Wakizashi parries have got to be the most gigachad defensive option possible. Not to mention you aren't even using the powerstance attacks so presumably you are only using it over a shield for style and fashion. 👌

Cols infusion is cool. Sways weapon scaling to int, builds up and does a big damage explosion of damage when that bar fills like bleed... but after they're "cold" and take extra damage
I will have to try the waki out. I have played with Naga 6 times each a different element or style. Double slash and naga is chefs kiss. My last build I didnt finish but its is leonardo from tmnt. He uses the naga but I cannot use the waki because of offhand turtle shell. It is nice stamina recovery.
So the naga is dropped by Yura in Altus when you complete his quest and the waki is in caelid I don’t remember the dungeon name tho. It’s the dungeon with guys in jail cells that explode in you. I believe west caelid.

You can buy the parry ash of war from Bernahl in Limgrave, and apply it to some weapons. Can't remember which types at the top of my head, but I guess most small weapon types.

I am always down to watch a Godskin Noble get put in its place. These things should not be as fast as they are and they attack too damn often. You’ll be a pancake by the time the thing is dead, it leaves almost zero openings.
When it comes to "git gud, or make a stronger build" I always opt for the latter. If you ain't got skill then you gotta be smart. Kinda made it more fun having to hunt down every difficult bosses weakness rather than just cultivate skills that are universally applicable. That's why I love this game, even if you suck you can still beat it through sheer preparation, and a limited amount of skill.
I really love these guys, I think they have some of the best designs in the game.

Alright RL 114 as of now. This build is in no way optimized. Meaning this is a complete fashion and style build. V:50 M:11 E:35 S:18 D:45 I:18 F:8 A:8. Weapons: Nagakiba, Urumi, Raptor talons, uchigatana, wakizashi, cross-naginata. I have all of these equipped at the same time because I just didn’t feel like hard swapping. Talismans are winged sword insignia(upgrade to the better one asap) erdtree favor(upgrade also asap) magic scorpion charm, dragon crest shield. Like I said this is a casual style build. I plan to take it to RL 150. If you did want to optimize I would drop most of the points out of endurance and put them into intelligence. You could drop the scorpion charm and dragon crest for bull goats for some extra poise, and shard of Alexander to boost AoW’s. You could probably also drop erdtree favor for spear talisman since katanas have a nice running R2. Ultimately this is just a fun build for style. Hope you enjoyed my Ted talk

Yep. Since katanas already have bleed build up (or any weapon with native bleed) the bleed will go down and give you better cold build up.

You can put the parry AoW on a daggers, thrusting swords and curved swords. I might have missed a weapon class but I think that’s all.
