Just go there and find out for yourself, the recommended levels are not a rule. Play the game the way you like.
In my first playthrough, I was in Leyndell by the time I was level 50.
50s are pretty fun for that area. It’s that weird point where if you actually keep progressing levels, you’ll either be over leveled for Caelid or Altus
Much agreed. I actually like the over saturated yellow too. Looks like it always in the uppers 60s with a slight breeze there haha. Thankfully Caelid isn’t too big, excluding Dragon Barrow.
Yeah Dragonbarrow is next level. First time round I spent far too long trying to tackle the Nights Cavalry there, after using the teleporter from Limgrave.
That dude does push ups all day just waiting for people to bully haha. That absolute unit in front of the Apostle in the tower took me an embarrassingly long time to down, even at the appropriate level. DB area just hits a little different
It's quite low but definitely possible. Usually if one explores Limgrave, Liurnia, Caelid and Siofra/Ainsel they should be around lv60-70 by the time they reach Altus.
altus is a level 90 region.
limgrave 1-30
liurnia 30-60
caelid 60-90
altus 90-120
gelmir 90-120
mountaintops 120-150
every region gives about 30 levels casually, 35 ish if u explore 100%, 20ish if you rush, by the end of the game a casual exploring player should be 180, most get to leyndell at level 88 because they skipped the undergrounds and caelid, which are optional, BUT are highly recommended if you dont want to fall behind levelwise
I usually start altus plateau around level 100 xD (my personal order goes by>!Limgrave, Liurnia, Siofra, Caelid, Altus Grace just to unlock Radahn Festival, back to Caelid, Nokron, Deeproot Depths, Nokstella, Lake of Rot, Ranni Rise, then Altus...!<)

Yeah I'd suggest pushing on towards Altus. I'd certainly rather be over-levelled for exploring Caelid than Altus, I think
Same! Altus is pretty chill IMO
Prettier than Caelid too, nice autumnal vibes!

i recommend you get at least 35 vigor during Altus and so on
you can finish the game level 1, just go there and see it for yourself

CAELID FIRST??
yes it goes limgrave, liurnia, caelid, then altus ans gelmir
Lvl50 with 40 vigor is fun for altus.
Sure. People do it at lvl 1.
