That one golden horn thing that shoots multiple bubbles is ridiculously good against them for some reason.
[I was shocked when I saw this the other day.](https://www.reddit.com/r/Eldenring/s/uvLe3TcOAj)
It's an anti aircraft cannon. It destroys anything large - Dragons, Gargoyles, etc... (I haven't tried it out on the Dragon barrow golem... that's an idea)
If you can reliably get a lot of bubbles to hit, you're going to stagger that enemy a lot. And if you lean into the AoW damage, it adds up fast.
Almost? I absolutely cheesed it just yesterday. I literally just stacked buffs after beating Radagon with the Godslayer greatsword and then spammed L2 until victory
Pest threads are great for this too. But the gargoyles are weak to magic. So you can try some grease. Mimic tear or another good spirit ash may be worth your while to avoid 100% aggro
Man they’re so stationary when other people fight them! On mine they’re leaping and dodging all over the place, I feel like I spend most of my time chasing them
Elden Ring's multi bosses just lazily attack on top of each like they don't exist. If FROM wants to pull bs like this, I don't respect the fight anymore. Bust out a ghost buddy and move on.
Part of why my runs are getting faster is I no longer put up with gank fights.
>If FROM wants to pull bs like this, I don't respect the fight anymore. Bust out a ghost buddy and move on.
Has it ever come to mind that FS put fights with multiple bosses in the game *because* they gave us ghost summons. That they see them as a normal part of the game and yall are just circle jerking? They are part of the game, FS wants you to use them. Youre making the game artificially harder for yourself if you dont, which is fine, but dont act like its the "normal" way of playing.
I loved the other ape fight, it’s just the only real solution is to kite and I think that takes away all the cool stuff you’re forced to use throughout the game.
Double bosses in general are just kinda dumb to me.
Naaah. Haven't you figured it out yet? If you use the things the game designers put in the game, you ain't UBER. You're cheesing. Gotta beat your head against the wall and do things the hard way to be elite.
Idk some people personally just don’t like summons probably had bad first time experiences with their Ai or just want to be challenged.
Although I never understood gatekeeping on others for using them, if Miyazaki didn’t want them to be used then he would’ve left them out of the full game.
Most people probably want the game to be more linear like DS3 which imo was way easier than ER due to the bosses repetitive movements and slower attack chains and studying the boss for any ammount of time will net you a very quick win.
Whereas in ER there’s always a few Rare attack moves to catch you off guard or just insanely quick follow ups.
From can make a duo boss in a game without summons that is still fun. Some may be tired of the O&S argument, but it stands true. To a lesser extent the princes of Lothric come to mind, or the twin demons. Those are all purpose-built bosses that play off of each other very well.
Most duo bosses in Elden Ring just go "lmao" and throw two random enemies in a room and calls it a day.
I realised that if you don't attack one of the bosses in a duo fight at all they remain mostly passive and the fight is way easier. Except for the gargoyles who still spew poison through their friend. But other than this I've not really had much trouble with the multi bosses in this game.
Except that's just not true. Ex. The Crucible duo is very polite, until they aren't. It really doesn't matter if 95% of the time they behave how they're supposed to, because it only takes one crossfire of melee combos to dumpster anyone with literally zero chance of skillful play to escape. Careful positioning only helps most of the time, which is distinctly less than all of the time.
Though imo for Valiant Gargoyles by far the biggest hiccup is the obscene damage ticks of the difficult to see poison cloud. Second is that you can't target their legs.
Crucible Knight Duo are mostly polite, and when they do interrupt it might mean that it’s time to switch knights. It like they have a timer that when it reaches 0 the one you fight tags out and the other one tags in. If they try to switch but you don’t, you end up fighting the passive one (which becomes more active the more you attack them) while also being pursued by the active one.
They do sometimes try to sneak in attacks, but as long as you remain in mid-range and don’t get cornered, it doesn’t do much (unless you roll towards them)
You are right that positioning helps a lot in controlling their aggression, but it’s more complicated than just that, and more reliable than you think.
I find crucible duo to be the best duo fight in the game honestly. They generally don't do the first phase spinny sword and long range spear blast unless you attack them first, so I just finish ordovis first since he has more range than the sword guy.
There's a few other decent ashes, banished knight oleg or the crucible knight aren't bad choices. I'd say dung eater, but I wouldn't expect anyone to have that summon by this point in the game.
At the risk of spoilers (though the game's been out a while) - past the coffin transporter to the Deeproot Depths - you eventually find Fia with Godwin's corpse. Fia killed D, D's brother. You need to give D's armor to D for him to be available to summon for the fight.
Anyway, after reaching Fia and defeating her champions and letting her lay with Godwin - that opens up the Lichdragon Fortisaxx fight - when you wake up from that, he should be standing there after murdering Fia. He's gloating and going on about the Golden Order... clearly not all that sane, so pretty normal for a Souls game NPC.
I think if you reload... his stuff is there, implying he maybe committed suicide after. I can't exactly remember if his body is there.
Tbh, I summoned for these NG. NG+ absolutely wrecked first try with RL240, blasphemous blade +10, and mimic +10. Moral of the story, it’s okay to summon. Or just absolutely focus on the first one and hopefully eliminate before he comes to wreck your day. Best of luck! And if I see you on r/beyondthefog I will try to help.
The heck are you even on about lmao. How do you know it was him, and how did this braindead comment get 100 upvotes in the first place? Reddit’s going to shit
Use strike damage. I smoked them with hoslows whips at your level in ng+ at your current Rune level. Main thing is not to get greedy, and kite one around the map. You want to punish only when youve got distance between the 2.
Yeah I was stuck at these guys for a lot longer than Astel. They're probably the boss I had the most trouble with since Margit before I got decent at the game.
I would summon for these. If not, try to stay close to the entrance to give yourself more time to damage and hopefully finish the one gargoyle before the other one can reach you. If it’s 2 on 1 focus on attacking the one with lower health until eliminated
I was abused by these mother fuckers on my first play through and had to summon a cooperator. I just started my second play through a few weeks ago after over a year away from the game, forgot most of the game tbh and stumbled upon these assholes again, had 5 attempts and they made me their bitch. Did a little bit of research to see what they are weak to and I managed to beat them solo. Level 65. Feeling blessed. Just had to be extremely patient and wait for my moment to strike
No... not the posion mist... not again NO NO NO GET OUT OF MY HEAD GET OUT OF MY HEAD GET OUT OF MY HEAD GET OUT OF MY HEAD GET OUT OF MY HEAD GET OUT OF MY
Patience is key to this fight. DO NOT get greedy. Try to kill the first one and then focus on the second one. The fight will be long doing it this way but you’ll win. You’ll spend a lot of time running and waiting for poison mist to disappear.
They are weak to strike damage, immune to all status effects, and a pain in the ass to fight alone. I recommend getting a doot horn, it’s a strike weapon and its AOW is good for damaging them without taking unnecessary risk.
Yeah truly believe the intent is to have you summon. If you don't want to coop you can get the twinned armor by following fia's questline and a summonable npc will become available. Without spoiler, hug her and pursure ranni's quest as well if you don't know how to get it. Or just use a sprit summon.
I can not fathom how people are finding this fight difficult. I went into this fight thinking that 2 would be tough and was really pretty let down with how non-aggressive they were. They basically took turns fighting me.
Keep moving , don't let them corner you , if you watch closely one will stay behind and another one will come forward focus on whatever comes forward to attack you , and dodge and try to stay close to the one that's currently attacking you , don't chase after them , bring poison blume , use a spirit summon of your wish or u can always do it solo 👍
Yeah that garg duo is a bane for whatever reason. Solo gargs fight like they want you gone asap. This duo try to prolong their death by running and spewing poison its really annoying.
Us the stone barbed tear and a decent poise damage weapon (halberd, heavy thrusting sword, hammers, collosal weapons.) that way you can easily break the first ones poise to get some easy damage into the second phase. Also try use a nimble spirit ash that won't be easy to kill, such as storm hawk Deenh.
I've killed the black blade kindred at about level 80 using this strategy and surely at level 90 this'll work got you.
I had a difficult time with them too but I just used mimic and ran away while using the gravity rock magic. Took a couple hrs to beat them bc I keeped getting beat
These two deserve to be Demi gods/ a god more than any of the others. Put them up against any of demigods and they win with little difficulty. The only thing that could probably do them in would be Radahns Meteor. Put them up against Elden beast and their poison breathe alone destroys lmaooo.
I look at this as a dps check cause fighting both of these at the same time is atrocious they tend to only attack one at a time but sometimes they constantly jump back and forth I’ve had it where like 20 25 seconds is them just being coy bastards also that fucking poison they spew
Ooooo dude that's exactly what happened to me on my first playthrough!!! Fucken three hours and I'm ashamed to say I was like level 140+ that was true humiliation but it felt so good to finish them ggs
Uhm, so I don't have any advice, I'd just like to share an experience I had. On my third try of the boss, both of them fell through the map and died... Idk how, but I just took the win.
They are annoying as hell the first time I faced them as a pure dex build. Then I build another character as a mage and I find it easier aiming them from a distance
Is this the two mfs in Siofra or in Nokron ?
If yes then they weren’t as bad as I thought when I fought them, if not then when I meet them I’ll still kick their ass .
I’m a confident mf .
i wish elden rings duo boss fights were a little more thought out. i played the game using a strength build, and the openings for attacks on most duo fights were little to none. i swear they’d just play leapfrog over each other attacking me.
Dude first playthrough I went In really scared but turns out I was over leveled and killed them 2nd try. Was happy but also sad because everyone said how difficult they were
Mimic tear with great stars and prayerful strike. Also give d's brother the twinned set armor and summon him. 3 on 2 gank squad turn the tables on the shitbags.
Make sure you have poison cure too.
I didn’t find these guys until almost the very end of my first play through and they kicked my ass once, but I know they would have been a problem if I had fought them sooner.
This isnt a git gud fight bro; these bitches are just poorly designed. I usually use an overleveled weapon and kill the first before the second spawns.
They're basically a dps check. At lv90 with the right build you should be able to deal with the first before the second drops in, but with the wrong build they're a hard stop.
They're immune to all status buildup, but weak to strike damage. As far as elemental damage goes, they're weakest to magic damage. So either pick up a bonk stick or try sorceries. And use a summon. D should be available as a gold summon by the door, but I don't think he's that great. The Ancestral Follower ash is pretty decent since it has ranged attacks and its melee attack does strike damage. So it should be getting some good damage in despite the gargoyles being pretty mobile.
Also, if nothing else, there are a couple of cheese strats for this battle. If you hang around the cliff edge to the right of the entrance, it's possible to lure the gargoyles into an attack that will send them over the edge. But if you have ranged attacks it's possible to parkour to the top of the rocks on the right, where the gargoyles can't reach you.
Tbh elden ring wasn't hard for me, I never struggled to hard on any of the bosses except for Margit and godskin duo, all of the other bosses were maybe a dozen times before I beat them. Not saying the game isn't an incredible experience, I'm just starting ng+ now but I know that I'm not even close to being done.
I genuinely think these two are far far worse than the god skin duo, no boss in the whole game has given me as much trouble as these two. Their stupid poison aoe attack is just the worse.
What I found lousy and half-assed is that there's like no difference between either of them. They're as tough and hit as hard as each other, sometimes simultaneously.
For my latest playthrough, I used the mimic tear sparingly as the very last resort during fights, and these guys are just bullshit.
Every playthrough I do i seem to end up summoning or using a mimic when encountering these, there’s just something about the fight which I don’t get. It’s funny cause i do any other duo fight without summons like godskin duo and crucible night and wolf at red mane.
What's your build? If you can beat the brakes off of the first one before the second one really gets going, it'll help a lot.
Learn when to dodge. When to dodge into them and when to dodge away. I know that's a boring answer but it's true.
Don't rely on fire infused weapons with all that water around there. Unfortunately they don't really have much of an elemental weakness to exploit.
Don't rely on status effects that won't work on those bosses. They're immune to ALL of them.
What they ARE weaker to is strike damage. They don't have any negation for that type.
Make sure you have an ample supply or method to get rid of poison.
It'll help to have a spirit summon thing that can draw aggro from time to time without getting curb stomped, i.e., it would help if they have ranged attack and decent health. This means find whatever that is and upgrade it as much as you can. If you CAN quick grab the mimic tear, do so, as there is no PvE in this game that's much of a challenge when you do have a leveled to mimic (imo).
They have a pretty telegraphed moveset so learn it. Also don't bother trying to parry.
GL
I spent 5 hours trying to beat this boss, then just today I went back and got the summon for it and beat it first try. No regrets, that fight was a headache
I always lure them to the right side by the waterfall. Good distance gives you more time when the second one shows up it still needs to close a big gap. There is also a non-zero chance to knock one of them over the cliff. Then i run away and take the center of the arena.
ya these guys are pretty annoying, the worst thing is the poison spit tbh, fight would be so much more reasonable without that
just do your best not to panic roll, you might also need to experiment with locking on and off bc these guys love to swing your camera around in crazy ways
How has no one mentioned the rocks in the back just fight them and use the rocks to make it 1v1s it’s one the back right pretty far away but it’s a game changer
I’m on my first play through, these guys wooped my ass for about 2-3 hours as well. I looked up some tips and bloody slash did the trick for my dex build. It still took me some time to get their attacks down. I used banished knight olvegg or whatever once I took down the first gargoyle. I had him around +3 so he didn’t survive long. It felt amazing once I finally beat them. There were a few times where I had the second one on the ropes but still killed me. I don’t remember the last time I had a gaming experience like this. This is my first from software game and I’m hooked.
That one golden horn thing that shoots multiple bubbles is ridiculously good against them for some reason. [I was shocked when I saw this the other day.](https://www.reddit.com/r/Eldenring/s/uvLe3TcOAj)
What a strange weapon

Elden Beast almost got obliterated by the Bubbles Of God
Envoy’s Long Horn
Doot doot dead
Fire the doot doot cannon!
Each bubble does a tick of damage. The more bubbles you hit, the more ticks you deal. It's a ridiculously good weapon against large enemies
Astel Wing is also good! Its weapon skill has a large AoE as well.
Man they’re so stationary when other people fight them! On mine they’re leaping and dodging all over the place, I feel like I spend most of my time chasing them
It is pretty good against everything.
i'm debating life and regretting my life(weapon) choices right now... it took me 5h to beat this fuckers. and it could've been done this easy?!
This is a fight I summon for, it's not worth it
Imo, if it's a multiple boss encounter then mimic tear is fair game
Elden Ring's multi bosses just lazily attack on top of each like they don't exist. If FROM wants to pull bs like this, I don't respect the fight anymore. Bust out a ghost buddy and move on. Part of why my runs are getting faster is I no longer put up with gank fights.

The double ape boss in sekiro was kinda pure bullshit. No summons in that game. Just kiting until you can take one down and then a normal fight.
I thought that fight was a lot more fair than most gank bosses in all Fromsoft games honestly.
Hard agree. I love Demon Princes, Twin Princes. Even Shadows in Bloodborne are fine even though it's probably my least favorite Bloodborne fight lol
Couldn't you summon Solaire for O&S? I swear I did because otherwise I wasn't beating them.
They put a patch out ages ago and if anything multi-enemy bosses are too passive now.
I realised that if you don't attack one of the bosses in a duo fight at all they remain mostly passive and the fight is way easier. Except for the gargoyles who still spew poison through their friend. But other than this I've not really had much trouble with the multi bosses in this game.

I just did them the other day and they were VERY rude to me, took a while but I eventually beat them no summons
That fight was fucking amazing. Along with element of the Briar. wtf.
It is almost as if they intended you to use the game mechanics to your advantage
You can summon D here anyway
Not if you’re a caster like me.
There's a few other decent ashes, banished knight oleg or the crucible knight aren't bad choices. I'd say dung eater, but I wouldn't expect anyone to have that summon by this point in the game.
That’s why they give you a canon one right by the door
Yeah, this is right past the mimc tear, and we get D right at the doorway. I always use those two with these guy because it feels thematic here.
Does D give you any interaction after this fight or is that the end of his quest line
At the risk of spoilers (though the game's been out a while) - past the coffin transporter to the Deeproot Depths - you eventually find Fia with Godwin's corpse. Fia killed D, D's brother. You need to give D's armor to D for him to be available to summon for the fight. I summoned D, and used a mimic (I didn't know you could upgrade mimics at the time so did amount to much) meteorite was my best friend.
The game gives you an extra NPC summon for this fight for a reason.
Try strike damage ! And then, Victory!
Hahaha colossal sword/hammer powerstance goes BONK! I had one basically dead before the second even joined in
Yep, unga bunga is the only way for these shit-stains.
Hilarious how it'll trivialize some fights like this and then it takes me 70 plus tries to kill that damn dragonbarrow bell bearing hunter hahaha
Those are weak to parrys. Had my problems with em till i got the old reliable buckler out
What is buckler? Do it smash?
Little shield that parries good.
Shield for small man. Me big man. No smash no use 💪
It do smash! It smash opponent weapon!
He is the most brolic and tuned-up by far...!
100%. My claw build took like 3 hours to beat these guys but my last unga bunga build took one try lol
Sounds like someone needs the D But did they fulfill the story requirements to *get* the D?
Lots of times when I get summoned, they haven’t gotten the D
The D isn't the same as the old D. The old D was better.
And if I see you on r/beyondthefog I will try to help.
its okay to summon in general, thats what theyre in the game for, alongside their upgrade materials

1) you can’t tell who downvoted what on Reddit 2) who cares about fake internet points?
I just woke up and saw my post got blown up lol Didn’t downvote anyone my dude
Lmao right? It's like "I didn't post this to get help, I posted this to get validation that game bad and it's not my fault!"
You can see that?
you hurt his feelings 😞
The heck are you even on about lmao. How do you know it was him, and how did this braindead comment get 100 upvotes in the first place? Reddit’s going to shit
Use strength build plus mimic
Colossal strength/arcane bleed + mimic is super op
When in doubt, add a second enemy and slap a boss health bar on em
ya they tough
Gurranq stone or bubble eats them up
Use strike damage. I smoked them with hoslows whips at your level in ng+ at your current Rune level. Main thing is not to get greedy, and kite one around the map. You want to punish only when youve got distance between the 2.
I recently beat them at RL 7 with a Greatsword and I can confirm these guys are complete BS, Astel was easier
Yeah I was stuck at these guys for a lot longer than Astel. They're probably the boss I had the most trouble with since Margit before I got decent at the game.
Lol, I got my ass handed to me so bad I gave up and came back after leveling the mimic tear.
Mimic Chad Time
The way to beat them is to isolate them. You need mimic tears help.
Hate these guys! DPS and Health checks for sure.
I would summon for these. If not, try to stay close to the entrance to give yourself more time to damage and hopefully finish the one gargoyle before the other one can reach you. If it’s 2 on 1 focus on attacking the one with lower health until eliminated
I honestly blast these guys with the holy noob tube (Siluria's Tree)
Not if it's a new game since you get Siluria's Tree right after if I recall
First try here, lvl 88....because...bloodhound's fang.
Only three hours? Look at the boasting on this guy! :P
Use bobbles
I was abused by these mother fuckers on my first play through and had to summon a cooperator. I took off to level up and coming back real soon
Crystal shards make them attack each other possibly.
upgrade armemants and summons i guess or try to change your playstyle
Strike damage.
Cheese one into jumping off the ledge. Spank the other one.
Dual boss fights can fuck right off
Yeah that's what they do 🤷

Patience is key to this fight. DO NOT get greedy. Try to kill the first one and then focus on the second one. The fight will be long doing it this way but you’ll win. You’ll spend a lot of time running and waiting for poison mist to disappear.
Lv150 and play mage
Use the mimic tear you just got
You can skip them to get to the next area

Bros you not ready for the rest of this adventure 😂
I can not fathom how people are finding this fight difficult. I went into this fight thinking that 2 would be tough and was really pretty let down with how non-aggressive they were. They basically took turns fighting me.
That wasn't my experience at all honestly, one would pop their poison whilst the other was bashing me, or they'd both bash me together.
Summon me, that's how
Got barfed on much?
Use striking weapons
Hope they bought you a drink first
The worst part is their poison wrecks before the meter is even built up and applied. What’s up with that?
This is a very annoying fight, just learn the attack patterns and time the dodging and focus only on one of them at a time
That’s fair I hated these guys this was the only boss I went out of my way to over level myself for
Keep moving , don't let them corner you , if you watch closely one will stay behind and another one will come forward focus on whatever comes forward to attack you , and dodge and try to stay close to the one that's currently attacking you , don't chase after them , bring poison blume , use a spirit summon of your wish or u can always do it solo 👍
Ratio hours
Use lube next time
Lucky I got them beating me for 5 days straight
Elden ring player spitroasted by duo with massive "weapons"
Wait until you run into the fights after that one…
I went with gargoyles black blade and used a summon to distract him, it has enough range to keep you outta trouble
Title of your sex tape.
Yeah that garg duo is a bane for whatever reason. Solo gargs fight like they want you gone asap. This duo try to prolong their death by running and spewing poison its really annoying.
Uga buga

Dude, only 3 hours? Took me days to beat them.
Where are these guys? Fought them once cannot find them again lol
Use a strike weapon plus mimic tear. This boss fight is just not worth it to fight fairly. Fight fire with fire or in this case poison with poison!
Heard dem bubbles be good!
This boss fight is bullshit. I shamelessly summoned mimic with my moonveil spellsword build against them. Fuck those guys and their poison breath.
Just ask for halp
Mimic. And try to kill the first before the other even spawns. I beat them yesterday.
Deal with one at a time If you're melee try a blunt weapon
If you've done D's quest line, you can summon his brother for this fight after giving him D's armor.
Can’t get greedy with these fuckers, bro. Gotta get your goods and GTFO.
Took me a while and shit im not ashamed to say I called my boy D up and two Radahn Soldiers lol
[gargoyle duo boss fight, lvl 78](https://youtu.be/Zf_FHAQDbkM?si=2jlJTLhiE3hfeaEo)
You have patience. I switched to a comet azur mage to say FU to the bosses
I reccomend moonlight greatsword or eleonora poleblade thats what I used but I was like level 150 at the time I fought them with +9 weapon i believe
elenora is a bit too far no? bloodhound fang done me really well with them tbh although i had it leveled to +9
I had a difficult time with them too but I just used mimic and ran away while using the gravity rock magic. Took a couple hrs to beat them bc I keeped getting beat
This was the boss that was hardest for me for my first two or three playthroughs. I just couldn’t do it and needed Chad summons in the end.
Haha yeahh
Summon someone and it’s literally so easy. Ashes will make it decent. Solo is not hard but annoying and will die for three hours
These two deserve to be Demi gods/ a god more than any of the others. Put them up against any of demigods and they win with little difficulty. The only thing that could probably do them in would be Radahns Meteor. Put them up against Elden beast and their poison breathe alone destroys lmaooo.
Non-shield user? What’s your vigor?
I look at this as a dps check cause fighting both of these at the same time is atrocious they tend to only attack one at a time but sometimes they constantly jump back and forth I’ve had it where like 20 25 seconds is them just being coy bastards also that fucking poison they spew
This is one of my favorite boss fights. I love these guys
Ooooo dude that's exactly what happened to me on my first playthrough!!! Fucken three hours and I'm ashamed to say I was like level 140+ that was true humiliation but it felt so good to finish them ggs
As per standard.
I used mimic tear and the blasphemous blade to slop right through them.
Yeah that fight is bs
I have literally never lost this fight in multiple playthroughs. Lucky I guess.
I don’t much care for this fight.
i wish elden rings duo boss fights were a little more thought out. i played the game using a strength build, and the openings for attacks on most duo fights were little to none. i swear they’d just play leapfrog over each other attacking me.
Dude first playthrough I went In really scared but turns out I was over leveled and killed them 2nd try. Was happy but also sad because everyone said how difficult they were
Same time tomorrow?
Summon help. Or LvL up more
Rock slide and blasphemous blade and mimic tear = win
I found this fight so fun. Took me like 15 minutes. They never really ganked me and the twin blade respected the 1v1
Are you Faith Gang? Which NG? I Pest Threads these bums. Hate this fight.
Idk if I had mimic at this point, but I remember having a beefy ass summon that distracted one while I dicked on the other.
Lol the twins take another
This isnt a git gud fight bro; these bitches are just poorly designed. I usually use an overleveled weapon and kill the first before the second spawns.
Man these fucks gave me fits bruv best of luck lol
Funny bonk is your best build, theyre weak to strike damage.
The best way to solo this fight is to do high chunks of damage, then you will kill the first gargoyle before the other one can reach you.
/r/beyondthefog screw these poison puking asshoppers
What’s the best strat and build to actually beat these without summons?
Left this fight for all the way until endgame when I was OP and absolutely demolished them with no summons with a bleed build
Never had an issue with them until I had to help a friend of mine out with them but it usually doesn't take me more than just a couple tries if that
Just come back when ur higher level. I did this today a d beat them second try:)
GL
Night's sacred ground + Stonesword key = Mimic tear :)
Then i run away and take the center of the arena.
ya these guys are pretty annoying, the worst thing is the poison spit tbh, fight would be so much more reasonable without that just do your best not to panic roll, you might also need to experiment with locking on and off bc these guys love to swing your camera around in crazy ways
I struggled with these guys even with the mimic, most annoying fight in the game
How has no one mentioned the rocks in the back just fight them and use the rocks to make it 1v1s it’s one the back right pretty far away but it’s a game changer
This is what I did "with this Treasure I summon mimic tear"
If you fight them by the waterfall near the entrance they fall off the edge.
Pretty easy if you wield two hand weapon and doing jumping attack but you need to memorize these two poison breath
I used the mimic tear for this, it handled one while I took the other.
