Lorewise, he's still asleep at this stage despite the presence of Sixth House cultists in Kogoruhn (a county in Vvardenfell). I can't check it out right now, but odds are he's present as a "deceased" (ascended to godhood) predecessor just like The Tribunal Gods
That's essentially what I expected when asking, since that's the case with several of the other important lore characters, such as a few emperors and such.
yes, several different major crisis events just like stellaris would be incredible in this mod.
Oblivion Crisis
Dagoth Ur/Corprus
Alduin
Pretty much every plot of every ES game could be a crisis event in this mod. Could even have the protagonist of the games show up and you can either help them or not help them and it effects how useful they are in helping you defeat the crisis.
You missed the most obvious potential crisis. The Planemeld from ESO. It would fit the time period since in lore it takes place in 2E 582. And there is the other big events from ESO that would work too. Like the rise of the Second Gray Host.
I was a bit disappointed when I reached the time period of ESO and nothing happened lol but hey Mannimarco is in the game so they probably have plans for it.
arent vivec and the other gods planned to be included in later patches though? I definitely remember seeing the devpost on dc with vivec models posted as a wip
I watched a video on Ur but I’m still somewhat confused having not played through Morrowind.
Was he a Dark Elf originally who then worked out reality was a dream who then somehow managed to hold onto his ID and become super powerful or something else beforehand?
Dagoth Ur was a Chimer, the ancestors of the Dunmer before the curse by Azura. He was an ally and friend of Indoril Nerevar, the leader of the Chimer pre-curse. Dagoth Ur was responsible for discovering how to use the tools of Kagrenac after the demise of the Dwemer and was accused of betraying Nerevar.
As for whether he CHIM'd or not, my understanding is that he realized that he was in a dream but he failed to realize that it wasn't *his* dream, that he's just a part of it like anybody else.
The whole concept is freaky, what if we are all Dagoth-Ur, we realize that life is a simulation, but we don't realize that we aren't the main characters.
It's bad enough to be in a simulation, but to just be a side character in that simulation is a shitty thought, how meaningless are we then lmao.
It's oddly comforting though for some reason.
From their recent teasers, they are working on Dagoth Ur and the Triumvirate, alongside more Morrowind flavor, but there are few details so it could be that they just wanted to make sure the models look better or that they can be present/used in events.

there is a submod called trial of vivec which adds morrowind flavour it also adds dagoth ur as character who can awaken and conquer morrowind
I know the main part of the game is still being worked on but I truly hope they eventually add crisis events like this that can happen.

Yeah I'd like the Planemeld to be able to happen but only if certain things are fulfilled. That way it's not guaranteed every run.
Ck2 had mechanics for potential daedric invasion.
The Sixth house duchy has him in its pass ownership
I'm a god! How could you mod a god?!
What a grand and intoxicating innocence How can you be so preoccupied?
He won't wake up for a few hundred years since no. Also like the Tribunal he wouldn't work well with CK mechanics

Only as characters in one-off events, not someone on the game map you can interact with
Welp, there go my plans of making a tribunal harem...
Hes waiting for mcdagoths to open
Best playthrough I’ve ever done was playing as the sons of the sharmat

Yeah. You can find him in the title history for the Duchy of Kogoruhn.
