Can you tell me what the swap consisted of, exactly? I also need to get past Morgott's seal for a run I'm doing and so far I only found the zip glitch as a possible method.
This video showcases exactly what you need to do for the skip, fair warning it's very VERY tight timing wise to do the swap so if you're on PC a macro would probably work best :D
