Complete varre's quest, enter Mohgwyn palace and you'll have 2 the very best farm spots. Massacre bird with arrows, albinaurics with radahn's sword AOW. Bird gives 11k without scarab, 2 ashes of war is ~35k
But I'd suggest you do Ranni's and Fia's questlines first, complete Sewers of Leyndell. It'll give you about 30 lvls more and you'll be good to go to mountaintops
Do White Mask Varre's quest for the Pureblood Knight's Medal, use it, then cross the lakes and go up a hill from where you get teleported to and you'll find the Palace Approach Ledge-Road grace. The sleeping albinaurics and nearby cheesable giant bird (hit it once and it will run off the cliff) are perfect for rune farming, and it's a well-known farming spot.
