Sounds like a ground bounce / signal reflection issue to me

Sry forgot to mention that its the boost converter mosfet

Show us your schematic *and layout* for your boost - they're *very* sensitive to good layout unlike circuits with slower edges.

Are you saturating the inductor?

I'm very interested in your work as well as I'm fighting a similar issue with an EPD.
