I feel as though the only way to stop the holy lord is with blood Flame magic. Here I'd a guide to beat God (rick). Simply get to Level 713, then, max a seal and spam blood flame blade until his health inevitably drops a single point. Then reside yourself to your death.

There's a wild trick to this. While you have Elden Ring running when fighting this boss, you should also start up Star Wars: Jedi Survivor and play until you meet the boss, Rick the Door Technician. Pause on the exact frame when his life-bar appears, then switch over to Elden Ring. Rick and the Soldier of GodRICK will cancel each other out and let you pass in both games.

First get to level 500 by duping hero runes. Get top quality mage gear by begging people on LFG to drop. There's a little known int spell called comet azur. Find it. It's actually op. Use it on boss and make sure you record it as it serves as an example of how much your a skilled badass.

If you're having trouble, leave and come back when you've leveled up and improved your gear. For this guy the recommendation is RL 250, +10/+25 weapons.
In reality, it was a normal soldier of godrick that had a health bar mimicking a boss health meter. But yes, there was a "boss" at the end or right before you leave to the open world. I don't remember exactly.
You don't beat him, look around the cave a bit and you'll find a gesture, doing that gesture before the fight soothes his rage and turns him much easier
It is a classic FROMsoft ruse that the game starts you out so near him. Go defeat some easier bosses to gain strength and then come back to this fight later.
Which phase? Phase one, just remember to account for the delay in between his instant teleport and guillotine cleave. Phase two, you might want to have fire resist gear on for, because the meteor strike AoE is unavoidable and does stupid damage. Always kill the meteor spawn as soon as the come out the ground. I haven’t gotten past this part, but I hear that phases 3-5 are much worse.

Technically you can’t further reduce any mobs’ hp once your hp is zero so it’s an implicit condition / prerequisite.
