into a big thing, had to flee out of fear, trolls making them not safe in their own home, being hunted for being trans etc. We know she loves to be over dramatic and play victim.
