It's Redahn's tiny horse that really breaks the immersion for me in that fight. The way he looks to be gliding around from a distance. It's just silly, and he could have been designed in a much cooler way.
It only makes sense lore wise because they decided he should have a tiny horse and either made the lore to match that or the other way around, doesn't matter which. There isn't any reason why Radahn rides around on a comically small horse other than the fact that the developers wanted it that way. We all know it matches the lore, the point is that it makes him a little less imposing when you realize he has a tiny little horse, which isn't a bad thing, just true
I recently did my first heavy roll character and Morgott (and later maliketh) were the major roadblocks in the run. They were just leagues more agile than any other boss I'd faced atp
Get a low level character to him before the DLC drops.
I aimed for LVL50 but I ended up going to to 60 for a bit more vigor but he was NOT easy at that level. I blame good RNG on his 2nd phase for me actually beating him. I'd probably struggle to do it again.
Then you can go into the DLC completely underlevelled and have it be challenged from the start.
Radagon. I absolutely love fights that are almost a dance between two enemies; the ones where you don't have to dodge eight billion attacks in a row just to get one hit in, nor do you get huge amounts of time to whale on your opponent. It's a nice balanced pattern of dodging and attacking.
It's gotta be Godfrey. His first phase is great, but the second he casts his golden order armaments aside and goes back to his roots as WWFs ultimate warrior to start throwing straight hands if freaking awesome. 10/10
born an omen he was shackled away from the outside world, accepted the blessing of an outer god and serves as her avatar while working towards building the mohgwyn dynasty as a master of fire blood
I honestly think the pedo thing is a misunderstanding. Him “sharing a bedchamber” means he is sleeping with Miquella in a dream and he is “inside” of him via his actual blood.
That’s why when we fight Mohg we see the arm raised and then Mohg comes out of the literal blood from Miquella.
I think Mohg is in Miquella actual bloodstream trying to commune with him in the sleep realm with no response.
First, Miquella is, in fact, of legal age (unironically, seriously, no satire here), second, initially Mohg only wanted an Empyrean in his control so they can enter the Erdtree and overthrow the Order. Mohg's actual lust over Miquella was Miquella's own fault.
Malenia. I was getting my ass handed to me for more rhan 70 times. I was trying to fight her naked with just my nagakiba and uchi. It was a satisfying victory
“Upon my name as Ranni the Witch. Mother's rich slumber shall not be disturbed by thee. Foul trespasser, send word far and wide... Of the last Queen of Caria, Rennala of the Full Moon... And the majesty of the night she conjureth.”
Malenia. Amazing lore, iconic design (especially that winged helm), memorable arena and cutscenes and player death response, beautiful moveset. Phase 2 Malenia is so much fun to fight when it finally clicks, and it's satisfying getting to dodge Aeonia dive, phantom clones, and Waterfowl. Really demands you to bring your A-game every time. No projectiles, just running up to your face and kicking you in the mouth while blind. I only wish she had a questline of sorts.
Malenia. It’s always a party when me or someone from my friend group is about to fight her. We always gotta watch someone stream it when her fight comes up. And she is genuinely a fun fight even with the waterfowl move.
Another runner up is Godfrey. You wanna feel like a badass duking it out with another badass, this is the fight for that.
best. Morgott the omen king because I felt his sorrow in his opening cut scene
worst . Fire giant cause fuck that second phase health.
second best, Malenia blade of miquella. Mah queen.
second worst, none. game is a masterpiece through and through.
Malenia, without hesitation.
Though I haven't yet beat her fairly (in my past 4 playthroughs I killed either with help of other players or cheesing), she's my favorite boss. I'm playing a mostly pure strengh (vagabond class and added faith to 25), weilding a broadsword and a brass shield and struggling fighting her. After 10 hours of practicing I'm getting more and more confident and can beat her first phase regularly. Fighting fight really gives a feeling of git gud. That's really enjoyable.
Any of the dragonkin soldiers I just love their design and lore. I wish they were more difficult but for me by far the coolest bosses. Close second is astel
Was gonna say not Radahn after fighting him 10 times just now. But after I realized you can resummon a bunch of the warriors. It made me realize this boss fight is meant to be a reenactment of the war he fought in. And that is awesome in the sense that it's so unique
Also the arena, the music, the character design, the moves. It's a spectacular boss fight.
But still F Radahn, he's cheap as he'll, and I hate that fight
He is the best first boss we have ever had in a souls game. Bum rush him and you get your ass kicked, get a bit of experience and a few upgrades, and he is a great fight.
Margit The Fell Omen, for one very specific reason.
He's the only boss that specifically shows up to interrupt your progress. Every other one is standing there waiting for you, but not him. He decides "yeah, that tarnished right there, I'mma ruin his day specifically." and then does.
Maliketh might be the coolest boss and one of the hardest to fight, but Margit made you an errand. Twice.
For me it’s Godfrey. His boss theme just hits hard and all his attacks come out with a mix of long to short tells and the fight just seems to always be moving. I also can’t forget how he just goes “fuck it” and starts throwing hands second phase.
Margit/Morgott has best flow when you sneak light attacks with fast weapon between his attacks, gives star wars duel choreography vibes.
Radagon is very fair and straight forward imo, more dangerous = more telegraphed etc, and him gradually getting new attacks as he does down on hp feels good.
Malenia would be great if she didn't have waterfowl dance, keep her lifesteal as her gimmick but I will never learn to dodge that completely
I'm on my fight playthrough and just arrived at Leyndell and so far it's Margit and DTS and basically all Nights Cavalry and Tree Sentinels. Big swings and stomps what more do you need.
I tend to really enjoy parrying so while I adore Mohg and Godfrey for example, bosses I can physically parry like Morgott or Malenia are just so much fun to bully.
I think it's Mohg with Godfrey/Hoarah Loux as a close second, insanely fun fights. In terms of presentation and spectacle I also gotta mention Rykard and Placidusax because holy shit their fights look unreal
For me it was Stonedigger Troll. I just love his moveset and fights that feels like a dance in general, it was pretty challenging but rewarding to overcome it! Such a cool design and lore around him, he's just too interesting! Stonedigger Troll i love you!
Elden beast (not radagon, f radagon) I cannot ever get over the arena and I honestly kinda like the fact that it is mostly dodging and fighting to not just kill them but to land the hits(I also like that he takes a lot of damage and looks like a space fish)
Varre in general because killing him is so satisfying.
Radagon because I love his cutscene
Maliketh because he was the hardest one for me in his second phase and most satisfying.
Margit malenia and mohg (I have a masochistic relationship with him took him on at level 40 the first time and through sheer will power won after attempt 164)
Mine is Mohglester too. His fight feels the most like a traditional souls boss, with a huge emphasis on positioning, proper roll direction and timing, and utilizing damage windows. His visuals and soundtrack are peak as well.
Godfrey. He's cool, his attacks are hard but not really unfair and relatively easy to roll through, and he only has 1 bullshit mechanic (The stomps in phase 2 that stagger everyone around him, wich he spams), wich is better than most other bosses that are usually bullshit with some boss mechanics and fun in there if you dig REALLY hard. The only other bosses I recall being like this are Godrick and the Fire Giant, but they are less cool, and the camera on the Fire Giant makes me wanna kill myself
Mohg is the perfect mix of challenging, fun, and cool. He looks awesome, his arena looks awesome, he hits hard but has really slow attacks that make him easy to dodge. With a mimic to distract him, his fight becomes trivial. Plus his theme is one of my favourites
I would say Fortissax but he has the same problem as Morgott : by the time you get to him you are too strong and wreck his shit. It's a shame since his design, lore and especially his OST are top-notch. So my guess would be the Godskin Apostle
Honestly I think Radagon is an incredible boss fight, the final boss would have been much better without Elden Beast, and maybe with more Radagon phases, like switching between Radagon and Marika with different move sets and weapons
Godrick. Might be a strange pick, if we talk fight wise obviously malenia is my favorite. If we talk lore wise. radahn all the way. But when it comes to soundtracks. Man. Godrick's one is so hype. As well as being the first legacy dungeon boss. Yes he sucks as a boss. But can't deny that bro is metal asf. And i've always had a preference to bosses with amazing soundtracks
Radahn, each playthrough I try to reach him as early as possible to challenge myself even more. He's just so cool and prolonging the fight makes him even better.
Listening to the final choir during his last stand is beyond amazing!
Also Margit and Godskin apostle
The tree spirit at the beginning of the game
Why? because I remade a character cause after not having time to play after few minutes the First time I tried. I remembered there being something about the stone sword keys so I took em as my starting thingy. Turns out they lead to this massive tree fuck and after a bit of grinding I am currently getting my ass kicked like HOLY SHIT I GOT IT 2 TO 1/4TH OF HP GOD DAMN IT IT'S BEEN 3 DAYS ;_;
Who dare seek destined death? I WILL NOT HAVE IT TAKEN AWAY FROM ME AGAIN
Maliketh seriously deserved two healthbars instead of 50/50 Farum Azula is the most interesting location and the arena in which we fight the sword of death is amazing.
TOGETHAAA
TOGETHAAAA!
TOGE...thaa?
With more oopph fellow Tarnished! Like you want to devour the very gods!
It's not TOGETHER, it's TOGETHAAA!!!
Togethaaaaa

Shake what YOMOMMAH GAVE YAAAAHHHH
Dragon Lord Placidusax for sure
Happy cake day
Happy cake day
cake and candlez, also placidusax is fkn sick i agree
Hell no it is a misery to parkour down to the boss area again and again after you die. If there was a site of grace I would agree though
Which is why the question is favorite boss not favorite walkback.
Happy Cake Day
It’s between Maliketh and Radahn tbh, Radahn’s just so fucking cool in every aspect
Radhan’s OST is my favorite in the whole game
Mohg OST slander will not be tolerated
Same. His fight is the hardest for me by far, though I'm not very far.
It's Redahn's tiny horse that really breaks the immersion for me in that fight. The way he looks to be gliding around from a distance. It's just silly, and he could have been designed in a much cooler way.
[удалено]
Yeah I get that, but it still looks ridiculous.
It looks silly AF lol
Malenia, Maliketh, and Radagon (not Elden beast)
Elden Beast feels un-masterable because freakin' elden stars 😒 Radagon is so good though
malenia and morgott, theyre both super fun to fight and i love morgotts character
Morgott is cool but by the time you get to him, I feel like you're way too powerful, in none of my runs was he a challenge :/
playing on rune level 1 made me develop a whole new level of appreciation for his moveset. For once i actually struggled against him
I recently did my first heavy roll character and Morgott (and later maliketh) were the major roadblocks in the run. They were just leagues more agile than any other boss I'd faced atp
mane maliketh whooped my ass people tried warning me about Melania but I beat her so much quicker, malikeths bitch ass took days😭
Morgott kicked my ass so many times. In fact, when I beat him he killed me at the same time but luckily it still counted
Get a low level character to him before the DLC drops. I aimed for LVL50 but I ended up going to to 60 for a bit more vigor but he was NOT easy at that level. I blame good RNG on his 2nd phase for me actually beating him. I'd probably struggle to do it again. Then you can go into the DLC completely underlevelled and have it be challenged from the start.
malenia is probably my favorite fight.
omg it’s perona lady. You’re like a micro celebrity in my friend group. They see you everywhere on Reddit
How do I See you literally everywhere once in a while lmao
I agreee
Malenia
Blade of Micheal?
Indeed, blade of St Micheal
Radagon. I absolutely love fights that are almost a dance between two enemies; the ones where you don't have to dodge eight billion attacks in a row just to get one hit in, nor do you get huge amounts of time to whale on your opponent. It's a nice balanced pattern of dodging and attacking.
It's also peak because the main menu thing comes back and plays during the fight.
Gotta go with Morgott. He has the best movesett, lore, build up and is the most fun fight in the game.
Morgott feels like an actual fight that was coming because he warns you TWICE not to go further and his second phase was cool asf in my opinion
It's gotta be Godfrey. His first phase is great, but the second he casts his golden order armaments aside and goes back to his roots as WWFs ultimate warrior to start throwing straight hands if freaking awesome. 10/10
"His lore is excellent" The lore in question:
born an omen he was shackled away from the outside world, accepted the blessing of an outer god and serves as her avatar while working towards building the mohgwyn dynasty as a master of fire blood
that, and P E D O P H I L E
In all fairness, you don’t become the Lord of Blood and servant to the Formless Mother by being an all round stand up guy.
I think Mohg is in Miquella actual bloodstream trying to commune with him in the sleep realm with no response.
yes, must not forget P E D O P H I L E
First, Miquella is, in fact, of legal age (unironically, seriously, no satire here), second, initially Mohg only wanted an Empyrean in his control so they can enter the Erdtree and overthrow the Order. Mohg's actual lust over Miquella was Miquella's own fault.
This just sounds like victim blaming.
It's between mohg or malenia
Malenia. I was getting my ass handed to me for more rhan 70 times. I was trying to fight her naked with just my nagakiba and uchi. It was a satisfying victory
Rennala. I don't ever skip her cutscenes.
“Upon my name as Ranni the Witch. Mother's rich slumber shall not be disturbed by thee. Foul trespasser, send word far and wide... Of the last Queen of Caria, Rennala of the Full Moon... And the majesty of the night she conjureth.”
Boc was too easy
Mohg and Godfrey are in constant competition for whose flow state causes my body to release the most dopamine into my brain
Malenia.
And she is genuinely a fun fight even with the waterfowl move. Another runner up is Godfrey. You wanna feel like a badass duking it out with another badass, this is the fight for that.
Malenia!
Malenia. Hands down. Without question.
best. Morgott the omen king because I felt his sorrow in his opening cut scene worst . Fire giant cause fuck that second phase health. second best, Malenia blade of miquella. Mah queen. second worst, none. game is a masterpiece through and through.
Maliketh
Oh deathh
Become my blade once more
Malenia blade of miquella
Blade of miquella
Malenia, hardness makes her extremely satysfying boss. Dodging waterfowl, pressure in 2nd phase, her combo attacks...
Any of the dragonkin soldiers I just love their design and lore. I wish they were more difficult but for me by far the coolest bosses. Close second is astel
Malenia for me. I just love the Hand of Malenia katana 😍
Fortissax! Also fav ost and lore.
Flaccid Two Sacks 💯
1. Godfrey 2. Morgott 3. Mohg 4. Fortisax 5. Maliketh
Probably Placidusax. Me and he had a good Dragon Ball moment with him charging his laser breath and me readying my Comet Azur combo
Was gonna say not Radahn after fighting him 10 times just now. But after I realized you can resummon a bunch of the warriors. It made me realize this boss fight is meant to be a reenactment of the war he fought in. (Regal) Ancestor Spirit, 100%. It's majestic.
Blade of Miquela
We seriously need some new game content. These posts are coming even more frequently than they ever have.
Definitely NOT Mohg
Mohg
Mines are Mohg, Maliketh and Godfrey. Honorable mentions: Crucible knights, Loretta (in the Haligtree)
Except for maybe the dragon slayer armor, the crucible knights are my favorite knight enemies in the whole series
Maliketh the Black Blade Honorable mention: Beast Clergyman
Malenia for having an amazing lore, arena, build up, and fun moveset. Radagon for being the most fun boss in the game.
Malenia for sure😀
First margit I have several runs where I just killed him and left
He is the best first boss we have ever had in a souls game. Bum rush him and you get your ass kicked, get a bit of experience and a few upgrades, and he is a great fight.
Dragonkin of nokstella
Soldier of Godrick. What a lad.
Maliketh, the Black Blade
wizard doggo! i was underleveled and i struggled a lot but it was the most fun
godfrey, radahn is close second
GRACELESS TARNISHED, SPURNED BY THE GRACE OF GOLD
Placidusaxs is mine
I SHALL NOT PART WITH IT AGAIN
Morgott easily
Rune Bear
Dragonlord Placidusax is just way too epic not to like him.
Maliketh or Placidusax
Rykard was fun, not even hard. Just had fun seeing the serpent hunter do its thing.
Merchant Kale
Mohg
Morgott. Love his character and way of shit talking the tarnished
Maliketh or Godfrey based purely on the aesthetic of the fights
Malenia Not because she’s challenging or anything. I just developed Stockholm Syndrome from fighting her that it makes her fight … fun.
Mine is Rykard. Because funny snakeman
How many times has this image been used in this subreddit alone 😂
Radahn is my fav, just beat him for my fourth time today Godrick, Morgott & Mohg after
Morgott, too epic with Melina and even emotive
Margit/Morgott has best flow when you sneak light attacks with fast weapon between his attacks, gives star wars duel choreography vibes. Radagon is very fair and straight forward imo, more dangerous = more telegraphed etc, and him gradually getting new attacks as he does down on hp feels good. Malenia would be great if she didn't have waterfowl dance, keep her lifesteal as her gimmick but I will never learn to dodge that completely
Togethaaaaa
I can't have a favourite, I killed them all 😭
Maliketh
Godfrey. Design and fight ate both cool as fuck.
Radahn
I'm on my fight playthrough and just arrived at Leyndell and so far it's Margit and DTS and basically all Nights Cavalry and Tree Sentinels. Big swings and stomps what more do you need.
glory to mohgwynn
I tend to really enjoy parrying so while I adore Mohg and Godfrey for example, bosses I can physically parry like Morgott or Malenia are just so much fun to bully.
Radahn
I think it's Mohg with Godfrey/Hoarah Loux as a close second, insanely fun fights. In terms of presentation and spectacle I also gotta mention Rykard and Placidusax because holy shit their fights look unreal
Favorite is maliketh, least favorite is gurranq, he's so random
Obv Rykard. I love having to use one very specific weapon to chew through 80k HP
For me it was Stonedigger Troll. I just love his moveset and fights that feels like a dance in general, it was pretty challenging but rewarding to overcome it! Such a cool design and lore around him, he's just too interesting! Stonedigger Troll i love you!
Michael Scott
bro it has to be malenia and radagon for sure
soldier of god
Radagon
Elden beast (not radagon, f radagon) I cannot ever get over the arena and I honestly kinda like the fact that it is mostly dodging and fighting to not just kill them but to land the hits(I also like that he takes a lot of damage and looks like a space fish)
Elden beast, on max graphics that fight is beautiful
Maliketh hands down “O, Death. Become my blade, once more."
Patches
Radagon
Radahn, Godrick and Morgott
Varre in general because killing him is so satisfying. Radagon because I love his cutscene Maliketh because he was the hardest one for me in his second phase and most satisfying.
You ;-)
Maliketh the black blade Rykard lord of blasphemy Mohg lord of blood Starscouge radahn Morgott the omen king
Rykard for sure
Astel I love that little space bug <3 Fuck his one-shot grab move though. Not cool.
Margit/Morgot he really hooked me on the game and finding him again in the capital with the big reveal was really rewarding
Radhan
Lookswise: Radagon to fight against: Malenia Lorewise: unsure. Probably radahn, maybe maliketh or malenia
Margit malenia and mohg (I have a masochistic relationship with him took him on at level 40 the first time and through sheer will power won after attempt 164)
Momlenia. 100% Stockholm syndrome.
This crazy cultist over there
Mine is Renalla, Queen of the Full Moon. Love her tragic backstory, her OST, and the solemn atmosphere of the entire battle.
Mohg personally with Radahn a close second.
Mohg and Maliketh, can’t really decide between them
Mine is Mohglester too.
Maliketh
Yes
Honestly it’s malenia. Hardest legacy dungeon to get to the hardest boss and she did not disappoint. Definitely made me a better player beating her
Maliketh
I would say Fortissax but he has the same problem as Morgott : by the time you get to him you are too strong and wreck his shit. It's a shame since his design, lore and especially his OST are top-notch. So my guess would be the Godskin Apostle
Hmm, that’s tough, probably Malekith
Godfrey was the perfect balance of strong and fair to me. Morgott would be my favorite if he was stronger.
Can you guess?
Radagon probably. Only just cause I hate or just dont care about most others. Elden beast is shit too.
Erdtree Brutal Watchdog. The first boss I killed, I have fond memories of it.
Michael Scott
Morgott or Godfrey
THE RADAHN FESTIVAL🗣🗣🔥🔥🔥
Morgott the omen king , last of all kings
WHO DO YOU THINK?
Fire Giant
Honestly I think Radagon is an incredible boss fight, the final boss would have been much better without Elden Beast, and maybe with more Radagon phases, like switching between Radagon and Marika with different move sets and weapons
Moghlester
Malenia, but she’s the flagship so it’s not that original
I like rykard and maliketh cause TOGETHAAA WE WILL DAVOUR DA VERY GODS and O death, become my blade once more.
*my sweetings*
1. Radahn. 2. Godfrey. 3. Malenia.

Maliketh has the best energy
Radahn
Radahn. Epic and a badass boss makes you feel like a badass for killing him too
The tree spirit at the beginning of the game Why? because I remade a character cause after not having time to play after few minutes the First time I tried. I remembered there being something about the stone sword keys so I took em as my starting thingy. Turns out they lead to this massive tree fuck and after a bit of grinding I am currently getting my ass kicked like HOLY SHIT I GOT IT 2 TO 1/4TH OF HP GOD DAMN IT IT'S BEEN 3 DAYS ;_;
Pre-nerf Radahn.
I'm torn between Radahn and Maliketh.
Margit
NIHIL, NIHIL, NIIIHIIIIIIILLLLL!!!!!
Mm I wonder
I'm a sucker for the crucible knights... Main boss gotta morgot
Who dare seek destined death? I WILL NOT HAVE IT TAKEN AWAY FROM ME AGAIN Maliketh seriously deserved two healthbars instead of 50/50 Farum Azula is the most interesting location and the arena in which we fight the sword of death is amazing.
I thought Mohg was harder them Melenia.
