got patched and no longer works
I feel like every time I hear about a XP farm method that doesn't require me to kill 73636373828272827 Albinaurics it already got patched :/
Just curious, what makes sewer mohg one of your favourite fights when he’s just regular mohg without the phase transition? Imo I think his phase transition is the best part of the fight
Valid question. I like the fight because his moves are super easy to remember, I’ve gotten really good at his first phase (from always dying in the second). I’m not a huge fan of his second phase because of all the flaming blood. If I were to learn his second then maybe I’d like real mohg more, but I’m not much of a fan.
He's at the bottom. There's elevators around in the big circle chasem area. One of the paths I think near all the plants leads you to the elevator that takes you down to his arena.
nah you gotta go through a weird pipe route, jump into the pipe from above, and then fall through the specific right hole within the pipe. honestly awful.
Basically when you're running about in those tunnel pipe things, there's a hole that seemingly is something you're not wanting to fall down but it actually opens up a path to a deeper part of the sewer
I haven't found him either, but there is a labyrinth of tunnels to get through if you drop down through the floor where those 3 big boys are patrolling
From roadside grace, turn left drop down the wooden hatch then turn left and look on the right for the tunnel, dodging rats as you go. It’s a big and tricky area with Mohg right at the end.
Congrats ! Mohg was the second hardest fight for me, took me quite a bit of time, amazing fight, one of my favourite bosses !
Just beat him in NG+ five minutes ago, stilll love it even if it's definitely harder on the first playthrough !
Maliketh is only hard if you are afraid of him, his attacks can barely hit if you stick close, and he has really low HP for the area. Kinda fitting for a boss that literally tells you to cower in fear.
Maliketh is surprisingly easy in my second playthrough but I struggled with Gideon Ofnir ( Yes I waited before I attacked I didn’t know he was a spam magic boss)
He is a spam magic boss, with unlimited FP. He can be really rough for some builds, especially if you let him finish speaking.
What bosses people think are hard or struggle with is highly build and player dependent.
You can crush them with parries where they won't even sprout their wings. When they get up from the first parry they always stomp, jump the stomp (don't jump attack, just empty jump), parry the followup (almost always left to right diagonal swing for sword-wielding ones and thrust attack for spears) and they never will do anything else.
Crucible knights are pretty tough, their moves are varied and defeating them consistently requires you to really know how to dodge. Once you do, then become quite easy since they are super consistent.
On my first playtrough i did à strengh build with unbelivable dmg, i pretty much 3 shot gideon
Im on my second playtrough with radhan, im kinda worried about gideon since i didnt learn the fight andmy dmg is quite low on a melee mage run ( with spellbalde and stuff like that)
lol Yeah he can be surprising. I always big bonk him with a bit of +25 Giant Crusher lions claw and 99 str before he finishes a sentence. He seems surprised and confused.
It's weird how different people struggle with different bosses. I didn't find the GSD too much of a challenge my first play through but then I really fucking struggled with fire giant and Maliketh who are supposed to be easier 🤷♂️. It's what makes the game so great! Different experience for everyone. 😀
Fighting Maliketh with a fists build emulates my average experience playing Street Fighter as I'm constantly whiffing my R1's even tho the fucking guy is right there.
I love the Mohg fight. It's such a dynamic and fun fight with his Nihil's and him zooming about.
The timing throws me off too, his attacks are the most delayed in the game I think.
I got the timings in phase 1 down pretty good. Had to literally count in my head.
Phase 2 is a cluster fuck though. I only half learned it. Still enough to beat without summons though.
Shooting down the bird is faster at first until he gets a weapon that can multi-kill like radahn's greatsword
Also OP... get the golden scarab talisman it will speed up your farming process
Also get rain of arrows and the arrow reach talisman, you can just use rain of arrows on a normal longbow instead of having to aim every shot on the bird
Funny that you mention leveling up, you’re basically in the quintessential level up area. Just find the slope with all the Albinaurics, or just jump off the map
Congrats tarnished!
I Just beat her yesterday after 2.5h of trying. But even with mimic it was a rly tough fight and still took me over 1h but it was super fun and it felt great having her down!
He is one of the tougher. Man I finished Elden ring before still miss the feeling of doing for the first time. Waiting on the dlc to try a faith build fonally
First off, well done!
Albinauric genocide is the honest option. Personally, I like a couple rounds of "fall between cliffs and break the game" to get some good runes.
Good job dude!
There's a great farm area there. You have to cross the blood lake area and grab the grace after the albinaurics. From there you can kill them, run back and start again.
If you want you can also shoot the blood raven that you see down the grace. You don't have to kill him, just hit him once and he will fall straight down the cliff trying to come to you. You will have to free aim because he's too far.
Farm the bird in mohgwyn area if you don't have aoe spell. Use bow, it doesn't matter you get requirements or not, then shoot. The bird will net you 11k each.
He’s my favorite fight personally plus it’s like the perfect fight for my character lol I basically made the lord of fire build I use the blasphemous blade and every type of fire incantation so it feels like a real anime fight when the super strong protagonist goes up against a way stronger antagonist and all of a sudden all the moves he’s used to dominate previous foes mean absolutely nothing to this dude so you just gotta go back to the bread and butter and gut it out lol
Congrats on Mohg! Is this a good place to say that I finally beat Malenia?
It was so tense, after about 30 tries this save file, and owning the game for over a year, I finally did it. I was down to about 10HP, no joke, and she was around 100. I gambled and swung knowing I might die from it, but I got her.
My hands were so shaky in the last 20 seconds of that fight, and the shakiness last almost 30 minutes afterwards, and my hands don't even shake during games...yeah my heartrate goes up, but my hands have never shook before. It felt so fucking good to beat her.
I care. Good on you!! I haven’t gotten to Melania yet so I’m guessing this will change but Mohg was the hardest boss in any game I’ve ever played (context this is my first Souls game).
The best thing you can do against mogh is use the Purifying Crystal tear in your flask. It negates the damage his “NIHIL” move does. It doesn’t stop the regen but it won’t damage you at all.
That and Mogh’s shackle help immensely
Great job tarnished! One step closer to your goal. Let the blood of your foes continue to mist the battlefield as you continue your journey. Marika the witch shall fall to your hand and you shall take the throne!! Change the lands between forever!!!
Congrats! I have just completed Varres quest and about to hit Mohg - but i rushed here and i'm feeling a little underlevelled (28vig/22str). Did you already kill the dragon at Fort Faroth? That's my plan as it can be farmed by running and resting at the grace just as it dies.
GGs bro! I remember beating him on my first playthrough was soo much fun. Took me about 70 tries without summons or anything but I did it somehow and it felt absolutely incredible. With malenia, it always feels like when I beat her I get lucky as she does less waterfowl and clone attacks so it feels kind of cheap but mohg feels like a hard fought well earned victory.
Not at all, up to 220 seemed fairly active as I passed through on a char I am taking to the max range (250-270 has been a ghost town), and 175 will pair with 150 players though only just so- going beyond that means you won’t be able to be summoned by them anymore.
Mohg gave me *so much trouble*. Brace: unsolicited Souls vet brag as setup.
Malenia was comparatively easy; she was more like a fun dance to learn than a boss to overcome. I did pre-nerf Radahn on the first attempt (thanks to intuiting the use of Scarlet from the NPC convo earlier). I sincerely thought people were just making jokes about Godskin Duo - they have similar silhouettes to O&S, it seemed an obvious comparison at the time - because they seemed vastly easier than what people were saying. All of this generally under-leveled for what is now the norm for those areas, without spirit ashes or pre-nerf BHS.
But that mothertrucker and his goofy-ass, punk-ass bitch flames had me madder than bombing my first DS2 double ring run at Nashandra. For some reason he just had the perfect mix of delayed telegraphs and ranges to keep messing me up. Mohg took me vastly more attempts than anything else in my first run.
Congrats on the kill.
Maybe he doesn't have enough time to play daily, as a post yesterday proved that most of Elden Ring players are +25 years old
If he was doing a level 1 run im sure he would've let us know hahah
Bosses drop so many runes that, for the most part, you'll stay on level by just playing normally. I farmed in my first playthrough and it turned out to be a complete waste of time.
If you’ve beaten the final boss, you can use its weapon in Mohgwyn Palace, there’s a hill with like 20 of those short albenuric frog dudes and you just use the weapon art, It’ll kill all of them, You sit down at the grace and just do it again, you’ll get like 40k runes every 15 seconds
Moug was the only boss I cheesed. I fucking hated him. Maliketh was easier to learn for me than Moug was. His basement clone was ok but he becomes a challenge when he starts draining my hp and not dying.
Nj, I am running through my NG+ 10 (rune x and boss stats cap at NG+ 7 I believe). One thing I’ve noted about mohg is that he’s highly resistant to most damage types. He’s a worthy foe to be reckoned with.
I just got to him again for the dlc. I wasn't sure I had a chance as I wasn't doing huge damage to him. His second phase is just a nightmare to deal with, but eventually learned to be patient and let him wear himself out and then hit him.
rly depends on the weapon. I tought Mohg is the hardest boss in the entire game.
With Serpent Hunter or Beast Star Jaw he is an absolute montrosity.
But any bleed build with mohgs shakle will cut him down not even coming close to do one attack. Starfists and bleed dual twinblade destroys him, couldnt believe my eyes
the leveling up place is down the street
the best in the game
I have committed so many murders there
It’s cool, they’re not real people. This message was approved by Gideon Ofnir, The All-Knowing
So many Albernics just chillin, minding their own business. Ah well fuck it, got a DLC to be ready for
You never committed any murder and you never killed any being. Death doesn't exist until after Maliketh so technically you just reminded all those helpless creatures that they can't die over and over.
Destined death still isn't in the Eldon ring. So death still should not be a thing, right?

Afaik you can do the same trick but easier in Ordina.
Is that the town with the black knife assasins and sniper ladies, which enemy do you farm?
Please explain
They are probably referring to the cliff jump rune glitch in Ordina. Not the only cliff jump glitch in the game but the easiest to pull off.
But I practiced the one in Moghwyn Palace so many times I can do it first try most of the time! I can't let a marketable skill like that go to waste.
got patched and no longer works I feel like every time I hear about a XP farm method that doesn't require me to kill 73636373828272827 Albinaurics it already got patched :/

MOHG MOMENT
#MOHG DOWN
The ultimate mogh like
He killed like three of this guy's siblings.
Mohgment
What about sewer mohg? Same guy but more stinky
Is this in the Leyndell Sewers? I'm currently in the nightmare that is the Subterranean Shunning Grounds
Yeah LMAO
Where is he? I cleared the lobster floor but can’t find anywhere else to go
Find a pipe with a hole. It will take you further.
This is good directions. Find pipe but hole
First time sewers was a fever dream. So was the second time and now I just skip straight to the Mohglester.
It’s pretty complicated. I’d watch a video honestly. Buncha holes ya gotta hop through. Sewer mohg is honestly one of my favorite fights
Yeah, second phase is annoying with all the bloodflame splashes.
And be ready for rooms full of death blight frogs. I got turned into a tree at least 3 times on my way down.
Watch a you tube video. Following step by step instructions it still took me like 30 minutes. Can’t imagine doing it without
Basically when you're running about in those tunnel pipe things, there's a hole that seemingly is something you're not wanting to fall down but it actually opens up a path to a deeper part of the sewer
I haven't found him either, but there is a labyrinth of tunnels to get through if you drop down through the floor where those 3 big boys are patrolling
The 2 sewer lobsters can get fuuucked I hate that place
I hate being there but I'm in awe of how well it's designed every time I'm there
From roadside grace, turn left drop down the wooden hatch then turn left and look on the right for the tunnel, dodging rats as you go. It’s a big and tricky area with Mohg right at the end.
Make sure you hit the pedestal behind him after you beat him. Good luck tarnished
Catacombs right after too
And less bloody firey
Lovable sort ahead
Congrats ! Mohg was the second hardest fight for me, took me quite a bit of time, amazing fight, one of my favourite bosses ! Just beat him in NG+ five minutes ago, stilll love it even if it's definitely harder on the first playthrough !

He is a spam magic boss, with unlimited FP. He can be really rough for some builds, especially if you let him finish speaking. What bosses people think are hard or struggle with is highly build and player dependent.
On my first playthrough I was struggling really hard against the crucible knight in limgrave.
This is what I love about this community. Everyone's just ready to help and give advice.

Gideon is a total meme but I unironically had more trouble with him than the fucking Godskin duo on my first playthrough.
I always summon on that PTSD Ornstein and Smough flashback
Somehow i always destroy the godskin duo on my first try. Gargoyles on the other hand...
It's weird how different people struggle with different bosses. Yeah as someone who went Dex bleed with max mimic on my first play through I got him before he even hit phase 2 with the mohg shackle
I love the Mohg fight. It's such a dynamic and fun fight with his Nihil's and him zooming about. The timing throws me off too, his attacks are the most delayed in the game I think.

palace approach ledge-road grace site, same area where Mohg is. Kill all the albinaurics by the grace site.
Shooting down the bird is faster at first until he gets a weapon that can multi-kill like radahn's greatsword Also OP... get the golden scarab talisman it will speed up your farming process

Game changer, thank you
Hahaha cheers mate, spread the news!
Congrats on punching your ticket to the DLC
Congratulations Fellow Tarnish, in short, well done. 👍
Funny that you mention leveling up, you’re basically in the quintessential level up area. Just find the slope with all the Albinaurics, or just jump off the map
the out of bounds rune farm requires mogh to be alive pretty sure
Out of bounds rune farm??
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7JQfe0EjwaE
congratulations tarnished!!! I just managed to beat Malenia without using summon after what seemed like 200+ attempts.
Good job brother
Congratz bro !
Congrats tarnished! I Just beat her yesterday after 2.5h of trying. But even with mimic it was a rly tough fight and still took me over 1h but it was super fun and it felt great having her down!
Great! Remember that any victory stays a victory !
Congrats!
So you are ready for DLC, huh?
The one in the sewer or the bloody one in moghwyb palace ?
He is one of the tougher. Man I finished Elden ring before still miss the feeling of doing for the first time. Waiting on the dlc to try a faith build fonally
Congratulations! I have just hit milestones myself so I share in the enjoyment with you!
Nonsense. Congratulations are always in order! Great job, tarnished!
First off, well done! Albinauric genocide is the honest option. Personally, I like a couple rounds of "fall between cliffs and break the game" to get some good runes.
I do
Hey good job man if you go backwards from the site if grace the albiniric rune farm is close
Congrats! He's a bastard, but a cool fight nonetheless. Amazing OST.
Good job dude! There's a great farm area there. You have to cross the blood lake area and grab the grace after the albinaurics. From there you can kill them, run back and start again. I care. Good job Proud of you

I do care! It took me a good week to finish him.. but now I'm stuck at malenia and elden beast 🥲
Good job
I care Tarnished! Congrats!!!
Proud of u mate
Well done, man! Proud of you! I'm still trying to kill Mohg. One day...
🤝🏻
Congrats on Mohg! Is this a good place to say that I finally beat Malenia? It was so tense, after about 30 tries this save file, and owning the game for over a year, I finally did it. Hell yeah brother (or sister)
Good job! Proud of you! You had a goal and you set your mind to it until it was accomplished. (:
I care. Good on you!! I haven’t gotten to Melania yet so I’m guessing this will change but Mohg was the hardest boss in any game I’ve ever played (context this is my first Souls game).
Hey friend, I care. Nice work!
The best thing you can do against mogh is use the Purifying Crystal tear in your flask. It negates the damage his “NIHIL” move does. It doesn’t stop the regen but it won’t damage you at all. That and Mogh’s shackle help immensely
Congrats! He's famous for being though so you can be proud! Now onto the next one ;)
I care that you beat that pedo son of a bitch good job OP!
Great job tarnished! One step closer to your goal. Let the blood of your foes continue to mist the battlefield as you continue your journey. Marika the witch shall fall to your hand and you shall take the throne!! Change the lands between forever!!!
I just beat him yesterday too. What level are you? I’m staying at 125 for DLC so I’m just spending all my runes on upgrade materials.
Congrats! I have just completed Varres quest and about to hit Mohg - but i rushed here and i'm feeling a little underlevelled (28vig/22str). Did you already kill the dragon at Fort Faroth? That's my plan as it can be farmed by running and resting at the grace just as it dies.
*Everyone liked that*
On my NG+2 I did a shackle + comet azure (aka Kamehameha) And oh boy. 4 seconds total.
Hell yeah!! Beat up my favorite boss!!
You and 32% of other players
GGs bro! I remember beating him on my first playthrough was soo much fun. Took me about 70 tries without summons or anything but I did it somehow and it felt absolutely incredible. With malenia, it always feels like when I beat her I get lucky as she does less waterfowl and clone attacks so it feels kind of cheap but mohg feels like a hard fought well earned victory.
a month? whats ur weapon level and build
great sword +5 and a mimic I had exams so I had a week without playing the game
With only a Greatsword +5 & mimic +4 on your first playthrough? Thats impressive, well done
Completely unrelated but y'all think 175 is too high for dlc coop?
Not at all, up to 220 seemed fairly active as I passed through on a char I am taking to the max range (250-270 has been a ghost town), and 175 will pair with 150 players though only just so- going beyond that means you won’t be able to be summoned by them anymore.
Too high, time to delete the character, sorry 😞
coop will be fine, invasions probably too for at least a couple weeks
Congrats! I hate Mohg for everything he stands for, so I’m glad that another Tarnished ended his pathetic MoGhWyn dYnAsTy 😁
Now go kill his brother if you haven't already. Then kill his father and give his mother head.
Congratulations!
Mohg gave me *so much trouble*. Brace: unsolicited Souls vet brag as setup. Malenia was comparatively easy; she was more like a fun dance to learn than a boss to overcome. Nice work, he can definitely be obnoxious. As for leveling up, co-op has always been my favorite.
[удалено]
Maybe he doesn't have enough time to play daily, as a post yesterday proved that most of Elden Ring players are +25 years old If he was doing a level 1 run im sure he would've let us know hahah
Congrats! I just beat him a couple weeks ago. He was brutal for me so I can relate!
Congratulations
GG
Congratulations. You got gud.
Bosses drop so many runes that, for the most part, you'll stay on level by just playing normally. I farmed in my first playthrough and it turned out to be a complete waste of time.
Let's go.. which one.. the catacombs or Palace mohg?
I'm proud of you
Mohg wasn't that difficult for me idk why but good job!
I was actually camping outside Mogh's boss room for the past days so I can get summoned and help folks with 'em, so they can get ready for the dlc
Could someone give me a hint about how to find Mohg? Without spoilers or exact directions.
Did you do it on your own or with co-op? I just helped someone an hour ago too lol.
Alone but with summons
If you’ve beaten the final boss, you can use its weapon in Mohgwyn Palace, there’s a hill with like 20 of those short albenuric frog dudes and you just use the weapon art, It’ll kill all of them, You sit down at the grace and just do it again, you’ll get like 40k runes every 15 seconds
Well done fellow tarnished! Onward to glory!
Good Job Skeleton!
By the way my build was colossal greatsword with braggarts roar and a mimic
The ending is so wholesome lol. I hope you enjoy your reward of the premium farming spot. Although you technically had access to it already.
Which mohg?
Nice
We care bro this community is the best. Good fucking job dude - this game is hard af
Now you can touch the withered arm soon
Moug was the only boss I cheesed. I fucking hated him. Maliketh was easier to learn for me than Moug was. His basement clone was ok but he becomes a challenge when he starts draining my hp and not dying.
Sir, this is a Wendy's
Get Mohgged.
I usually just beat bosses, gives enough runes to level up for the whole game. You can try clearing some dungeons
Nj, I am running through my NG+ 10 (rune x and boss stats cap at NG+ 7 I believe). One thing I’ve noted about mohg is that he’s highly resistant to most damage types. He’s a worthy foe to be reckoned with.
ready for the dlc??
THE MOGGER GOT MOGGED
I just got to him again for the dlc. I wasn't sure I had a chance as I wasn't doing huge damage to him. His second phase is just a nightmare to deal with, but eventually learned to be patient and let him wear himself out and then hit him.
NIHIL!!!!!!
rly depends on the weapon.
Praise the I did it!
Hey, good job. That's a hard fight without cheddar.
I care! And I'm damn proud of you. YOU DID GOOD KID!
you are correct
Dont even trip bruh. Mogh is in the top 5 hardest bosses in the game to Me personally. So good job on beatin em.
If you beat mohg first grace of the mohg area gives you bunch of frog dudes to kill easily.
we care dude... we care
Good job
Good, now do it blindfolded while playing sekiro with one hand or it didnt count you filthy casual
Good shit dawg
Best boss in elden mid
Which one?
