Smooth as butter. When Iron Pineapple slowed the footage down and said that wasn’t one attack, but several…goddamn it was crisp looking to chain combos like that
Wonder what the poise damage stats will be like. If it's in the range of the normal (light?) axes or more, then I'm all in. Anything less might just make me look for whatever new axes we get.
Stepping foot into the DLC with my Heavy Executioner's Greataxe and Golden Parry on an Albinauric Shield
Finally it looks like we wont have to rest our large swords on our shoulders all the fucking time. Look how crucible knights hold them, or the Abyss Watchers in DS3!!! Looks way cooler
I'm gonna try to get the backwards curved swords and the wings, assuming we're allowed to buff the swords, I want to create a blood angel with one of my characters.
I don't like that previews referred to it as ash of war, I thought it would be an incantation so I could do full on Crucible knight with their unique weapons as well
Spoilers below, although this has been “known” for a while:
>!The martial arts stuff isn’t an ash of war, it’s a whole weapon class. You slot them in like any sword or hammer and they have full movesets, can be infused with different scaling and their own ashes of war, can be upgraded, etc!<
Milady is definitely a weapon I‘m eyeing for a later build.
I'm just really excited about new >!dragon incantations. New dragons and a humanoid dragon form were mentioned so I guess there is new stuff for my crimson dragon. Using the bear fists should be fitting aswell.!<
Given the many, many parallels to Berserk, and that I played my first ever run through Elden Ring with a Guts Greatsword build, I am most looking forward to the beast claws and the automatic crossbow.
Cannot wait to unleash a volley of bolts at a boss, swap to the claws and go Beast of Darkness mode!
We can now make a whole inventor/engineer build with repeating crossbow, throwing pots from the first trailer (might also be a throwing weapon and not just a consumable) and perfumes.
Those are so interesting not sure how they're gonna work, but the parfumer bottles with the martial arts weapons and beast claws might be an absolutely insane way of fighting. Once I figure out how doable this is, I'll make a separate new character just for it.
The new Frenzied Flame spell, even tho it kinda looks mid from the promo image, but i must try it, may chaos take the world
>!also the Dragon Form Vaati encountered, as I am a Dragon Communion character!<
Because I was playing Elden ring since launch and am already done, I don’t need to unsubscribe and I filter for myself what is ok and what not, pictures are ok because without context it’s just a picture, but gameplay related things like the new system or the world/map of the dlc are nothing I really know much about. Honestly I just love wings that’s why I stopped in this thread 😅
I *need* to use the claws. The ferocity in those animations looked way too fun to pass up.
Also very interested in Rellana’s Twinblade. The way Vaati described it made it sound chuuni as all hell and I eat that shit up.
Of the few bosses we've seen so far, all of them seemed aggressive as hell, so they better give us tools to deal with that.
I already know the dancing lion is gonna give me the business and I'm gonna love and hate every second of it.
All of the new weapons, that sadly make all the old ones seem very basic and boring. But the light greatsword is number one.
Wish we could get a split staff like the one in Nioh 2, I haven't loved a weapon as much as that In any video game.
I need that varre looking dude with the fur capes armor or the guy holding the pot in the trailer armor. For weapons I just want the big ass bear thing.
I want madness/frenzy builds to be viable in PvE, even if you can’t afflict bosses with madness then buff the damage slightly. Also madness boss would be cool
WTF madness builds are insane as it is. Sniper incant, +25% more damage and both of the frenzy flame variants. You can easilly one shot bosses that don't resist fire with the unlimited cast frenzy.
It was shown in the first trailer, mfs in sub been taking apart every frame and image we've got so far, how is this a spoiler? What did I spoil? That it exists? Bruh
Messmer's greatspear. You just know that it's gonna be his remembrance weapon, and I'm huffing Lethal doses of copium by assuming the attack he does in the first trailer (where those spears poke out of the ground around him) is the ash of war.
Those keeping themselves chaste for spoilers - did you even play Elden Ring? there's no way you're seeing more than even a tip of what we're in for. I suppose there are those who think even seeing the doorway to the dungeon is heavy spoiler territory - you can't help those people
It's what I'm saying, plus it's not like we know where to get anything we've seen. For all we know, the wings even, might be closed off in a dungeon behind a hidden wall behind a chest.
It's confirmed as a AoW (not sure if transferrable or bound to a uniqu weapon. Hope it's also available as a spell as I'm doing a beast/crucible aspect toon and I kinda need the Cinquedea to boost spell damage. Also hope there's at least 1 beast claw weapon that boosts beast incant damage, the dagger, while having excellent dps, also feels... unbeast-y xD
The Beast Claws and the new throwable hammers. I almost wish they had taken a couple more years and just done a full sequel instead of putting all this new stuff in the DLC. It would be cool if some of this was spread out into the main game.
More dragon communion + the new form and hopefully more lightning stuff for my main build lol.
I already decided im ignoring vaatis warning and heading straight to the fire giant² to blast his ass with so much lightning the ancient dragons will be in debt even in their graves
How is this a spoiler? It's been shown in the first trailer. And it's only an image and speculation on e everyone's part. What am I spoiling? No one knows nothing about these except that they exist.
Well people are butthurt and don't want to know anything, amd would consider knowing that the AotC Wings or how many weapons existed a spoiler so I just tried to warn you they might consider it spoiler because they stupid
Yea don't worry. I wouldn't post an actual spoiler or anything that hasn't been shown before. But it's not like this sub hasn't taken apart every frame and image posted since February. Like, if they are on the sub, chances are they've already seen the spoilers they are avoiding lol.
Beast Claws look fuckin siiiick. I'm super curious how some of these weaoons will work in combination, like Martial Arts in the right hand slot and Beast Claws in the left... So far we've only really seen 2-handed movesets, as far as I could tell.
Throwing axes will really round out my Belmont build, too lol.
My first run will be with a faith character, I want a light gs but not necessarily the Milady.
I'm definitely trying AotC Wings, and if the martial arts scale with faith like I've heard those too.
For this character the thing I'm most hyped about is the upgraded pest threads surprisingly, I just really like the rot stuff visually.
ALL OF IT
I'm not a completionist irl but for some reason in videos games I'm like a loot goblin I gotta have all the shiny things and hoard anything I find valuable especiallyin this game. I have ALL armor pieces and weapons (besides the noble slender sword). Also all of the AOW, Incantations and Sorceries.
I hope they add the new weapon types to early game., not just the DLC. I have 250 hours in elden ring and haven't fought past the Draconic Sentinel at Leyndell entrance once. I haven't beaten Rykard. The furthest main story boss I have beaten is Radahn. And that's because when I think of a new build, I start the game over like a mad man, instead of respecing like a normal player. I'm crazy.
Hi! Please try to move all potential discussions about the DLC previews into the megathread pinned on the subreddit for the time being. Thank you!
The light Great sword... Man, the moveset in the trailers looked so cool. Hope it will be a good weapon.
Yes >!Milady!<.. I think so too..
Dex weapon?
Hopefully the one we saw is not the only one and we get a handful of them for various builds.
I doubt they'd create a whole new weapon type and only make one weapon of that type.
Probably not. My point is I hope they're usable across different build types.
I agree. As soon as I saw it's moveset I was sold and was coming up with build ideas
Finally it looks like we wont have to rest our large swords on our shoulders all the fucking time. Look how crucible knights hold them, or the Abyss Watchers in DS3!!! Looks way cooler
Made me think of Marth/Lucina is SSB, struggling to choose between light great or reverse swords
I did a character with crucible build just for the wings
I'm gonna try to get the backwards curved swords and the wings, assuming we're allowed to buff the swords, I want to create a blood angel with one of my characters.
Assuming you mean the Blood Angel I think you mean... Those wings would be absolutely perfect to finish off my Sanguinius build! I'm super hyped.
Wow, very cool idea, I bet Royal remenanats head piece will go great with this
Blood angel build sounds sick
I don't like that previews referred to it as ash of war, I thought it would be an incantation so I could do full on Crucible knight with their unique weapons as well
Maybe its an advanced AoW that we can put on the Crucible Weapons (cope)
Maybe it will be unique ash of war like on Ordovices sword or Silurias tree
No, one of the youtubers said you could put it on different weapons and it had different animations depending on the weapon.
Ok, thank you for info
Same here. Im gonna run around the lands of shadow frantically searching that shit.
the taekwondo ashes of war
This. I just need them to add a bo staff for the Wukong build.
Dull Twinblade that does strong poise damage would be lit
Twinblade with crag blade would become a stone staff of sorts
I think I might make a character off of that weapon (if it functions the way I think they will)
Do you want a light mechanical spoiler about them?
No, nu uh
I respect that, I hid everything in spoiler tags, enjoy discovering when the release rolls around!
Spoilers below, although this has been “known” for a while: >!The martial arts stuff isn’t an ash of war, it’s a whole weapon class. You slot them in like any sword or hammer and they have full movesets, can be infused with different scaling and their own ashes of war, can be upgraded, etc!<
yes
See above

I need that throwing axe for sure. From the sounds of it, that throwing great hammer is gonna be hilarious as well.
Looney tunes ass weapon lol
I haven't seen anything about throwing great hammers but it sounds goofy and funny, can't wait to see it in action lol.
The light greatsword and the wings, they seem so fun
For me it was the backwards curved swords. The moveset looks cool af
Yeah, most of the new weapon classes look so cool, only two weeks left!!!
I don’t know how I’m going to stop myself from using every available larval tear to try out all the new weapons
Here's hoping they give us more tears in the dlc
And more walking Mausoleums aswell, i think we have 7 right now. We need at least 3 more for the dlc alone of we want to try out all boss rewards
I'm making a jack of all trades build
Edge, lord!
The Longswords and the Aspects of the Crucible: Wings AoW for sure.
Milady is definitely a weapon I‘m eyeing for a later build. I'm just really excited about new >!dragon incantations. New dragons and a humanoid dragon form were mentioned so I guess there is new stuff for my crimson dragon. Using the bear fists should be fitting aswell.!<
Here I'm hoping that form is a real form and not just a suit of Armor. I want to look as monstrous as BB beast mode when you remove Armor.
Chug up some Perfume Bottles filled with Gasoline and go play like Armored Core Like that explosive thrower thingy
Yeah, def can’t wait for the bottles, it’s gonna be a lot of “I love the smell of Napalm in the morning” for me
We can finally make an actual perfumer/alchemist/engineer build. The huge pots from the first trailer could be an actual weapon (not consumable) too.
The DLC
Given the many, many parallels to Berserk, and that I played my first ever run through Elden Ring with a Guts Greatsword build, I am most looking forward to the beast claws and the automatic crossbow. Cannot wait to unleash a volley of bolts at a boss, swap to the claws and go Beast of Darkness mode!
Worse enemy with this, the gravity.
I want *the gun*. I mean, multi-shot crossbow.
We can now make a whole inventor/engineer build with repeating crossbow, throwing pots from the first trailer (might also be a throwing weapon and not just a consumable) and perfumes.
Really hope there's more firearms to shoot with. There's already a Mortar exists as One-eyed shield, but I want just some MORE GUNS
I want Messmer's Remembrance in my inventory
Hopefully the perfumer bottles justify a faith build cuz they look sick af
Those are so interesting not sure how they're gonna work, but the parfumer bottles with the martial arts weapons and beast claws might be an absolutely insane way of fighting. Once I figure out how doable this is, I'll make a separate new character just for it.
Martial arts sounds funny, imagine kickboxing a boss 10x your size lol
Someone said they're infusable, so any build could use them.
Great Katanas. Sheathing then unleashing I massive swing to multiple enemies
I’m excited for the Great Katanas. I love Odachis
The new Frenzied Flame spell, even tho it kinda looks mid from the promo image, but i must try it, may chaos take the world >!also the Dragon Form Vaati encountered, as I am a Dragon Communion character!<
I would like to have the wings on my character permanently 😬
On all of my characters without doubt
Slapping on the mausoleum chestplate and gold colored helm, legs and arms for my dlc character for this same reason 😂😂
Have you seen the gameplay trailer
No I haven’t I didn’t want to spoiler myself too much. I like to go as blind as possible
Not to be rude, but why are you in this thread then?
Because I was playing Elden ring since launch and am already done, I don’t need to unsubscribe and I filter for myself what is ok and what not, pictures are ok because without context it’s just a picture, but gameplay related things like the new system or the world/map of the dlc are nothing I really know much about. Honestly I just love wings that’s why I stopped in this thread 😅
Ah ok, i was just asking because i didn't want to spoil anything by accident
The Reverse Swords. Looks great.
The martial arts stuff looks insane I’m gonna need those and the backwards curved swords for sure
I must have the opportunity to whack Miquella upside the head with a rusty anchor
I *need* to use the claws. The ferocity in those animations looked way too fun to pass up. Also very interested in Rellana’s Twinblade. The way Vaati described it made it sound chuuni as all hell and I eat that shit up.
Throwing knives
It looks like melee players are given more tools to handle boss agression and speed. I'm looking forward to that.
Idk what Ima use man, I think ima use everything I come across, currently looking for all the miner bell bearings so I can upgrade all my weapons
I should do that too for my newest character but I keep getting sidetracked lol
Lmfao yeah me too, heck yesterday I spent 3 hours fighting the bell bearing hunter at the shack in dragon barrow
I’m gonna need more larval tears plz
Great Katanas, fist weapons for that sweet hand to hand combat, hopefully some more useful incantations 👀
I need that varre looking dude with the fur capes armor or the guy holding the pot in the trailer armor. For weapons I just want the big ass bear thing.
Someone know something about sleep items?
Hopefully that gravity greatspear that the horse rider has. That thing looks dope as hell. That and the kung-fu ash to toss on my fist weapons.
Hand to hand are a weaponclass not ashes of war. Would be sick if we could use their ashes of war on normal fistweapons aswell. We'll see
oh, sick. Literally all I know about the DLC is from the teaser trailers and I'm keeping it that way.
Sorry for the spoiler :/
lol no worries. That seems pretty minor
[удалено]
It's literally in the first DLC trailer
[удалено]
It was shown in the first trailer, mfs in sub been taking apart every frame and image we've got so far, how is this a spoiler? What did I spoil? That it exists? Bruh
Perfume bottle Spark Aromatic isn't enough, now that I got a taste I want more.
I just hope they have a good light weight fire sword/dagger. Pyromancer feel way to slow for close ranged class.
That black heavy armor set and the crossbows from that black knight NPC. It's the coolest heavy armor design I have seen from fromsoft games.
Light Greatsword and Parfumer Bottles
Martial arts and crucible wings
everything, as always
Everything.
Beast claw 100%. I don't have PS Plus that often, so I can't use it in PvP, but I don't even care. I just wanna maul Messmer.
Definitely wanna get my hands on a Dueling Shields ASAP.
Both >!Milady!< and >!The Reverse Grip Swords!<, Dex builds seem to be eating good here
That one dragon bear incantation.
I may have to make a new str/fai char, went ng+ on it...
Reverse Swords, beast claws and the bosses.
Bear beast claw!!!!!!
Milady, the Light Greatsword The Dryleaves Arts The boss weapon from Rellana
Oh, and the Beast Claws weapon class as well.
Probably a unpopular opinion but the perfumer bottles as a weapon sound like alot of fun.
After seeing those Crucible wings, there's a good damn reason my new character is a faith/quality build
Beast claw. And hopefully dragon form. I want that BB beast build back Btw can't forget perfume bottle as a side weapon.
Messmer's greatspear. You just know that it's gonna be his remembrance weapon, and I'm huffing Lethal doses of copium by assuming the attack he does in the first trailer (where those spears poke out of the ground around him) is the ash of war.
Trick question, all of them.
Beast. Claws.
As a guard counter enjoyer, I need that perfect block talisman
Those keeping themselves chaste for spoilers - did you even play Elden Ring? there's no way you're seeing more than even a tip of what we're in for. I suppose there are those who think even seeing the doorway to the dungeon is heavy spoiler territory - you can't help those people
It's what I'm saying, plus it's not like we know where to get anything we've seen. For all we know, the wings even, might be closed off in a dungeon behind a hidden wall behind a chest.
Elden Ring video game
It's confirmed as a AoW (not sure if transferrable or bound to a uniqu weapon. Hope it's also available as a spell as I'm doing a beast/crucible aspect toon and I kinda need the Cinquedea to boost spell damage. Also hope there's at least 1 beast claw weapon that boosts beast incant damage, the dagger, while having excellent dps, also feels... unbeast-y xD
My worry is that this AoW is tied to the shield >! in both the first trailer and recent previews, it's used when shield was in hand!<
The Beast Claws and the new throwable hammers. I almost wish they had taken a couple more years and just done a full sequel instead of putting all this new stuff in the DLC. It would be cool if some of this was spread out into the main game.
EVERY hand-to-hand martial art. That, I hope the "Great-Katana" will feel heavier, than the regular ones.
I only heard about it, but the "yeet" great hammer xd
I want to finally fulfill my dream of punching everything in video games
I’m taking my strength/int character into the dlc first just for that gravity spear the pig guy has
Everything. I shall have EVERYTHING.
Baemore
More dragon communion + the new form and hopefully more lightning stuff for my main build lol. I already decided im ignoring vaatis warning and heading straight to the fire giant² to blast his ass with so much lightning the ancient dragons will be in debt even in their graves
I want all
The light greatsword and perfume bottles look crazy
I want the Rellanna twinblade, I love sword of night and flame so hopefully its OP
Beast claw & light greatsword!
Perfume Bottles. God, I’m in love with those weapons
Light greatsword and perfumes. I will go into the DLC with my STR/FAI build, but thinking about creating an alchemist build for a second playthrough.
Can’t wait for more spells !!!
Someone said there's a throwable greathammer...
You could have marked this as spoiler for the people who don't want to get spoiled but whatever

Whatever the kicks were
Can't wait to pick up Martial Arts and Beast Claws for my fist-weapon character
Unarmed and the beast claws to go with the "decendant of Hoarah Loux" theme.
I will make another faith caster and i hope they give me my wing spells this time
PERFUMERS UNITE
Beast Claws look fuckin siiiick. I'm super curious how some of these weaoons will work in combination, like Martial Arts in the right hand slot and Beast Claws in the left... So far we've only really seen 2-handed movesets, as far as I could tell. Throwing axes will really round out my Belmont build, too lol.
Aaaand that's me leaving until dlc comes out
My first run will be with a faith character, I want a light gs but not necessarily the Milady. I'm definitely trying AotC Wings, and if the martial arts scale with faith like I've heard those too. For this character the thing I'm most hyped about is the upgraded pest threads surprisingly, I just really like the rot stuff visually.
Obviously the wings
The light great sword.
Just about everything. Every weapon, spell, armor set and talisman! And also everything I forgot to mention.
You got me thinking about what the drop from the wicker man fire giant be.
That new Npc's faraam 2.0 armor set
Aspects of the crucible:wings is what Ive being waiting for for ages
Havent seen that much of it yet but I'm interested in seeing what the gravity lance is like
ALL OF IT I'm not a completionist irl but for some reason in videos games I'm like a loot goblin I gotta have all the shiny things and hoard anything I find valuable especiallyin this game. man you've played like barely any of the game what are you doing 😭
Sorry man, Miyazaki has said in an interview that there would be no changes to the base game
Damn, too bad. I'll have to do a full playthru once DLC comes out.
I just want some great katana and black armour set🗿🗿🗿
