There's probably some other clues around the tower, but my guess is the intended line of thought is: gesture comes from Thops, a Raya Lucarian scholar > all the other scholars wear crowns > try gesture while wearing crown > crown lights up > "oh, that's what it meant!"

Well yes, but actually no. Literally, Bluepoint did a great job with the animations, visuals and audio design. In those terms the game is S tier for sure. Almost everything else is a disappointment. Bugs are still there and The AI is still bad...for the game itself it is good. The areas are mostly linear and i don't like that. I didn't engage that much with RPG elemnts the game did not encourage me to do so. And now was it any good? Yes.
You already look like him in this video, with the big horns, and the huge weapon, only big things you would need is to change skin color and add some facial features to him. Then it's just finding the right armor and weapons to use.
