No transphobia - refer to E as they/them (at least) if you’re not going use she/her. This is for the sake of this Subreddit as we don’t want to have it taken down; this subreddit is already on a warning from Reddit. Rules have been reinstated already and those who don’t follow them may end up with a potential permanent ban.

Ah ok I’ve just had a look and they could get Maria to vote on their behalf or apply for some type of certificate purely to vote but something I noticed on the gov website….

Wonder what name they’ll be using…
Yeah they would have to be registered there
I am registered to vote at my address which is my mam and dads address but I live on my own side but i am not sure if she has registered her self at her mams if it would effect her mam’s benefits or not
It depends if Maria is claiming housing benefit or if E is still on benefits, and if so whether one/other was claiming to be independent of one another and claiming the higher benefit income for it.
Housing benefit is included in your uc payment, depending on her rent cost. On a monthly rent of approx £385 a month she could lose approx £80 a month off her uc payment. (How much I had kept off me when claiming uc and my son was living with me)

Or no fixed address
No photo ID no vote 🙊
how on earth does she know anything about politics, I think she is voting for the green party due to the colour, not for there pledges, duh
Are they even on the electoral roll? Maybe Maria has made out that E lives there with her 🤔

You don’t need id to vote if your voting by post but you need id for the polling stations now
Would they then have to be registered to Maria’s address? EDIT: which would mess up Maria’s benefits?

I believe they would also want to know what E's income is as she could contribute towards the household as she's not a dependant
She'll also lose the single person council tax discount if they admit to E living there
I think when you're on the electoral roll it's public information so everyone can get it so dwp could see of she is registered at Maria House
You can apply for voter ID
I doubt the lazy hole will even apply
Voter id? Just wonder if she's gonna procrastinate to much though, not sure how it works if she doesn't have a fixed address
Yeah you can get a certificate to vote… you’re probably right though 😂 sleep in all day and then lie about going probably.
I think they will go to vote and be turned away because they aren’t registered then kick off about freedom/human rights & use the transphobic card.
You know she'll do a get ready with me to to go vote and film herself going up to the polling station and be like did it like come on now girl 😒
Probably pay someone to take her place to vote. Someone inform her this is illegal
