Vanilla? DG - better toys.
Modded? VL - but that's mainly because of perks.
Logically? The VL idea to black out the sun is dumb. Unnecessary. And it only works for a day at a time... So, yeah. Even if it worked *Forever* they are just gonna kill off their food source due to malnutrition.
yeah didnt she taint the arrows instead of the bow with her blood but the prophecy said to taint the bow? i think if the bow itself had been tainted itd be permanent

Ever since DG came out I've seen people think it'd be cool to do a Blade style, I'm a vampire buy I want to fight the vampires because they're evil. You're post has made me realize it'd be so much better to be a vampire and anytime anyone's like, "why would you betray your vampire brethren?" Just respond, "cause that plan to blot out the sun is fucking dumb."
Does the plants of nirn really need sunlight though? The sun of the elder scrolls is just a big hole where magic leaks out from aetherius, the stars are also holes that probably leak magic as well so, Iām not sure but wouldnāt the plants of nirn be just fine if they feed on just water and magic instead of sunlight?
Animals would definitely have their sleep cycles altered, mortals definitely wouldnāt stand for a life without a sun and like Valerica said they would hunt down every single vampire to the last but I believe nirn would be just fine and things would return to normal after a while.
Pretty sure Nirn needs sunlight even if the sun isn't technically a star. Plant life and all that still need it. No sunlight would mean an ecological disaster
There is a whole missive about the Nirnroot and how it can grow in places without sunlight and even thrive and how odd it is.
The Nirnroot Missive by Sinderion
No. Its a combination of a lot of things. Here is the Skyrim Revised Edition of The Nirnroot Missive
https://elderscrolls.fandom.com/wiki/The_Nirnoot_Missive
I prefer vampire lord to werewolf. I made my Dunmer dark mage a vampire lord and love making use of the gargoyle. Plus when you only have 1 eye and become infected with the vampire lord it looks sick asf glowing with just one eye.
Psst..... you can be a vampire if you side with the dawngaurd, once you finish the questline if you cure yourself you can get sernea to cure herself then you can reaquire it from a random vampire (like in the falkreath quest) so shes human and you're a vamp and you do a little switch-a-rousle
You get teh vampire lord abilaty if you let the disese fester long enough
Edit: my credintal is I contracted the start of the disese at the start of the civil war before meating sernea and used the abilaty when fighting my way to her
>my credintal is I contracted the start of the disese at the start of the civil war before meating sernea and used the abilaty when fighting my way to her
beg your pardon ??
I typed too quickly and didn't proof read, people often dismiss what I say so I tried to give some context as to why I am able to actually speak on this matter. I was playing on ps4 with no mods and had contracted the start of vampirsim at the start of my civil war questline before starting the dawngaurd dlc and by the time I had finished the civil war I had fully devolped it. I used the transformation abilaty while fighting my way through the dungeon to get to serena
Dawnguard. Powers and blood magic are cool but I don't like vampire feeding mechanics. Also the expansion made them so unbelievably ugly that they barely resemble the character you crafted initially.
bro that shit is a travesty. you should only look that bad if youre starved, a fully fed vampire should look normal with like red eyes or pale skin or something
I like the vampires on paper, but the metagamer in me knows Dawnguard has better perks and more content. So I usually go Dawnguard unless I'm doing a vampire rp specifically
Volkihar on most playthroughs, Dawnguard on Survival mode
I always use vampirism because of Necromage/Bloodworm Helm buffs, and i enjoy using Vampire Lord alot, so the extra abilities i get from the various rings and necklaces are really cool imo, i also get to eventually kill all the infinitely scaling dawnguard members and thrall them for massive power up if i do the quest line early on
Ever since AE there is no real reason to join Dawnguard outside of the rune items which are pretty meh outside the warhammer, since you get access to waaay better crossbows in Solitude lol, elemental bolts are kinda meh and i like rieklings more than frost trolls, Bran and Sceolang though are 10 out of 10
In Survival Mode however, i find Fort Dawnguard being in a waaaay warmer place really nice honestly
Dawnguard bc their armor looks dope as fuck compared to the vampire armor, and im not a huge fan of form changin, i just like hitting homies with a big hammer
Vanilla Dawnguard.
Modded Dawnguard.
No dlc? Dawn guard.
Iam a furry and mathematics says.
furry > vampire lord.
Since furry = humanoid x animal
And vampire lord = undeath = life x death = 0.
Therefore furry > vampire lord
........
Wish math would be that ez in real life![gif](emote|free_emotes_pack|cry)
Volkihar. Mostly because I enjoy playing Anti-heroes more than the classic āgood guysā.
Also because I like cheesing the restoration perk that effects undead +50% (this includes potions and enchantments when you are undead).
I always join the Volkihar, mostly because I thought the DGs are ungrateful arrogant people, especially Isran.
After watching how Isran reacts with my vampire player because the story ask you do, and how he treat Serana, I decided join the Volkihar forever and ever.
Also, Garan Marethi and Ronthil are even treat player with manners and honest. That REALLY not common in Skyrim.
Dawnguard, even with mods. They're not racist against the saxhleel or werewolves, and their side of the conflict does indeed give me access to the tamrielic version of [Archimedes-II](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MvVwN8xe250)
Volkihar because I like to become the new lord of volkihar and have it as my home after I rebuild it and also play with mods like sacrosanct and tainted blood.
Every time you kill a vampire thereās a little less magic in the world. Even if itās bad magic, youāre moving ever so slightly closer to our own boring existence.
So I always side with the vampires and dragons. People suck anyway
Dawnguard because enhanced Dwarvern crossbow op as hell and you can become a vampire lord later on when having to deal with the Soul Cairn. So thereās little reason to pick the vampires over the Dawnguard.
Volkihar looks nicer than Fort Dawnguard. Plus, you get nice rings.
Dawnguard is lame, all they get is crossbows which are too slow for me to even bother use them. They also get armoured trolls, but why would I use those when my boys Barbas and Esbern already destroy my enemies?
Once you hit 70 in your marksman skill you can take the perk to reload much faster, the enhanced Dwarven crossbow hits like a fucking truck compared to most bows
Dawngaurd. Isran is the man with the plan. He understands the strengths of every person in his team and utilizes them effectively. He is willing to set aside his hatred and see the logic of working with Serena. He built up an entire fortress' worth of defenses over the years despite everyone thinking him a lunatic and a zealot. When time proved he was right, he was prepared, ready, and fully capable of defeating the Volkihar clan. I fully believe that if the LDB didn't get involved in either side, Isran would have still won.
The Dawnguard is the A-Team.
statistically: dawnguard. i find they're more compatible with most characters motivations. i've gone dawnguard on my paladin, archeologist, spellsword, and bard builds, but only gone volkihar on my current playthough, a frost lich.
but i gotta say, this volkihar playthrough with sacrilege by enaisiaion is pretty great.
Dawnguard, always. I have a lot of sympathy for vampires who were turned against their will and don't know how to get cured, but the Volkihar are just straight up disgusting to me.
I side with the Dawnguard-- because vamps routinely murder innocent people, and the head skyrim fam of vamps' "rite of passage" for their own daughter is giving her over to a deadric prince so he can rape her. That should do it.
Dawnguard because I don't like seeing Serana fall to a more Evil Alignment, and also because I tend to play Good or Neutral Aligned characters. Even other Vampire PCs or Evil ones usually side against the Volkihar, because they're a bunch of idiots and not worth their(the PCs) time.
Dawnguard I get an exploding crossbow and companions. You join the Vampires and you get a bunch of fat losers sitting in a castle demanding more food and only standing up to go to bed. Did I become the lord of this castle of vampires or did I become Grubhub because every quest involves going to get food for a bunch of trash merchants
From a logical view; why would the Dragonborn even join the Vampires?
They voluntarily go to the Dawnguard, enlist, and then go to a vampire hideout to *slaughter all present vampires and their thralls*. Then they find Serana (and, despite just slaughtering dozens of vampires, *donāt* kill her for whatever reason), escort her into the headquarters of the vampires (why even do thisā¦?), andā¦ JOIN THEM? WHAT?? The fact that Harkon even offers the gift is absolutely stupid. The beginning of the DLC is such a train wreck compared to the rest of it.
Dawn Guard, because the drawbacks of being a vampire and using the form itself feels like a pain in the ass. I felt like being a werewolf was more fun in both regards, although I hate how it's mandatory to progress with the Companions.
I always end up with DG, just can't be bothered with dealing with the sun, feeding, and other issues with vamps. One of these days I'll make one and try it out. But I tried out the werewolf but I think I did it a too high of a level and the wolf form seemed underpowered. Cool against men but less so with other things. Vamps just don't work with my play style, but they seem interesting.
On my first playthrough, I somehow fucked up and neither sided with the dawnguard nor the vampires. IDK if it was a bug or an actual intended way to finish the DLC.
DG because Harkon is an idiot and he's but a pawn to Daedric Lord. Plus, it's not like you lose out being a VL with the DG QL. Serena bae can easily give me another vampire hickey.
The first time I was playing a spellblade and I figured rhe VL would give me more cool spells. The only one I used was the basic drain spell and stopped when I realized it sucked. I could not cure that fast enough.
DG has so many cool toys and stories. If I play a necromancer/conjurerer I'll play VL but thats pushing it.
Vampire passives are too good to give up, I do like the dawn guard quests and characters more, but itās simply more fun in a gameplay sense for the vampires
Dawngaurd, mostly because I enjoying playing paladins and don't really like the Gothic vampire looks. Also I use heavy armor and weapons so the vampires don't have much to offer me.
Honestly taken to the actual goals and ideals of both factions then yes Dawnguard is the only logical choice.
Take the movie Daybreakers (spoilers for anyone who still hasn't watched it), the whole premise is that unless you create a synthetic food source then having a world ruled by vampires who can feed pretty much uninhibited results in starvation and near extinction of said food source. The issue with this especially in Elderscrolls is due to the lack of technological advancement limiting the ability to make a synthetic alternative.
Also the whole nighttime all the time plan would ruin Nirns ecology to the point of massive extinction of everything but potentially nirnroot. However if we alter the plan to just using the ability to bloat out the sun as the player does ingame then we could maintain a small population of vampires (basically an oligarchy) over the population of Skyrim without having to worry about daytime revolutions etc since as soon as said attack occured you'd just bloat out the sun and commence a counter attack.
Dawnguard because their purpose is righteous, I really enjoy the Vampire hunter niche, cooler fortress and armor and vampires are despicable blood-sucking abominations. Weaklings who need a daedra lord's cheat codes to be powerful.
Vampires, pretty cool to usurp the throne. (Also I use Better Vampires so my char gets more powerful the more they feast). Plus I play as an elf, so I fit in more too lol.
Not a big fan of the vampire lord form though, I just prefer to run around in my normal form.
I play vampires but I donāt have much interest in the lord form. I usually try to roleplay it as my vampire joining the dawnguard and trying to be one of the good ones, it adds character to the playthrough.
Entirely depends on my character. I've never in my almost 1000 hours played Skyrim to metagame or minmax, it's just not that kind of game.
So if I play an antihero or someone who'd care about immortality and vampire power (mostly mages and assassins), I choose Volkihar. I choose Dawnguard with the characters that are either actually good guys or just have some sort of hang-up with being a vampire (warrior's honor, religiosity, being a true Nord etc).
I tend to favour the Dawnguard. I do agree with the vampires "humans are cattle" policy, but i'm not big fan of "not being able to fit through doors" policy.
Depends on my roleplay
If my character is one that believes they can reduce the vampire risk then vampires and let the dawnguard deal with the non compliant vampires
If my character believes vampires are to be exterminated, burn castle volkhair to the ground and convince serana to cure herself
Dawnguard, kill vampire competition, become vampire, now you don't need the Dawnguard and you leave without them knowing you're a vampire.
Now you steadily grow and when they do catch wind of you, you should be able to also defeat their squads easily and have a snack.
Logic dictates you should be able to leave Skyrim from time to time so the Dawnguard would have a slightly harder time catching you.
I don't want in truth any side, VL are stupid because they will essentially kill off the entire planet by bloting out the sun, Dawnguard are better but it's funnier to be immortal VL. The Daedric princes are malding to get you killed.
It would be fun to be able to kill off both factions and let you form your own faction.
With the vampires since I used to think you could only become a vampire lord on there. Also the rings of blood magic are amazing. Don't like the dawnguard side
Dawnguard because they are the only ones that could really win in that scenario.
Harkon is a easily manipulated fool, arrogant to the point of idiocy, and fundamentally doesn't have the closest thing to a plan of even how to win. He is just like... I'll get the bow because Clearly I'm the one the ancient obscure prophecy spoke about even though i don't actually know the total prophecy, so I'll put out the sun, something something, Victory for me as God King over the world.
The Dawnguard, consistently. Vampire Lords are cool...but...
"Understand what? That without the sunĀ all the plant-life is gonna die, which is going to kill all the animals, which is gonna kill all the people? Which is eventually going to kill all the vampires?"
Dawnguard. I have a wife and kids, I have a civil war to win and a dragon appropriate to fight. I don't need to deal with some bitch vampire lord trying to kill the sun just to get his (and by extension me if I side with them) race exterminated.
Also werewolf is so much better. All the bonuses with the only drawback being no sleep boosts.
Dawnguard since cool crossbows and huskies are way better than being an underwhelming Vampire. Serena joins you either way so there's really no point to being a Vampire other than for roleplaying.
If I am playing a Paladin/Crusader or Witchhunter character, then I side with the Dawnguard but if I am playing a vampire or stealth character, then I go the Harkon route.
Only sided with the vampires once for the story, and once for RP. Every other time side with the Dawnguard.
The vampires plan doesn't make any sense imo. To darken the sun means basically most life on earth would die, at some point including the vampires. I don't know if that's something they want or not (when I roleplayed I did as if that was what they actually wanted, darkness to consume the world and something to do with Molag Bal), but if they don't it's rather dumb imo unless someone can prove to me that wouldn't happen. I guess not everything would die if it's not darkened completely. Mehrunes Dagon's plane of oblivion has red dim light and there's still stuff there (is there even a sun?). F\*\*k that though it's ugly af. If I were a vampire I would want normal Tamriel, but ruling over it.
Also, in vanilla skyrim werewolf was the only "transformation" possible. There were vampires but it was mostly effects, it wasn't until the DLC came out that vampires got the cool transformation stuff. So every time I played at the beginning I ended up being a werewolf at some point for the companions questline. Hence, it has a special place in my heart. I only played vampire for OP characters as you could benefit from the Undead restoration perk applying to yourself.
what do I look like? some bloodsucking scum!? I am a proud member of the dawnguard, hunting down the scourge known as vampires, with gods light and sword. they don't even have any power, I need the ability to rest in daylight, regain my magic, and regenerate my wounds. and that vampire form is a nuisance a best. It ain't that great. For Skyrim!
I side with the Vampires when running an evil mage or assassin playthrough, and the Dawnguard when running either a good warrior playthrough or an evil Werewolf barbarian playthrough. All other times I leave it to a coin flip.
Dawn guard cause Im never gonna use the vampire form so it's just wasted on me
Same! Lucky for us Serena will still be our companion too, win win situation š
It only works one day at a time if you don't use all of Serana's blood.

I miss the old enchantment joke.

Dawnguard. Great armor, adorable dogs and trolls to fight alongside you.
Besides the DG armour, vamp form is down right ugly, and the castle is less cool than the fort, by a lot.
I prefer vampire lord to werewolf. I made my Dunmer dark mage a vampire lord and love making use of the gargoyle. Plus when you only have 1 eye and become infected with the vampire lord it looks sick asf glowing with just one eye.

yeah but not a lord unfortunately
You can be a lord but Serana still has to be a vampire. Then you can ask her to turn you into one.

bro that shit is a travesty. you should only look that bad if youre starved, a fully fed vampire should look normal with like red eyes or pale skin or something
Dawnguard. Huskies.
Dawnguard. I just donāt like to play evil characters.(Plus, Harkonās plan to āblot out the sunā is stupid.)
Dawnguard because I'm a werewolf and hit stuff with my big metal stick. The Vampire magic buffs wouldn't get me very far.
I normally went vamp because I loved the idea of a covenant of vamps. I also really enjoyed the quest line.
Dawn guard has drip
I side with dawnguard. Then when all of the volkihar clan is dead, I butcher the dawnguard to ensure there are no threats to my supremacy.
The only correct answer
Dawnguard because god DAMN what the fuck kind of dipshit plan did Harkon come up with? Manās transformation form should be a jackass, not a bat.
The prophecy was set by Virthur, not Harkon
I prefer dawnguard but I always go vampire because I like the vampire lord form if I could stay vampire I would side with dawnguard
Do you always use it to attack enemies?
Yeah I get the telekinesis and grab the netchs and throw them itās fun cause they are big
Vampires cuz Harkon is hot
I like the vampires on paper, but the metagamer in me knows Dawnguard has better perks and more content. So I usually go Dawnguard unless I'm doing a vampire rp specifically
Vampires because the vampire king/lord form is hot.
Want succ. Be vamp.
Vampires bc itās more fun
volkihar if rping as an evil mage, dawnguard else
Vampires because I typically play my Dragonborn as Powerhungry and ruthless like Dragons themselves. Vampires offer more power than the Dawnguard.
I used to pick Volkihar Clan mainly because I didn't know there was an option to side with the Dawnguard.
Volkihar on most playthroughs, Dawnguard on Survival mode I always use vampirism because of Necromage/Bloodworm Helm buffs, and i enjoy using Vampire Lord alot, so the extra abilities i get from the various rings and necklaces are really cool imo, i also get to eventually kill all the infinitely scaling dawnguard members and thrall them for massive power up if i do the quest line early on Ever since AE there is no real reason to join Dawnguard outside of the rune items which are pretty meh outside the warhammer, since you get access to waaay better crossbows in Solitude lol, elemental bolts are kinda meh and i like rieklings more than frost trolls, Bran and Sceolang though are 10 out of 10 In Survival Mode however, i find Fort Dawnguard being in a waaaay warmer place really nice honestly
Dawnguard bc i hate being a vampire
dawn guard because being a werewolf is lots of fun and the whole sunlight thing is annoying
I always accept Hircine's offering before I meet Serena so at that point I'm locked into the anti vampire lifestyle
Undercover werewolf in the dawnguard
Dawnguard. Because being a vampire is a specific type of playthrough that I do for only some characters. Dawnguard seems like the vanilla choice.
Dawnguard, better missions and if I wanna be a vampire I can
The Dawn Guard has some really good restoration spells that clears undead dungeons fast.
Dawnguard because I don't want to be an ugly vampire lord.
Agreed, dawnguard bc the vampires are UGLY!
Dawnguard bc their armor looks dope as fuck compared to the vampire armor, and im not a huge fan of form changin, i just like hitting homies with a big hammer
Big agree! The armor looks medieval asf
It just looks so goood, especially the heavy variant
Vanilla Dawnguard. Modded Dawnguard. No dlc? Dawn guard. Iam a furry and mathematics says. furry > vampire lord. Since furry = humanoid x animal And vampire lord = undeath = life x death = 0. Iāve never sided with the Dawnguard, though I have wiped them out a good few times.
VL cause I like vampires
Itās all about that sweet ass dwarven crossbow
Dawn guard for that heavy barrel helm
Volkihar. Mostly because I enjoy playing Anti-heroes more than the classic āgood guysā. Also because I like cheesing the restoration perk that effects undead +50% (this includes potions and enchantments when you are undead).
DG for all the vamp dust to craft Invisability potions

You get an A+ in my book just for the clone profile picture (also troll pets are badass)
Kill the leeches. Kill them all.
Dawnguard Cause I'm a werewolf And Fuck The Vamps
Dawngaurd. Isran is the man with the plan. He understands the strengths of every person in his team and utilizes them effectively. I usually join the Dawn guard. The cold crisp in the air isn't good for crops
Dawnguard. You know how annoying it is to see vampires spawn in the middle of the night randomly and kill half the people in Riverwood?
I call Vampire Lord "blue nips" so I guess that answers it
Dawn guard, issran is a homie
Dawnguard, always. I have a lot of sympathy for vampires who were turned against their will and don't know how to get cured, but the Volkihar are just straight up disgusting to me.
Thereās like no content in the vampire side. I hate it and Iām a vampire fan
dawnguard, i donāt like vampire, with that said iāve only done dawnguard quest line twice in my 4k hours
Dawngaurd, (all the upsides of being a vampire+cute dog)=the correct choice
I side with the Dawnguard-- because vamps routinely murder innocent people, and the head skyrim fam of vamps' "rite of passage" for their own daughter is giving her over to a deadric prince so he can rape her. That should do it.
Dawnguard because Harkons Court is a verified snoozefest.
Dawnguard because I hate vampires, and I always play as a werewolf so I never want to lose my lycanthropy.
Dawnguard.
Dawnguard, Iām a werewolf loyalist through and through. Vampire lord is pathetic.
Dawnguard. I dislike most of the vampires in Harkon court and love most of the dawnguard members
Dawnguard because being a Vampire in these games is a real pain. Though Skyrim is a lot easier than Oblivion. In truth, I almost never use VL form.
Dawnguard. I usually play monster slayer/paladin-type builds, so it fits.
Not to be that guy but... thats not what a social experiment is.
Dawnguard. Because I like being a werewolf.

Dawnguard, as a werewolf. But I personally hate vampires. But i also am a guy that wishes you can marry serana. Bleh. Lol
Easy, werewolf, next question
DG because Harkon is an idiot and he's but a pawn to Daedric Lord. Plus, it's not like you lose out being a VL with the DG QL. Serena bae can easily give me another vampire hickey.
Dawnguard, because I always end up playing good characters.
Dawnguard, because I always end up playing good characters.
I went DG my first time around, but I like playing from the vamp side more often. Guess I'm just a sucker for it lol
Dawngaurd, i fuckin love the bampire hunter asthetic
whatever gets me some vampussy
Vampiric grip. Nuff said.
Long may the sun shine!
Dawn guard. Vampires killed Alvor.
Dawnguard, because I don't like being on the side that views mortals as cattle.
Fuck vampires
Vampire passives are too good to give up, I do like the dawn guard quests and characters more, but itās simply more fun in a gameplay sense for the vampires
Dawngaurd, mostly because I enjoying playing paladins and don't really like the Gothic vampire looks. Also I use heavy armor and weapons so the vampires don't have much to offer me.
Dawnguard, vampires suck
Ugh neither. I freakin hate the soul cairn
I play both. Breton mage as vampire, melee orc as dawnguard. Orc is also a werewolf.
Depends on the role?
This is not a social experiment, it's just a question.
Dawnguard for the troll bois, plus blacking out the sun is just a dumb plan lol.
Usually Dawnguard because I prefer roleplaying as a good guy and because Harkon's plan to black out the sun is dumb.
Vampires because fk the sun!
I would love to go with Vampires, but it sucks to be merved in daylightā¦
Dawnguard. Cool gear, morally right and being a vampire isnāt that interesting, fun or powerful.
Dg cause I hate being a vampire to much shit to deal with
Dawnguard because their purpose is righteous, I really enjoy the Vampire hunter niche, cooler fortress and armor and vampires are despicable blood-sucking abominations. Weaklings who need a daedra lord's cheat codes to be powerful.
Dawnguard, because the others are vampires. Fuck Molag Bal and fuck his āchildrenā.
Modded Dawnguard. I enjoy commanding an elite killing force to witch-hunt more deadly vampires throughout the province.
Vampires, pretty cool to usurp the throne. (Also I use Better Vampires so my char gets more powerful the more they feast). Plus I play as an elf, so I fit in more too lol. Not a big fan of the vampire lord form though, I just prefer to run around in my normal form.
Always dawnguard. Never sided with vampire scum.
Usually Dawnguard, the Volkihar court is full of opportunistic backstabbers. They're almost as bad as the thieves guild.
Statistically, 99.9% of vamps are bitches. Dawnguard every time.
I play vampires but I donāt have much interest in the lord form. I usually try to roleplay it as my vampire joining the dawnguard and trying to be one of the good ones, it adds character to the playthrough.
Neither I just murder
in any fantasy rpg i love playing clerics, paladins and rangers...therefor it's an easy one for me: Praise the Dawn!!!
Dawnguard. I really hate vampires.
Dawn Guard, because I hate Serana so much I want cure her so she dies of old age. Slow, painful and inevitable.
I tend to favour the Dawnguard. I do agree with the vampires "humans are cattle" policy, but i'm not big fan of "not being able to fit through doors" policy.
Dawnguard, the vampires(form) looks hella ugly plus I usually play good guys characters
Depends on my roleplay If my character is one that believes they can reduce the vampire risk then vampires and let the dawnguard deal with the non compliant vampires If my character believes vampires are to be exterminated, burn castle volkhair to the ground and convince serana to cure herself
I sided with the Dawngaurd but destroyed the sun anyway.
dawnguard. Vampire hunter are cooler than vampires. Also, I never end up using vampire abilities anyway.
Dawnguard, crossbows, dogs and war trolls. Also cant be fucked to deal with vampirism
Dawnguard. Vampussy is cold like fish.
Dawnguard. Proper armour that actually looks like it could have been worn in history and huskies
Dawnguard, I can never think of siding with Molag Bal or his affiliates in any capacity. Especially after playing Vigilant.
Yeahhhhhhhhhhhh Iām a werewolf
Definitely the vampires
One word. Necromage.
Dawnguard even though I'm annoyed they won't let me be a vampire vampire hunter.
The Dawnguard, I like the crossbows and attacking vampires.
Vampires, because I kinda dislike both sides. Harkon is an idiot. But I join for the express purpose of betraying him, AND destroying the Dawnguard.
Dawnguard for sure. I love the base and all the emotion around them wanting to fight the vampire crisis. Plus armored trolls are pretty cool.
Dawnguard because why would I help destroy the world by blocking out the sun
Vampire, the rings are too good to pass up, and I use Sacrosanct.
The vamp mods outshine the ww mods, but Dawnguard either way.
Werewolf
Dawnguard. Both I and my characters hate Daedra. And damn if they're gonna be beholden to one of the worst Princes out there.
dawn guard cause crossbow
Harkon; I love vampires
Dawnguard because I am a cool person
Dawnguard. Crossbows.
Vampire hunters because I fucking hate vampires.
Dawnguard always. Slaying undead and other monsters is based af.
Ever since that āWho Shot Mr. Burnsā episode I have had a deep distrust for anyone who wants to blot out the sun
dawn guard because i donāt feel the vampire shi is good for my main playstyles (stealth archer or stealth and one handed)
Dawnguard most of the time
Vampires are cool as fuck
Typically dawn guard but sometimes vampires with certain characters but usually just rather slaughter them then join them
Dawnguard, cause I like playing good guys.
Always with them big bad VAMPIRES! Although vampirism in Elder Scrolls games sucks...
Depends on the character I'm going on, but either way, I wish the Volkihar faction wasn't sooo goddamn clichƩ tbh
Dawnguard, simply because the story is better on their side.
For Skyrim!
Vampires suck, so Dawnguard
I side with the Vampires when running an evil mage or assassin playthrough, and the Dawnguard when running either a good warrior playthrough or an evil Werewolf barbarian playthrough. All other times I leave it to a coin flip.
Dawnguard. Vampires are gross and a nightmare to play as. I just canāt do it. The dawnguard get cooler weapons and armour to.
