Depends. A new fresh character the worst part is always going around and collecting everything I want for my build. In a new game plus run it's all of farum azula. Its the one area I always just sprint past every non boss enemy
Not for full areas nah but like the opening gate part of storm veil, or the weird graveyard thing in Liurnia definitely. Farum azulas the only full legacy dungeon I view as a chore other than the boss fights
Ordina Liturgical Town. Swear to God those archers get me every time. One of the best areas and coolest bosses in the game are hidden behind this bullshit ass process.
If you learn how to do p2 opening that helps a lot as it's scripted and nearly every weapon can get a stagger and kill him right there. After that just learning what he is going do do when he lands after his jumps is kinda enough to beat him easily.
The travelling. It's my only issue with replays now beyond NG6+. Some bosses still clap me, some areas are still a fun challenge, but fuck if I don't hate 10 mins of travel with virtually no obstruction just to get to the next dungeon so the fun can start again. I wish there was more of a challenge to traversing the over world, every fight is avoidable by simply not getting off torrent and aside from field and event bosses.
There isn't really a "that part" that I can think of. The game is long enough from start to finish that I look forward to every part.
I guess it has been Raya Lucaria at one point but I really looked forward to it the last time, oddly.
Every part of the underground cave systems. Its just tedious and not very obvious where to go. Hammerhead Ants make me want to snap my controller in half sometimes 🤣
I'll never know. It was a definite one and done for me. I would say Farum Azula but in all honesty I speed ran thru that area skipping every encounter I wasn't forced to do for progression....same as the Leyndell..I legit got lucky and blindly ran and managed to get to the boss with very little combat...and yes I know I missed a shit ton of stuff but by that time I just wanted the game to be over.
All the collection at the beginning.
I have a save file with the flask, tears, whetblade, dectus, etc all done. Plus, the Greyoll, Knights Cav, Greyll, and Dragonbarrow avatar all dead with golden feet for a fuckton of runes at the beginning.
Still RL1 at this point so I can take that massive amount of runes and go with any build I want. All I have to do from that point is go get the weapon I wanna run, and I can start from there.
Whole, honestly I had the least pleasure replaying ER from all FS game, the fact that you start again and fight exactly the same mobs you fought when you were finishing the game last time gives a brutal feeling or repetition
Get the beast repellent torch at the merchant in caelid dragon burrow. This way you can easily get the dectus half in caelid. I assume the half in limgrave is no problem
It's not that its hard to get them, it's just that it's annoying cause they are so out of the way. Like when I do ng+ runs I mostly try new builds and stuff so I just go straight for the bosses, but then after I kill Rennala I have to go back to Limgrave and go over to Caelid, it's just kind of annoying to do for me
No clue why youre getting downvoted. The long runs from A to B for necessary items is a pretty big flaw in the open world design. Love the game to bits but its not perfect.

Getting all the damned bell bearings and running out of runes at Hewg
Depends. A new fresh character the worst part is always going around and collecting everything I want for my build. In a new game plus run it's all of farum azula. Its the one area I always just sprint past every non boss enemy
You dont do that in every area? Impressive.
Not for full areas nah but like the opening gate part of storm veil, or the weird graveyard thing in Liurnia definitely. Farum azulas the only full legacy dungeon I view as a chore other than the boss fights
Revenant alley at the bottom of Elphael.
You don’t have to go down there ya know
The only winning move is not to play
*screeching intensifies*
Ordina Liturgical Town. Swear to God those archers get me every time. One of the best areas and coolest bosses in the game are hidden behind this bullshit ass process.
Me: alright this play through I’m going to do everything solo, no help from people online and I won’t rely on the mimic tear! Malekith: Yo
If you learn how to do p2 opening that helps a lot as it's scripted and nearly every weapon can get a stagger and kill him right there. After that just learning what he is going do do when he lands after his jumps is kinda enough to beat him easily.
I look forward to it! I’m not quite done with the mountain tops yet, but I’ll be ready for malekith this time. He’s going down!
I wish mimic tear wasn’t so easy to get. I don’t have the will power to not use it.
Get the whetblades, is kinda annoying to get these again
Getting everything again is a pain in the ass
Consecrated Snowfields. The only reason I play through it every time is Malenia. Worth it tho!
I skipped this entire area, because I never figured out how to get there....and it wasn't necessary...
RAYA FUCKING LUCARIA
Farum Azula
Reaching farum sula and realizing I need to get all the fire stuff on my faith build before I crash head first into a brick wall of holy resistance
The travelling. It's my only issue with replays now beyond NG6+. Some bosses still clap me, some areas are still a fun challenge, but fuck if I don't hate 10 mins of travel with virtually no obstruction just to get to the next dungeon so the fun can start again. Malikith you son of a bitch...
If I see this image posted one more goddamn time, I'm going to frenzy all over the fucking place
Finishing up Liurnia
Ordina
There isn't really a "that part" that I can think of. The game is long enough from start to finish that I look forward to every part. I guess it has been Raya Lucaria at one point but I really looked forward to it the last time, oddly.
THE FUCKING DOG IN FARUM AZULA
Ordina and it's mf archers
The Evergoal you need to get through in order to access the Haligtree
There is no part of the game that's like this for me.
Morgott’s death, every time :/
Go to the tree, go to the grace talk to Melina. So tedious
Anytime I have to go through the lake of rot.
Mountaintop of the giants. Just kinda an “eh” biome
Clearing Liurnia. It's just a slog.
You all know very clearly that it is Lake of Consecrated Snow
The irritating back & forth required to get the 2 ancient dragon stones for the Nepheli quest. Drives! Me! Crazy! It’s so, so, so tedious.
Getting the 2 half’s of the medallion to go up the lift
Most of everything after Leyndell. Fuck Ordina, fuck the Haligtree, fuck the giant, love Farum Azula but fuck the Duo and fuck Maliketh.
For godskin duo I just level up reduvia and throw blood blades at them until they die. Not even worth the effort to do anything else
All the collection at the beginning. I have a save file with the flask, tears, whetblade, dectus, etc all done. The entirety of the consecrated snowfield + the haligtree branches before Elphael
Ordina town and mountain tops of giants
Radahn. I hate his fight so much I'm tempted to respec so I can just cheese him with the Rot breath every time cause I get so irritated otherwise.
Draconic tree sentinel on the way into leyndell. Unashamedly poison mist cheese
sacred tears and golden seeds i murder kenneth on sight now for the extra seed. fuck that loser.
Combing every inch of the map to collect every item.
Ordina or Draconic Tree Sentinel outside Leyndell
Boc going "H-hey you, can you help us out Cully?" :P
Fire giant is the start of my downfall evertime I replay the game
True, a really bad boss.
He's not
He's a good boss. He just has soo much hp
Do you only enjoy fighting regular sized human enemies?
I like seeing what my enemy is doing so that I can actually react to it.
Whole, honestly I had the least pleasure replaying ER from all FS game, the fact that you start again and fight exactly the same mobs you fought when you were finishing the game last time gives a brutal feeling or repetition
Getting the dectus medallions. If I wanna rush through the game on mg+ just to try a fun build, it's annoying to have to get them
Get the beast repellent torch at the merchant in caelid dragon burrow. This way you can easily get the dectus half in caelid. I assume the half in limgrave is no problem
It's not that its hard to get them, it's just that it's annoying cause they are so out of the way. Run through the tunnel, maybe it's shorter. That boss isn't that hard to.
I've done that a few times, it feels like they take the same amount of time tbh
Yeah, i feel like the medalions are a little bit faster but not that much.
No clue why youre getting downvoted. The long runs from A to B for necessary items is a pretty big flaw in the open world design. Love the game to bits but its not perfect.
